Fifty One East unveils TUDOR 2025 Novelties at private event in Doha

Tribune News Network Doha Fifty One East, Qatar's favourite department store, successfully hosted an exclusive in-store event unveiling TUDOR's Watches & Wonders-Geneva 2025 collection for the first time in Doha. The private gathering took place on Wednesday, May 7 at the TUDOR Shop-in-Shop at Fifty One East, Lagoona Mall, welcoming an elite group of TUDOR enthusiasts and valued clients. Guests had the rare opportunity to be among the first in the region to view—and purchase—TUDOR's latest timepieces following their global debut in Geneva. The event underscored Fifty One East's ongoing dedication to bringing world-class luxury experiences to Qatar's discerning clientele, a commitment that has defined its partnership with TUDOR since 1951. 2025 is a big year for TUDOR, as it saw an all-new Black Bay in 43 mm featuring Master Chronometer certification and a Pelagos that's depth rated to 1000 m. The Swiss manufacturer also released a Black Bay 58 all with a burgundy dial and bezel; the Black Bay Pro with enhanced visual touches; and finally, the Black Bay Chrono model in steel with a five-link bracelet. Bader Al-Darwish, Chairman and Managing Director of Fifty One East, said: 'It was an honour to reveal TUDOR's exceptional 2025 novelties in Doha. Our relationship with the brand spans more than 70 years, and this event marked yet another milestone in our shared journey. We are proud to continue offering our clients access to the world's most exceptional timepieces in experiences as unique as the watches themselves.' TUDOR 2025 Novelties presented at the event Black Bay 58 The Black Bay 58 is named after the year in which the first TUDOR divers' watch waterproof to 200 meters was introduced. Among other aesthetic allusions to this famous historic watch, this model has a 39 mm diameter case, in keeping with the characteristic proportions of the 1950s. For the first time, the new all-burgundy Black Bay 58 also comes on a 5-link bracelet with a T-fit rapid adjustment clasp. On top of all of that, the watch also got the Master Chronometer treatment. Pelagos Ultra Exceptional tool watches and the symbol of aquatic adventure, the models in the Pelagos line are amongst the most complete traditional mechanical divers' watches available today. Engineered specifically to overcome the challenges associated with saturation diving, the new Pelagos Ultra is the most technically capable Pelagos ever made, with 1,000 meters of water resistance, a proprietary bracelet adjustment system, and a 43 mm titanium case. It represents a giant stride in technical advancements with a Master Chronometer Certification from METAS. Black Bay 68 Introducing an entirely new Black Bay model in 43 mm with two new colour configurations. The big deal is not just a brand new case size, but that the Black Bay 68 is also Master Chronometer certified by METAS. The Black Bay 68 is among the largest Black Bay models and meets the demand for various case sizes to fit all types of wrists. Black Bay Pro TUDOR offers a technical model named Black Bay Pro. It has a 39-millimetre diameter, a fixed steel bezel and a Manufacture Calibre with built-in GMT function. Building on the Black Bay Pro's robust reputation, this new version retains the 39mm diameter case, fixed steel bezel and Manufacture Calibre with built-in GMT function. A distinct new opaline dial with visual touches that make it extremely legible. Black Bay Chrono TUDOR has been producing watches that are closely tied to the world of motor sport since 1970, when the brand introduced its first chronograph. The Black Bay Chrono combines this heritage in a sport-chic chronograph, with contrasting sub-counters and a high-performance automatic Manufacture Calibre, with column wheel and vertical clutch. Celebrating decades of its chronographs, the Black Bay Chrono model in steel with a reworked case and two dial options now comes with the option of a 3-link or 5-link bracelet, both with 'T-Fit' clasp. Immersive Experiences and Activations In true TUDOR spirit, the evening offered guests an immersive brand experience that brought the 'Born to Dare' ethos to life. A live DJ performance set an upbeat tone throughout the night, while guests engaged with an interactive Push Button Reaction Wall for the chance to win exclusive TUDOR prizes. The culinary experience included elegant pass-around catering alongside red and white cotton candy and popcorn, red and black sliders and mocktails, echoing the signature colours of the TUDOR novelties on display.
