But new footage has shown that one Panathinaikos player didn't seem too pleased about it all. Russell Martin's men weathered an almighty storm with Jack Butland called into action just as he was the week before. The Greeks also squandered several great chances. Panathinaikos did, however, open the scoring on 53 minutes when Filip Djuricic's rather scrappy header found the back of the net. But just a minute after coming on, new fans' favourite Gassama clambered off the bench to strike with a superb first time finish. While the host Greek broadcaster showed several replays of Gassama's goal, something appeared to have happened. When the cameras switched back to the live action, Italian referee Simone Sozza was seen dishing out yellow cards. One went to a rather bemused Gassama with the other flashed towards Panathinaikos midfielder Anastasios Bakasetas. However, to those viewing on TV, it wasn't entirely clear why. Gassama appeared to have been cautioned for jumping over the advertising hoardings to celebrate his goal but Bakasetas' booking was a bit of a mystery. Rangers have released an alternative match view with their own footage as part of their 'Away Days' series on YouTube. And the footage shows exactly what went on as Gassama celebrated his goal. The winger can be seen blasting the ball home before wheeling away in delight to celebrate. But as he turns around to take the adulation of his teammates, someone else decides to show up - Bakasetas. The veteran midfielder - who had already clashed with Gers star Joe Rothwell earlier in the game - could be seen confronting the gathered Light Blues players. The Greece international appears in shot and immediately gets into words with Gers skipper James Tavernier. Danilo and Max Aarons then get into it with Bakasetas, who is subsequently joined by teammate Erik Palmer-Brown who also doesn't look too impressed. What isn't clear is exactly what made Bakasetas so unhappy. Gassama wasn't about to hang around to find out. The Gers new boy can be seen turning back towards the fans while his teammates spar with Bakasetas. The 21-year old puts his fingers to his ears as he faces the supporters. Gassama's goal made it 3-1 on aggregate and that saw Rangers through to the third qualifying round. They'll now take on Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen with the first leg taking place at Ibrox this coming Tuesday. 5 Gassama continued his celebrations while it was going on behind him Credit: YOUTUBE/RANGERS FC 5 The Gers ace and Bakasetas were both booked Credit: YOUTUBE/RANGERS FC Have YOU got a point for Kris Boyd?
