Navi Mumbai civic body identifies 527 bldgs as ‘dangerous'
Following a survey of old and dilapidated buildings, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) identified 527 buildings as 'dangerous' and urged the residents to vacate. "Continued occupation of such structures poses significant risks, and the corporation will not be liable for any resulting incidents," said NMMC commissioner Kailas Shinde. Dog owners in Navi Mum must get licence
Navi Mumbai: Pet dog owners residing within Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) boundaries must obtain a valid dog licence, said the civic administration. The NMMC implemented the ' NMMC Dog Tax Regulations 1993 ' under Chapter 11, Section 149(1) and Section 127 (2) (a) of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949. The govt approved these regulations dating back to 1993. The Health Department offices are responsible for issuing dog licences, said an official.
