Avika Gor Announces Wedding With Fiance Milind Chandwani On Pati Patni Aur Panga

Avika Gor, known for Balika Vadhu, announced her wedding to Milind Chandwani on Pati Patni Aur Panga. She shared gratitude reflecting on her journey. Best known for her role as India's most iconic child bride in Balika Vadhu, Avika Gor is now writing her own love story — and it's nothing short of a fairytale. In a twist straight out of a dreamy saga, Avika, who once stole hearts as Anandi in Balika Vadhu, has announced her wedding to longtime partner Milind Chandwani — on COLORS, the very platform where her journey to stardom first began. Speaking about the big announcement, Avika shared, 'There's something incredibly poetic about going back to the place where it all began — with gratitude, nostalgia, and a sense of purpose. Balika Vadhu taught me, and so many people out there, the power of choice and the courage it takes to rewrite your destiny. Years later, I return to COLORS not as Anandi the balika, but as Avika Gor the woman, ready to make the choice of a lifetime." 'My fiancé, Milind, has been my partner in growth, my strongest ally, and the fellow dreamer who sees me beyond the roles and scripts. When he asked me to spend my life with him, I yelled out the easiest yes of my life. We're two imperfect people choosing to grow together, to challenge each other, and to build something real. I couldn't imagine a more fitting place to share that than here, where it all started. Announcing our wedding on Pati Patni Aur Panga is symbolic and personal," she added. 'To everyone who embraced me as the balika vadhu all those years ago, I now ask for your blessings as I become a real-life vadhu. This is my full-circle moment, and I'm so thankful I get to share it with the very people who shaped my journey," Gor concluded. The excitement surrounding the grand premiere of the channel's latest reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check is palpable, with the show promising high drama, real emotions, and unexpected moments. In the upcoming premiere episode, Avika will be seen getting emotional as she watches nostalgic clips from her early days on Balika Vadhu, with tears welling up in her eyes. But the moment quickly turns from sentimental to spectacular when the show unveils a playful surprise — an AI-generated version of a classic Balika Vadhu scene, this time with her fiancé Milind's face replacing Jagdish's. The unexpected twist sends ripples of laughter and joy through the set. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. I smiled, I cried (in that order) and screamed the easiest YES of my life! I'm full filmy — background score, slow-mo dreams, mascara running and all. He's logical, calm, and 'let's carry a first-aid kit just in case. I manifest drama. He manages it. And somehow, we just… fit. So when he asked, the heroine in me took over — arms in the air, tears in my eyes, and zero network in my brain. Because real love? It may not always be perfect. But, It. Is. Magical." Last month, the couple got engaged in a private ceremony and posted pictures from the ceremony on Instagram. Avika has been in a steady relationship with Milind for more than five years. She first introduced him to the public back in November 2020. On a related note, the upcoming reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga… Jodiyon Ka Reality Check will premiere on August 2, 2025.

Pratyusha Banerjee Had Not Left Balika Vadhu On A Good Note: 'There Were Differences'

Last Updated: Pratyusha Banerjee was found dead on April 1, 2016. Since then, her former boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been making several allegations. Pratyusha Banerjee rose to fame after she played the role of Anandi in the popular show Balika Vadhu. However, she left the show in March 2013. The actress then passed away in 2016, allegedly by suicide and ever since, her former boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has made several allegations. Now, Singh has claimed Pratyusha had not left Balika Vadhu on a good note. In a recent interview, the late actress' ex-boyfriend argued that Pratyusha quit Balika Vadhu due to 'creative differences" with the makers. Not just this, he also accused the makers of the popular show of non-payment. 'She hadn't left Balika Vadhu on a good note either. So obviously, production houses won't call you back. She told me there were creative differences with the team, too much interference from her side, they said. And then there was a payment issue with DJs. Her payment had been stuck for six months, so maybe that led to more problems. These things happen in production. Plus, her expenses were so high, her father's and mother's too, that she could never really stop working. Like we discussed earlier, they had loans to repay, so she had to keep earning. But when payments didn't come on time, she would get frustrated, and relationships in the industry would spoil. She'd call again and again, asking for her money," Singh told Bollywood Bubble. Pratyusha Banerjee died on April 1, 2016, allegedly by suicide. Following her death, her parents filed a complaint against Rahul Singh. He was booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt). In 2023, a sessions court in Mumbai rejected Singh's discharge plea. In the plea, he claimed that he was falsely implicated in the case on account of 'personal vendetta". However, the court mentioned that prima facie it was clear that 'physical, emotional and financial harassment and exploitation" by Rahul landed the Balika Vadhu actress in depression.
