I Never Liked Matte Foundations, Until I Tried This

When it comes to shopping for a new foundation, I have a very specific list of requirements. Not only does a foundation need to be comfortable to wear, but it needs to have the right amount of coverage to blur imperfections, while still looking like skin. Whenever a new foundation lands on my desk, I'm always intrigued. Anastasia Beverly Hills, known for its Dipbrow Pomade, contour creams, and classic eyeshadow palettes that once broke the internet (who didn't fall in love with that Soft Glam palette?), now has a new foundation that's joined the extensive roster of products. The Impeccable Blurring Second Skin Matte Foundation is advertised as 'second skin', which already makes me think I'm going to love it, but I wanted to get my hands on it and see if it really lives up to such a reputation. 1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Impeccable Blurring Second Skin Matte Foundation Described as a hydrating velvet-matte base, I have to tell you that this foundation lives up to the hype – and then some. From the first pump, you can feel that luxe, whipped texture, delivering the kind of high coverage that laughs in the face of late nights and breakouts. Despite the full coverage, it still feels like skin, thanks to hyaluronic acid, which keeps things bouncy and smooth for up to 12 hours. The blurring effect? Genuinely impressive. It melts into the skin, giving a soft-focus effect to fine lines and pores without a hint of cakiness. With 25 inclusive shades and a formula gentle enough for even dry or sensitive skin types, it's the kind of foundation that makes you wonder why you ever settled for less. It's safe to say, this new launch has found a permanent spot in my make-up routine. Gone are the days of unflattering and patchy formulas - this new foundation deserves a place in your beauty cupboard, especially if you love a flawless finish that will not budge. Tommy Dorfman Reveals 'Beautiful' Secret Affair With 13 Reason Why Co-Star

13 Reasons Why took audiences by storm when it debuted on Netflix back in 2017. Produced by Selena Gomez, the show ran for four seasons and prompted countless conversations about bullying and self-harm- and also came under fire for some particularly graphic scenes about suicide and abuse. Now, almost a decade later audiences still remember the controversial storylines as well as the talented cast- which included Tommy Dorfman as Ryan Shaver. Tommy- who came out as a transgender woman in the summer of 2021- recently released her memoir, Maybe This Will Save Me , and with it came a bombshell for fans of the show. Tommy, now 33, revealed that when the show first began filming, she had a 'short-lived' romance with Brandon Flynn, who played fellow high school student Justin Foley on the show. In her book, she detailed the second night the fresh-faced cast- which included Dylan Minette, Katherine Langford and Alisha Boe- all got together at her house. She stepped outside to smoke a cigarette when suddenly she felt an 'undeniable charge' between her and Flynn. She wrote, 'Within a few puffs, I looked over to find that Brandon had joined me. His boyish tipsy charm was intoxicating, he carried confidence with ease, and his blue eyes sparkled, perhaps this is what people meant when they said star quality. Whatever it was, Brandon embodied it.' 'We held each other's gaze for what felt like forever, and next thing I knew, we were up in his bedroom, ripping each other's clothes off,' the passage continued. 'It was lusty and fun in the most beautiful, magical of ways.' According to Dorfman, Flynn ended their romance because he was seeking 'something more serious,' while Dorfman 'couldn't offer more than casual fun.' Dorfman later married Peter Zurkuhlen in 2016, but the pair split in 2021. Later that year, Dorfman met Elise Williams on a dating app and the pair tied the knot in a secret ceremony in 2023, although she filed for divorce earlier this month. Meanwhile, Brandon had a year-long relationship with singer Sam Smith before marrying his now-husband Jordan Tannahill last year. Dorfman and Flynn's relationship wasn't the only secret affair revealed in her memoir. Although it was denied by their reps at the time, according to Dorfman's book Flynn also briefly dated their 1_3 Reasons Why_ co-star Miles Heizer- a relationship which the actress found difficult at the time. She wrote, 'Seeing Miles and Brandon so in love sparked an unexpected jealousy in me, a yearning for that excitement and fire, perhaps even more serious feelings lingered for Brandon at that time, but I couldn't do anything about it. My bed was made, and I needed to focus on the task at hand: memorising my lines.' Sarah O'Byrne has worked for Bauer Media since May 2023. She writes for Grazia, heat, Closer, Bella and Yours.

