Mark Wright 'signs up for much-loved television show' with cast rumoured to include Molly-Mae Hague and JoJo Siwa - three months after the birth of his first child with Michelle Keegan

Mark Wright has reportedly agreed to appear on the next instalment of Celebrity Bake Off. The reality TV star, 38, will be joining a star-studded cast on the much-loved Channel 4 show, with Molly-Mae Mague and JoJo Siwa two of the celebrities rumoured to have signed up. If the speculation is true, it would mark the radio host's first television appearance since the birth of his daughter Palma Elizabeth in March, who he shares with wife Michelle Keegan. Filming for the show, which is set to air next year, is believed to have already finished. A source told The Sun: 'Mark has had his hands full being a new dad but he found time to film for the new series of Celebrity Bake Off. 'It's a cause close to Mark's heart as it's all for the Stand Up Cancer charity and he is a big fan of the show. 'It won't air until next year so fans will have to wait a good few months to find out how he fares in the tent.' After the most recent series of Celebrity Bake Off finished in March, speculation about the possible cast for next year's follow-up has been rife. While both Molly-Mae and JoJo have been rumoured to enter the tent, Babatunde Aleshe was the latest star to have reportedly signed up last month. The 38-year-old previously featured on I'm A Celeb in 2022. A TV insider told The Sun: 'Babatunde is guaranteed to be hilarious and will no doubt have plenty of banter with Paul, Noel, Caroline and Alison. 'He's not known for his prowess in the kitchen so there's sure to be some panicky moments laced with the good humour he's known for. 'His energy on the Gogglebox sofa has always been pure positivity and very infectious, and bosses are hoping he'll bring that to the tent.' Former Love Island star and influencer extraordinaire Molly-Mae's rumoured inclusion would mark her long-awaited return to reality TV. A source seemingly confirmed speculation about her appearing on the show, saying: 'She will be a great addition to the line-up and bring a healthy helping of Love island glamour to the tent. 'Molly's now one of Britain's biggest TV stars and has seen her fame steadily grow since she first appeared on the ITV dating show back in 2019.' Mark's decision to join Molly, JoJo and Babatunde in the tent comes after 'the biggest achievement of his life', welcoming his new-born with Michelle, 38. Having married in 2015, it wasn't until a decade later in March of this year that the couple announced the birth of their first-born. It's thought that they chose the name Palma because of their strong links to Mallorca, which has been their go-to holiday destination for years and the setting of their pregnancy reveal photoshoot. Appearing on his Heart Breakfast show with Olly Murs a few days after his daughter's birth, Mark recalled the moment he got to hold her for the first time. The former TOWIE star said: 'Mate, it's actually hard to put into words. 'It's the biggest achievement of my life it's all I think about but obviously, hats go off to my wife she is an absolute superhuman, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.' Sharing his appreciation for Michelle, he added: 'It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through. 'It's the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face.' He continued: 'That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it. 'I suppose everything else goes out the window and its made me realise what life is all about and my little baby Palma I love you so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

Asked if Celebrity Bake Off could be on the cards, he said: "If they want me, I'll be there. "I don't really like the idea of reality shows, but I reckon I'd give Bake Off a go. Babatunde Alesha signs up for Great Celebrity Bake Off

Babatunde Aleshe has signed up for 'The Great Celebrity Bake Off'. The 38-year-old comic will be taking his place in the tent for the Stand Up To Cancer special, with programme bosses hoping he will bring his "pure positivity" and "infectious" energy to the show. A source told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "Babatunde is guaranteed to be hilarious and will no doubt have plenty of banter with Paul, Noel, Caroline and Alison. "He's not known for his prowess in the kitchen so there's sure to be some panicky moments laced with the good humour he's known for. "His energy on the 'Gogglebox' sofa has always been pure positivity and very infectious, and bosses are hoping he'll bring that to the tent." The news comes a few days after it was revealed 'Love Island' star Molly-Mae Hague will also be taking part in the charity baking competition. A source said: "She will be a great addition to the line-up and bring a healthy helping of Love island glamour to the tent. "Molly's now one of Britain's biggest TV stars and has seen her fame steadily grow since she first appeared on the ITV dating show back in 2019." And fresh from her stint on 'Celebrity Big Brother', JoJo Siwa is also said to have signed up for 'The Great Celebrity Bake Off', with producers said to be particularly pleased because of the interest in the dancer and her relationship with Chris Hughes. An insider said: "This is a bit of a coup for the 'Bake Off' because JoJo is currently one of the most talked about young stars on TV right now. "She's barely had time to catch her breath, leaving 'CBB' last month amid huge media attention and heading straight into another huge show this month. "It's also a fantastic gig for her because although she already has a fanbase over here, the cookery contest also introduces her to a wider British audience. "Plus she got plenty of experience of cooking in front of the cameras while she was on 'Celebrity Big Brother', though this time she won't have hunky Chris to distract her." The show will see Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond returning as hosts, but long-serving judge Paul Hollywood will be joined by Caroline Waldegrave after Prue Leith decided to step back from all 'GBBO' specials.

