Arsenal officially launch 25/26 kit

Arsenal have revealed their new 2025/26 adidas home kit, blending historical elements with modern design. via Arsenal have officially unveiled their 2025/26 adidas home kit, returning to a classic red and white design while introducing a striking new visual identity built around the theme of the human heart. Advertisement With no blue detailing and a re-emphasis on tradition, the club have opted to centre the design on a reimagined crest and symbolism that reflects both heritage and connection with supporters. The shirt prominently features the gothic 'A' from the club's Victoria Concordia Crescit era, used in the 1990/91 league-winning season. It returns now as a repeating print across the shirt, front and back, linking the current squad with a defining moment in the club's history. The full club badge has also been restored, replacing the cannon emblem, albeit in a simplified white outline form. via The launch campaign includes a short film featuring William Saliba, Riccardo Calafiori, and youth product Myles Lewis-Skelly, alongside women's captain Kim Little and members of Arsenal in the Community. Advertisement Set to the sound of players' real heartbeats, the campaign draws on the club's 40th anniversary of community engagement, with children from the Premier League Kicks, Primary Stars and Football Plus programmes all featuring. Lewis-Skelly said: 'I love our new kit, it looks fresh – I'm excited to wear this in front of our incredible supporters. Their energy lifts us and when we step out in the shirt, we feel it more than ever.' Little added: 'Supporters are at the heart of everything we do, and this new kit connects to that so deeply. We carry our supporters with us, and they carry us with them, no matter where they are. They push us forward.' Arsenal's men's team will wear the new strip for the first time in their penultimate league match of the season against Newcastle United at Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The shirt is paired with white shorts and red socks, both featuring the gothic 'A' and adidas's signature Three Stripes. On the technical side, the authentic shirt uses adidas fabric for moisture control and temperature regulation, while the replica version, made from recycled materials, incorporates AEROREADY technology. Structured mesh and 3D engineering provide improved ventilation in key areas.

Arsenal 19yo signs 2nd new contract in 9 months

Alexei Rojas has signed a new contract with Arsenal, his second in the space of nine months, as the club positions the 19-year-old for continued first-team involvement in the 2025/26 season. Photo via At the start of April, journalists Pipe Sierra and Felipe Molina of AS Colombia reported that Rojas had extended his deal with a wage increase. Simon Collings of the Evening Standard has since confirmed the agreement, adding that the contract will run until June 2026. Advertisement Rojas signed his first professional deal last summer, five years after joining from Chelsea, and this new agreement underlines Arsenal's long-term belief in him. While the precise terms of the previous deal were unclear, the latest extension formalises his status at the club for next season. Photo via Rojas on Twitter It's been a bit of a strange season for Rojas. The positives are that the youth player has effectively been Arsenal's fourth-choice first-team goalkeeper, behind David Raya, Neto, and Tommy Setford. Rojas has regularly travelled to games with the team, and he made the bench for one match against Bolton Wanderers last September. Advertisement Yet even though Raya, Neto, and Setford were all absent for that League Cup game, Jack Porter got the nod to start over Rojas. Porter has been involved with the first team much less often than Rojas, even after that debut, so it was an interesting call. Photo via That decision to play Porter against Bolton means Rojas hasn't played any competitive minutes for any club team this season, including the Arsenal u21s. His only appearances have been a few games for the Colombia u20s on international duty. But in a way, Rojas' lack of action with the u21s just emphasises that he's viewed as a senior player now. He may not be playing much, but nor is Neto. That's the life of a goalkeeper at times. Advertisement Mikel Arteta will be pleased to be keeping one member of his current goalkeeping group around for next season, with Neto ending his loan and Setford likely to go on a loan of his own. Karl Hein is also likely to leave on another loan or permanent move if minutes aren't on offer in north London. If Setford and Hein leave and Arsenal finally complete their desired move for Joan Garcia, Rojas would then seemingly become the third-choice goalkeeper next season.

