Rekha, who was pursuing her BSTC course in Churu, met Kanhaiyalal Sharma, a 30-year-old truck driver with a Class 10 education, two years ago. Initially, Kanhaiyalal was employed driving a van for a private school in the area. Their friendship eventually blossomed into love over a span of two-and-a-half years. Family Disapproval And Forced Separation Six months ago, Rekha informed her family about the relationship, but they strongly disapproved. According to Rekha, she was beaten, her mobile phone was taken away, and she was pressured to end things with Kanhaiyalal. Family Backlash And Police Involvement Upon discovering the marriage, Rekha's family caused an uproar. Despite the opposition, Rekha and Kanhaiyalal have maintained that their decision was made entirely of their own free will, without any external coercion. Rekha, however, remains fearful of her parents and has expressed her reluctance to meet them. She left home with only her essential documents.