I'm A Celeb star 'signs up for Great British Bake Off alongside Molly-Mae Hague and JoJo Siwa'

Babatunde Aleshe has reportedly signed up for Great British Bake Off's Stand Up To Cancer special. The comedian, 38, who starred on I'm A Celeb in 2022, could be joining the likes of Molly-Mae Hague and JoJo Siwa in the tent later this year. 'His energy on the Gogglebox sofa has always been pure positivity and very infectious, and bosses are hoping he'll bring that to the tent.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. MailOnline has contacted Babatunde Aleshe's representatives and Channel 4 for comment. The show is believed to be filming now and will air next year. Molly-Mae is reportedly set to make a come back to reality TV for the first time since Love Island on the Channel 4 show. A source told the publication: 'She will be a great addition to the line-up and bring a healthy helping of Love island glamour to the tent. 'Molly's now one of Britain's biggest TV stars and has seen her fame steadily grow since she first appeared on the ITV dating show back in 2019.' MailOnline has contacted Molly's representatives for comment. She has been placed firmly in the spotlight since her break-up last year with Tommy Fury, which was chronicled in her Prime Video documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind it All.' Molly and Tommy fell for each other in front of the nation during series five of Love Island, going on to welcome Bambi and then get engaged in 2023. But fans were shocked when Molly announced on Instagram last August that she and Tommy had split up after five years, with many suspecting he had been unfaithful. In a statement posted to her 8.5million Instagram followers, she confirmed the breakup, saying: 'I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.' Tommy denied continued speculation about him cheating during a magazine interview, insisting any reports about him being with other women were 'complete and utter b*****ks.' The boxer, who's the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, said the reason he and Molly ended their romance was down to his excessive drinking. He said: 'People go through different things in life. I'm 25 years old. I went through a lot and my breakup was in front of the whole world... 'Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing.' The pair's split was branded a 'publicity stunt' by fans after they were filmed packing on the PDA at Manchester United footballer Luke Shaw 's Hogmanay party in Cheshire. Molly has since denied these accusations and claimed it would have been easier if the 'painful' accusations were true. And in May, Molly began taking to her Instagram Stories to re-introduce his presence more regularly on her social media account. In the picture, Tommy could be seen sharing a kiss with Molly and their toddler, Bambi, while they enjoyed ice lollies in the sunshine. The post comes after she revealed what really happened when they were spotted sharing a kiss as the clock struck midnight and 2025 began in the final installment of her Amazon Prime docuseries. After receiving a call from her manager Fran Britton to inform her of the video, Molly was left shaking as she exclaimed 'No, oh my God,' after watching the footage. The influencer explained: 'Basically, what's happened is I've attended a New Year's Eve party and a familiar someone showed up 10 minutes before the countdown and that was Tommy. 'Basically we shared a kiss at midnight and it would appear that someone has taken a video and sold it to the press.' She continued: 'It was just a moment that we shared and I can't really explain it, it kind of just happened. 'You think you're having a private, intimate moment and nothing is private even in a room of people you think you trust and you know, people like to make a quick buck.' Molly added: 'I'd love to know how much they did make, hope it was worth it. But karma always comes back around don't you think?' Watching the clip she exclaimed: 'Sh**e. Ahhh no. No my God what? I'm literally shaking.' As Fran asked her to explain what happened, Molly swore that the boxer wasn't supposed to at the party and showed up unexpectedly. She said: 'He turned up at 10 to 12. I swear he wasn't meant to be there. 'He messaged me saying 'I am outside and I want to see in the New Year with you, I kid you not Fran he was there for eight minutes. He was literally not there. He wasn't there all night.' Since the kiss, Tommy has been seen leaving her Cheshire home and after sharing a family holiday in Dubai, Molly confirmed on her YouTube channel that the pair are 'figuring things out'.