Arsenal u21s learn play-off opponent after final regular season game

Arsenal u21s learn play-off opponent after final regular season game The Arsenal u21s played their final game of the Premier League 2 regular season on Monday, and they now know their first play-off opponent. Photo via The Arsenal u21s took on West Bromwich Albion on Monday, in their final game of the 2024/25 regular season. Advertisement Having already qualified for the play-offs, the Gunners perhaps had less to play for than their opponents, who needed two wins in their final two games to guarantee progression to the next stage. West Brom came out the faster of the two teams, racing into a 2-0 lead by the 27th minute. But goals from Charles Sagoe Jr. and Will Sweet had Arsenal level at 2-2 just over 10 minutes later. Photo via Sweet on Instagram The second half started in a similar manner to the first, with West Brom scoring a couple of goals to go 4-2 up. Arsenal had the chances to level again, earning two penalties in the 78th and 95th minutes. But only one was converted, with Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand missing and Khayon Edwards scoring. The match finished 4-3, with West Brom taking the three points. Photo via Though there are still a couple of games to be played by other teams, Arsenal's eighth-place finish is now confirmed. No team below them can catch up. Advertisement As a result, we know Arsenal will face the ninth-place side in the play-off round-of-16, which is confirmed to be Newcastle United. The Gunners will be at home. Arsenal came out on top in the same fixture in February, defeating Newcastle 4-1 at Meadow Park. They'll want to do the same this time around. Arsenal u21 lineup vs Newcastle United Porter, Rosiak, Washington, Clarke, Sweet, Henry-Francis, Kabia, Gower, Edwards, Salah, Sagoe Jr. Substitutes Quesada-Thorn (for Washington, 62), Copley (for Gower, 62), Harriman-Annous (for Sagoe Jr., 62), Kamara (for Henry-Francis, 80), Ranson

17yo Arsenal winger signs new contract

17yo Arsenal winger signs new contract Arsenal youth winger Ceadach O'Neill has signed professional terms with the club, as per an official announcement on Monday. Photo via Arsenal have formally confirmed that 17-year-old Northern Ireland youth international Ceadach O'Neill has signed his first professional contract with the Gunners, putting pen to paper last week. Advertisement 'I'm delighted to be signing my first professional contract,' O'Neill said. 'I knew it was going to be a bit of a challenge moving over (from former club Linfield), but I think I settled in well. 'My first game we played West Ham away and I scored two, so it was a good start to the season. I think a winger needs to be able to score goals, so it's something that I'm working on, just trying to get better at in the future.' Photo byO'Neill previously confirmed that he grew up as an Arsenal fan due to his father's support of the club, and now he has a professional deal in north London. The teenager can operate on both wings, and he has seven goals and assists in 20 appearances in his first campaign with the Arsenal u18s. He also played once in the UEFA Youth League for the Arsenal u19s, coming off the bench against Atalanta. Advertisement Away from Arsenal, O'Neill helped the Northern Ireland u17s to win their European Championship qualification group earlier in early November, before going on to play for the u19s later that same month. Photo via NorthernIreland on Instagram It's been a positive debut campaign for O'Neill, and he's continued to play a regular role for the side as they make a late push for the u18 Premier League South title. The team have put together five consecutive league wins over the last month, with O'Neill featuring in all five games.

Arsenal 15yo wonderkid scores fantastic hat-trick

Arsenal 15yo wonderkid scores fantastic hat-trick Arsenal 15-year-old Max Dowman scored an excellent hat-trick as the u18s continued their strong run of form with another win over Leicester City on Saturday. Photo via The Arsenal u18s still have a shot at winning the u18 Premier League title this season, but they have to be pretty much flawless from here on out. Advertisement The team knew they needed all three points away to Leicester City on Saturday, and star midfielder Max Dowman couldn't have done much more to help them. Dowman helped Alex Marciniak to open the scoring for Arsenal, playing a clever pass to assist the close-range goalscorer for 1-0. Everton equalised minutes later, but Dowman quickly got the Gunners back into the lead with a solo run from the halfway line. Dowman then made it 3-1 in the 57th minute with a very similar goal, again running all the way from the halfway line into the opposition penalty area before finishing. The two goals are available to watch here. Photo via Once again, Leicester rallied, pulling one back for 3-2. Again, Dowman responded, scoring a penalty a minute later to complete his hat-trick. Advertisement The hosts had one more goal in them, with Louis Page scoring for 4-3. But Leicester's Will Daniels was sent off in injury time, and Arsenal's Brando Bailey-Joseph scored from close range for 5-3 to kill the match for good. Arsenal remain fifth in the u18 Premier League table, but with enough games in hand to overtake three of the four teams above them. They'll need to keep winning, but with Dowman in this kind of form that seems very possible. Photo via Arsenal Academy on Twitter Despite his midfield role, Dowman now has 12 goals and three assists in 20 games in all competitions for the Arsenal academy. That includes his cameo in the Premier League 2, playing for the u21s despite only turning 15 in December. Advertisement Away from Arsenal, Dowman has been just as impressive for the England u17s, scoring three goals and scoring two in six games to help the team qualify for the u17 Euros and the u17 World Cup later this year. For now, the player's focus will be on Arsenal's next game against Norwich City next Saturday, April 12th at 12:00 BST.
