She asked the Duchess: "I wanted to ask you a little bit about the public narrative, because when you sign up to be an actress, you know that people are going to start recognising you, they're going to start speaking to you on the street. " She continued: "You go through those chapters and you do a lot of work, reports the Mirror. "You do a lot of selfwork and go, what's the why? "It's happening for a reason." In light of previous allegations she made about the palace, where Meghan had accused them of "perpetuating falsehoods" about her, her reference to the importance of speaking the truth has become particularly emphatic. These accusations surfaced during her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which the TV titan queried: "How do you feel about the palace hearing you speak your truth today? "Meghan's response was pointed: "I don't know how they could expect that, after all of this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us." Further into the podcast, Meghan addressed her contentious twerking video with a bold comeback. The Duchess has finally spoken out about the internet sensation caused by the recent viral video.
