Dubai AI Seal Draws Global Interest from AI Companies

The certification is the city's first-of-its-kind program for trusted AI companies. So far, 325 companies operating in Dubai have applied for the certification. These include 77 international offices, reflecting wide international engagement. The 'Dubai AI Seal' offers a framework to promote trust and transparency in AI deployment. It aims to strengthen collaboration between government entities and technology providers across Dubai, the UAE, and beyond. Importantly, the initiative is open to all local, regional, and international companies licensed to operate in Dubai. Eligible participants must offer AI-based products or services, or use AI within their operations. Participation is free. Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, revealed that the initiative is part of a broader effort to attract top-tier tech firms. The goal is to build a trusted AI ecosystem in Dubai. IBM's General Manager for the Gulf, Levant & Pakistan, Shukri Eid, said the certification underscores IBM's commitment to ethical, transparent AI. He added that Dubai is helping set global standards for trustworthy AI. Dena Almansoori, Group Chief AI and Data Officer at e&, stated that the Tier S certification validates their commitment to responsible AI development. Beinex Consulting CEO Shantosh Sridhar remarked that the Dubai AI Seal reflects Dubai's leadership in AI innovation. He called it a global benchmark for the future of AI. Dr. Haidar Al Yousuf, CEO of iO Health, reported that their AI solutions aim to serve human needs, and the certification supports that mission. CEO Avneesh Prakash said the Seal recognizes their dedication to ethical AI in language and voice technologies. Prop-AI Co-founder Christian Kunz added that applying for the Seal aligns with Dubai's vision of trust and innovation. Murali Rachamalla of Rounak noted that their AI adoption aligns with UAE digital goals. Meanwhile, InnovaSense CEO Bahman Kazemian called the Seal a gold standard for ethical AI. Finally, CSP Solutions Managing Director Rabeeh Abla stated that the Seal reflects their commitment to building secure, ethical AI in line with the UAE's digital vision. The Dubai AI Seal continues to position the emirate as a global hub for responsible AI development.
