No joke: Two of the funniest actors in Hollywood are officially in-laws. Eddie Murphy confirmed during a May 29 appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" that his son, Eric Murphy, has married Martin Lawrence's daughter, Jasmin Lawrence. Murphy said the couple opted against a large wedding and instead tied the knot quietly. "They got married like two weeks ago," he revealed in a clip shared by Entertainment Weekly. "Everybody was making the big wedding plans, and then they decided they wanted to do something quiet with just the two of them. "They went off and they got married at the church," he went on to add. "They just had the two of them and the preacher." Though the pair skipped a large wedding, Murphy said there will likely be a "big party" to celebrate the union. He noted that he and Martin Lawrence, who co-starred in the films "Life" and "Boomerang," are "in-laws" and joked the "Bad Boys" actor doesn't have "to pay for the big wedding now." In 2022, Lawrence told InTouch that they met through her uncle, not their famous parents. "It wasn't even our dads, and they've done two movies together," she told the outlet. "They're friends. I don't even know. It's crazy. But we met through my uncle, and we became really good friends. We bonded on a lot of things. Obviously, we have similar backgrounds, so we understood each other on a certain level." The pair confirmed their engagement in November by sharing a romantic video on Instagram showing Murphy getting down on one knee in a room filled with candles. "We're engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn't be more excited for this next chapter," Lawrence wrote on Instagram at the time. Eddie Murphy's son is 'head over heels in love' for Martin Lawrence's daughter Speaking to "CBS Mornings" last year, Eddie Murphy joked that if Eric and Jasmin "get married and have a child, I'm expecting the child to be funny." In his own appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show," Martin Lawrence praised Eric Murphy as a "great young man."

"The Pain Would Make Me See Stars": Taylour Paige Opened Up About Her Silent Battle With Endometriosis

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, and actor Taylour Paige is getting real about unknowingly living with the chronic condition for decades. The Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F star took to Instagram on March 4 to share her experience of going decades without a proper diagnosis and the effect it had on her physical, emotional, and mental being. For those unfamiliar with endometriosis, the Mayo Clinic defines it as an "often-painful condition in which tissue that is similar to the inner lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus." It can often affect ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the pelvic lining. Along with pain, it can also lead to fertility issues, cysts, excessive bleeding, fatigue, diarrhea, and more. "Goodness the self betrayal and abuse I've internalized and would ruminate in," Taylor wrote on Instagram. "Those not for you benefit from this confusion. I've transmuted so much, but old habits die hard." "A really violent illness that went undiagnosed for 20 years but caused me so much agony and turmoil. Finally had surgery fall of 2023 with Wonderful Dr Elizabeth Poynor thanks to my sister Lena. It was 4 hours long." Taylour revealed it impacted her colon, bladder, and rectum. She also shed light on the uncomfortable things she's had to endure while battling the disease, including pain that made everyday tasks unbearable. "The pain would make me see stars," Taylour added. "Throwing up every month. Sometimes couldn't drive. the worst is how much you gaslight yourself. It's almost like there's no way you're hurting this much? it definitely psychologically does something to you because it's like you and no one around you believes the pain you're in." "So many times I've ruined a costume or a good pair of jeans. In highschool my khaki uniform skirts. i learned over the last few years that endo is anger turned on yourself. You're literally inflamed. That tracked for me." Pascal Le Segretain / Getty Images for Rabanne Taylour concluded her post by giving thanks to the people and things that have brought her and her body joy throughout her journey, including her support system like her husband and "true health mentor" Elizabeth Halpern, as well as things like acupuncture, walks, sunshine, protein, and the sauna. Love seeing people find the light during dark times! You can read more from Taylour below:
