Tata Harrier EV to launch on June 3. Here's what to expect from the upcoming electric SUV

The Tata Harrier EV has been revealed in the near-production guise and will possibly go on sale later this year Notify me The Tata Harrier EV is set to launch on June 3, as the new flagship model for the Indian carmaker's electric vehicle lineup. Though the Harrier EV has been showcased to the Indian audience several times, the company unveiled the final production version of the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo 2025. The Tata Harrier EV will introduce the company's plus architecture, which seeks to merge performance, cutting-edge technology, and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. Although Tata hasn't yet announced its complete specifications and feature list, here's what we can anticipate from the impending electric SUV. Tata Harrier EV: Exterior The Tata Harrier EV maintains a great deal of the design theme of its diesel variant, only with certain elements to differentiate it as an EV. It has a closed front grille, a hallmark design of most EVs to enhance aerodynamics. Front and rear bumpers were moderately updated, drawing some inspiration from the single vertical slats that have been featured on the Tata Nexon EV. Also Read : Tata Motors seeks to regain 50% market share in electric car segment, charge up portfolio Another very apparent difference is the aero alloy wheels, which are more efficient but do provide the car with a good stance. The LEDs feature linked daytime running lights (DRLs) and rear lamps that are mostly identical to the base Harrier. Tata Harrier EV: Interior and technology Though Tata has not officially confirmed or showcased the cabin of the upcoming Harrier EV, the electric SUV is likely to share the same dashboard shape as the ICE model of the Harrier. The Harrier EV is likely to incorporate a black and white dual-tone colour scheme for the cabin, much like the Nexon EV and Curvv EV interior design language in most recent models produced by the company. In terms of features, most amenities likely to be carried from the standard Harrier include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. Additional premium features like dual-zone climate control and a powered tailgate are likely, too. One specific feature might be of considerable interest- the "Summon Mode" that will facilitate the car move ahead and backward, all done remotely using the key fob. Also, the passenger screen at the front is expected to make a mark. On the other hand, safety should be important as well, featuring multiple airbags that may extend to approx- seven, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS-equipped technologies for further driving assistance. Tata Harrier EV: Specifications Tata Motors has confirmed that the Harrier EV will have an all-wheel drive, dual-motor setup, which will be the brand's first all-electric SUV to offer such a drivetrain configuration. While exact specifications of the battery haven't been revealed yet, it will most probably include a large-size battery pack, offering a range of over 500 km from a single charge. Also, a second, affordable variant is also likely to be offered with a single-motor, front-wheel-drive setup, for those who want a more affordable option but still require range. Upcoming BMW F 450 GS spied testing in production-ready form: What we know so far

The BMW F 450 GS adventure tourer has finally been spotted in a production-ready form and brings a few changes over the concept unveiled earlier at Auto Expo 2025. (Motorrad Online) Notify me First unveiled as a concept model at EICMA 2024 in Italy and Auto Expo 2025 in India, the BMW F 450 GS has now been spotted in production-ready form. The upcoming adventure tourer was previously spied testing in Karnataka, but the test mule was kept heavily camouflaged. Recent spy shots from Germany tell a fuller story with more details on what we can expect from the BMW F 450 GS, which will be manufactured locally in collaboration with TVS Motor Company. The production-ready test mule has a few changes over the F 450 GS Concept while retaining the same silhouette. The quad-LED DRL setup with the GS badge has been replaced with a conventional, vertically stacked dual-LED configuration. The bodywork is now complete and includes the same front visor with what seems to be a broader tail section. The exhaust features the same twin-pipe design, but the muffler has been lowered, possibly to accommodate additional equipment. Also Read : Honda X-ADV 750 launched at ₹ 11.90 lakh. Bookings open Notably, the test mule has put on cast aluminium alloy wheels, leaving behind the tubeless cross-spoke design we saw with the F 450 GS Concept. This suggests that BMW Motorrad may offer a road-focused variant at launch. The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. BMW F 450 GS: Hardware and specifications The F 450 GS Concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2025 featured a quad LED DRL setup and cross-spoke wheels. The BMW F 450 GS utilises a steel bridge trellis frame and a bolt-on rear sub-frame. It features an aluminium swing-arm with a central spring strut. The bike is held up by upside-down forks at the front and a rear monoshock. While the spy shots available do not indicate which components have been used, the F 450 GS's suspension is expected to retain some degree of adjustability with load-sensitive damping. BMW Motorrad has equipped the F 450 GS with an all-new 450 cc parallel twin engine, developed specifically for this model. The motor produces 48 bhp and is tuned for strong torque output at the lower end of the rev band, making it suitable for technical off-road riding as well as city and highway use. It has a unique ignition offset, which is expected to bring a high-revving nature to the bike. The F 450 GS is expected to launch sometime in Q3 2025, with deliveries possibly starting ahead of the festive season. While official pricing details are not available, the motorcycle is expected to be launched in multiple variants, offering varying levels of rider aids and accessories. The expected price for the BMW F 450 GS ranges between ₹ 4 lakh to ₹ 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Check out Upcoming Bikes In India. First Published Date: 21 May 2025, 14:57 PM IST

BMW F 450 GS Spied Testing; Himalayan Rival Getting Ready For Launch?

Yes, we all have seen the BMW F 450 GS concept first at EICMA 2024 and then at Auto Expo 2025, in India, and now a test mule has been spotted, well testing in India, before the motorcycle is launched towards the end of 2025. While the silhouette largely stays similar to the concept, the spy shots reveal new and interesting details about the upcoming 450 cc adventure motorcycle. To start off, the test motorcycle was seen with a 19-inch alloy wheel up front and a 17-inch alloy at the rear, shod with dual-purpose rubber. The motorcycle is wearing full camouflage and has a pillion on-board along with the rider. What is also noticeable is the top box, which is likely carrying testing equipment. The exhaust is mounted low and the test mule is also seen having saddlebags. The twin header pipes confirm the model, which is the F 450 GS. The motorcycle will have a 450 cc parallel-twin engine, which is said to make 48 hp and well, the concept weighed in at just 175 kg. The production model will be heavier, but not by a significant margin. BMW is likely to offer features like adjustable suspension, electronic rider aids, disc brakes at either end, Bluetooth/smartphone connectivity, a fully digital TFT console and full LED lighting. The BMW F 450 GS will be manufactured at TVS Motor's plant in Hosur. What is also interesting that BMW Motorrad India has currently stopped the sales of the G 310 GS, which means that the F 450 GS will be the entry point in BMW's adventure motorcycle range and will likely be priced between Rs. 4.5 to Rs. 5 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the F 450 GS will go up against KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Honda NX500.
