The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence has announced strong global interest in the 'Dubai AI Seal.' The certification is the city's first-of-its-kind program for trusted AI companies.
So far, 325 companies operating in Dubai have applied for the certification. These include 77 international offices, reflecting wide international engagement.
The 'Dubai AI Seal' offers a framework to promote trust and transparency in AI deployment. It aims to strengthen collaboration between government entities and technology providers across Dubai, the UAE, and beyond.
Importantly, the initiative is open to all local, regional, and international companies licensed to operate in Dubai. Eligible participants must offer AI-based products or services, or use AI within their operations.
Participation is free. Applications can be submitted via www.dub.ai/ai-seal.
The first certified companies were recognized during Dubai AI Week. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with representatives of these enterprises. He is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dubai Future Foundation.

Each certified company receives a unique serial number and classification tier. The certification is set to become a prerequisite for government-led AI initiatives and projects. Additionally, certified companies may display the Dubai AI Seal across their digital and promotional platforms.
Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, revealed that the initiative is part of a broader effort to attract top-tier tech firms. The goal is to build a trusted AI ecosystem in Dubai.
IBM's General Manager for the Gulf, Levant & Pakistan, Shukri Eid, said the certification underscores IBM's commitment to ethical, transparent AI. He added that Dubai is helping set global standards for trustworthy AI.
Dena Almansoori, Group Chief AI and Data Officer at e&, stated that the Tier S certification validates their commitment to responsible AI development.
Beinex Consulting CEO Shantosh Sridhar remarked that the Dubai AI Seal reflects Dubai's leadership in AI innovation. He called it a global benchmark for the future of AI.
Dr. Haidar Al Yousuf, CEO of iO Health, reported that their AI solutions aim to serve human needs, and the certification supports that mission.
CAMB.AI CEO Avneesh Prakash said the Seal recognizes their dedication to ethical AI in language and voice technologies.
Prop-AI Co-founder Christian Kunz added that applying for the Seal aligns with Dubai's vision of trust and innovation.
Murali Rachamalla of Rounak noted that their AI adoption aligns with UAE digital goals. Meanwhile, InnovaSense CEO Bahman Kazemian called the Seal a gold standard for ethical AI.
Finally, CSP Solutions Managing Director Rabeeh Abla stated that the Seal reflects their commitment to building secure, ethical AI in line with the UAE's digital vision.
The Dubai AI Seal continues to position the emirate as a global hub for responsible AI development.

World Police Summit Draws Global Law Enforcement Leaders to Dubai in Record-Breaking Edition
The fourth edition of the World Police Summit, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brought together over 53,000 participants from more than 110 countries—making it the largest edition to date and marking a 300% increase in attendance from last year. A total of 302 speakers and 922 experts contributed to discussions that underscored Dubai's growing role in international security collaboration. The summit also served as a hub for strategic partnerships, with 38 memoranda of understanding signed among police forces, tech firms, and academic institutions. More than 900 individuals competed in the World Police Summit Awards, with 12 winners honoured on the final day. 'This year's turnout and impact have far exceeded expectations,' said Lt. Col. Dr. Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafri, Secretary-General of the Summit. 'The summit has become a vital platform for international police cooperation and innovation.' Dubai has secured the prestigious role of hosting the 2026 International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA), further cementing its status as a global cultural and creative hub. The announcement came at the close of this year's ISEA event in Seoul, South Korea, recognising Dubai's vibrant arts scene, world-class infrastructure, and commitment to innovation. The bid was championed by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and Zayed University. Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture, highlighted the significance of this achievement, stating it reflects Dubai's growing influence in the global art and digital innovation sectors. She attributed the city's cultural ascent to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. ISEA, founded in 1988 and currently managed by the University for the Creative Arts in the UK, is a leading international platform where artists, technologists, and academics converge to explore the intersection of art, science, and technology. UAE launches AI leadership training to drive government innovation
The UAE has launched the Chief AI Officers' Training Programme, aiming to upskill AI leaders across federal government entities, ensuring sustained progress in adopting and developing smart solutions. The two-week training programme will combine academic theory with practical experience. It will equips chief AI officers with a deep understanding of the latest AI trends, governance models and sector-specific applications, empowering them to lead projects within their respective entities. The curriculum will also cover ethical, regulatory, and technical considerations related to AI implementation, while fostering innovative thinking and strategic vision. Delivered by international experts and academics, the programme will enhance dialogue between UAE AI executives and global thought leaders to exchange insights and best practices. Participants will engage in modules covering the fundamentals and frontiers of AI, including governance, generative AI, machine learning, big data and economics of AI. Sessions will also explore real-world use cases in key sectors such as health, cybersecurity, energy, urban development, government services and entrepreneurship. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, stated that equipping leaders with the right tools and knowledge will "drive a culture of positive transformation, fuel national ambitions and empower leaders capable of driving innovation." The chief AI officers were nominated following the UAE Cabinet's approval, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to formally establish the role across federal ministries and government entities. The selection was based on the candidates' ability to navigate the rapidly evolving technological landscape and their readiness to integrate AI into government operations.
