Not a movie scene: gunfight erupts between neighbors in Turkey

ALBAWABA - This is not a scene from an action movie! A recently circulated video captured a balcony gunfight between two neighbors in a residential area in Adana, Turkey.
According to Turkish news outlet Hurriyet, security cameras captured the unusual yet terrifying incident, prompting the arrest of four individuals. The gunfight was triggered because of a feud between the neighbors, sparking outrage and calls from local social media users for the restriction of weapons in Turkey.

Reports revealed that four young men climbed up to their apartment's second-floor balcony and fired heavily at their neighbors using pistols and rifles. While no casualties were reported, the four individuals managed to flee before the police arrived at the scene. However, they were later detained and questioned for further investigation.
Turkish social media users took to several platforms, likening the incident to Westerns and popular mafia titles such as "The Godfather" and "Goodfellas."
A social media user wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), "They're shooting a western movie, the good, the bad, and the ugly, how nice, no need to go to America."
