The money was raised at an annual charity sporting clay shoot held in April, thanks to the participation of 250 shooters.
Barnhart employees chose the Erie Wellness Center as the fundraiser's recipient in alignment with their mission to give back to communities where they live and work.

'My legs are shaking. My heart is racing. This is probably the most incredible gift that we've received so far. Especially from an organization like Barnhart who does so much for the community. It's an honor,' said Jackie Wassel, executive director of the Erie Cancer Wellness Center.
The funds are earmarked for children's programming.
