Terrifying moment 4x4 completely wipes out motorcyclist in shocking road rage hit & run caught on dashcam

The shocking hit-and-run, which took place in Oregon on Monday morning, was captured in now viral dashcam footage. A motorbike and 4x4 soon enter view in lanes next to each other. The biker can be seen gesturing at the vehicle's driver, although it is not clear what he was trying to say. But in a horrifying split second, the 4x4 swerves across two lanes, wiping out the motorbike and knocking its rider onto the tarmac. The vehicle then powers off into distance, weaving back into its original lane. Police shared the footage as the followed up on the incident, which took place on the Highway 26 between Highway 217 and Cedar Hills Boulevard. A driver wanted in connection to the incident was arrested later the same day. Beaverton Police Department say that Samir Helio Pazzoto-Filho was arrested on charges of first-degree attempted assault, second-degree assault, hit-and-run felony, reckless driving and unlawful use of a weapon. A tip from someone who recognised the Washington County resident's vehicle led cops to his home. When they arrived, they saw him driving a blue Kia Carnival, which is believed to be the same vehicle involved in the crash. The vehicle reportedly had damage consistent with the crash. The biker was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and has since been discharged. His first name was revealed to be Correy in a GoFundMe set up by his sister to help with his medical and motorbike repair costs. The sister wrote: "The impact was so severe that it launched him over 200 feet, and the force of the collision drove the gear shifter through his boots. "Miraculously, Correy survived. "Thanks to the kindness of nearby strangers, he was quickly transported by ambulance to the hospital and received urgent medical care. "Despite the trauma and pain, Correy is staying positive and doing his best to recover. "However, because the driver fled the scene, Correy is left with not only injuries but also the burden of medical bills and repairs to his totaled motorcycle." At time of writing, the fundraiser had gathered nearly $2,000 of its $5,000 target. Investigators believe Pazzoto-Filho had been driving recklessly in the days preceding the crash, Oregon Live has reported. Cops are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.

Oregon police are still asking the public for help tracking down the driver of the blue late-model Kia Carnival seen in the video Police in Oregon are asking for help tracking down the driver of a minivan that was seen on camera ramming into a motorcyclist during an alleged road rage incident, sending the biker flying off a U.S. highway on the morning of Monday, May 5. The Beaverton Police Department shared the shocking video on Facebook, which appears to show a motorcyclist pointing at a nearby minivan just before the minivan suddenly speeds up and swerves into the biker. The impact sends the motorcyclist and his bike off U.S. Route 26. The minivan then speeds off and passes several cars before disappearing out of frame as other drivers appear to slow down in order to stop and check on the biker, who crashed out of frame. 'The preliminary investigation suggests that the incident may have been the result of a road rage interaction between the driver of a blue late-model Kia Carnival and a motorcycle rider,' Beaverton police said in a social media post that included the video. 'The Kia sideswiped the motorcycle, causing the rider to lose control. The driver of the Kia then fled the scene. Investigators believe the driver of the Kia's actions were intentional.' Beaverton police added that 'the motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.' Portland man accused of robbing 2 Dotty's bars at gunpoint
PORTLAND, Ore. () — A Portland man was arrested on Tuesday after he was accused of committing armed robberies at two separate Dotty's bars in Washington County, authorities said. Marshall C. Richmond IV, 28, was arrested by the Beaverton Police Department and faces charges that include two counts of first-degree robbery. Investigators said they believe he may be responsible for other similar robberies in the Portland metro area. 1 dead of hypothermia in Portland Richmond is accused of entering a Dotty's in Tualatin at 19287 SW Martinazz Ave with what appeared to be a gun just after midnight on Monday morning. He allegedly ordered an employee to open the safe and register and then stole cash and lottery tickets. While Tualatin police did respond, the suspect fled on foot before they arrived and weren't able to locate him. But they did collect surveillance footage and witness descriptions of the suspect. Just after 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the second robbery happened at the Dotty's in Beaverton at 14304 SW Allen Blvd, police said. Richmond allegedly entered the store once again armed with a gun to rob it. However, an employee identified him from suspect images and was able to notify police while he was still inside. 'Officers were dispatched and arrived at the Beaverton Dotty's location within minutes. Police patrol officers called out to Richmond as he left the store. Instead of obeying officer commands to surrender, Richmond fled on foot, still armed with a handgun. Officers, with the help of a police K9 unit, were able to locate Richmond and take him into custody,' the Beaverton Police Department said in a press release.