This Is Why Cameras Aren't Allowed In The Courtroom During Diddy's Trial

It seems like the entire world has been reading the multiple daily updates about the Sean 'Diddy' Combs trial, leading many to wonder why the case is not being streamed or televised. The music mogul- who goes by Sean Combs, Puffy, Puff, Puff Daddy and P. Diddy- faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution as well as a slew of civil lawsuits alleging abuse, sexual assault, and drugging over a 20-year period. Combs has denied all allegations and has pleaded not guilty in court. So far, we've already heard the testimony from the star witness- Diddy's ex-girlfriend of eleven years Cassie Ventura, who testified for nearly 20 hours over four days. Also appearing in court was singer Dawn Richard- who alleged that Diddy threatened her with violence and sexually assaulted her- and an escort Diddy allegedly paid for 'freak offs' called Daniel Phillip. That's just the beginning of the extensive list of famous names that could potentially be called to testify. However, those following the case have had to rely on court reporters' records of what is being said as cameras, phones, and any other electronic recording devices are prohibited in U.S. federal courtrooms according to the Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 53, per the United States Courts' official website. The site reads, 'Except as otherwise provided by a statute or these rules, the court must not permit the taking of photographs in the courtroom during judicial proceedings or the broadcasting of judicial proceedings from the courtroom.' Therefore, Combs's trial will not be televised or streamed anywhere online. So far, courtroom sketches have been the only way for the public to get a glimpse of the drama happening inside the courtroom. However, some courtroom recordings for high-interest proceedings are allowed with the approval of a judge. Other celebrity-centred cases over the years have allowed cameras into the courtroom- including O.J. Simpson's murder trial, Gwyneth Paltrow's ski crash trial, the Menendez brothers' murder trial, and Johnny Depp versus Amber Heard. This was because in the case of O.J. Simpson and the Menendez brothers, they were permitted to be televised due to approval from the judges presiding over the cases. As for Heard and Depp, their trial took place in Virginia and Gwyneth's took place in Utah, and both were civil cases. Sarah O'Byrne has worked for Bauer Media since May 2023. Peppa Pig: Mummy Pig Welcomes A Baby Girl With A Touching Name

In a time where we're in desperate need of some good news, here's the injection of positivity you need to hear today after the news earlier this year that Mummy Pig from Peppa Pig was pregnant- Peppa Pig's baby sister has been born! Her new sibling - a baby sister called Evie - has officially arrived. For over two decades, Peppa, her little brother George, Mummy Pig, and Daddy Pig have been a family of four, but this new addition to the show marks a big change. Baby Evie - whose gender was exclusively revealed by Grazia last month was named after Mummy Pig's aunt, and she safely delivered the piglet on the morning of Tuesday, 20th May. The news was announced by Richard Madeley on Good Morning Britain, who revealed, 'Over 60 million of you on TikTok have been following Mummy Pig and the rest of the pig family while they get ready to welcome their new addition. 'It's a beautiful thing, like I said, Daddy Pig has just shared these pictures with me of Peppa's brand new baby sister Evie named after Mummy Pig's Aunt Evie, she was born at 5:34am this morning, thankfully, just in time to watch her first ever Good Morning Britain.' Fans of the show can expect to meet the new baby on screen this autumn, but for those who can't wait, the creators of the show have also announced that an hour-long special called Peppa Meets The Baby will be released in theatres on 30 May. Grazia previously did an exclusive gender reveal shoot and interview back in April when the world learned that Peppa and George would be having a sibling. In the interview, she admitted that juggling life, work, and two little ones is made easier by Daddy Pig's input. We also asked the pressing question on everyone's mind- how, in this cost-of-living crisis, can Mummy Pig afford to have a third piglet? 'Well, that is a good question,' she answered. 'I won't say it hasn't been a concern for us – babies are expensive, and times are already quite tight. We still have lots of Peppa and George's pre-loved baby things for the new little one to use, so that helps with some of the costs – and it's very good for the planet, too!' She added, 'Granny and Grandpa Pig have already been scheduling in the days when they want to help look after the new arrival, and of course Peppa and George will still be at playgroup. Not to mention how many people have offered to babysit, as well. It takes a village to raise a little one – but luckily that's exactly what we have.' Peppa and her brother George are said to be thrilled by the arrival of their new baby sister, while Mummy and Daddy Pig are 'looking forward to lots of happy snorts and sleepless nights.'
