Bella Robertson says she ‘found a lot of faith' as she details fertility struggles

Bella Robertson is sharing more about her and her husband's story. The 22-year-old 'Duck Dynasty' star recently appeared on an episode of her sister Sadie Robertson's 'WHOA That's Good' podcast to discuss her decision to open up about her fertility journey. The episode is set to be released June 25, but Sadie Robertson shared a sneak peek on Instagram. 'I am so proud of you because I know how nervous you were to do this podcast,' Sadie Robertson says to her sister, who admitted to the nerves earlier in the June 23 clip. 'This is the first time I'm sharing about it publicly,' Bella Robertson added on the podcast. Bella Robertson first opened up about her fertility struggles in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, published May 21, two weeks before the premiere of her family's new show, 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival.' Her and her husband, Jacob Mayo, talk openly about their pregnancy journey in the show. 'I think a lot of people wait until after they're through something to share about it,' Bella Robertson says on her sister's podcast. 'So it was a very big decision to choose to do this now and not wait.' Bella Robertson goes on to admit that she didn't want her life or story to be defined by this one situation. 'I think just the whole, like, 'Oh, don't worry about it,' can be very insensitive. The loneliness when someone else gets pregnant. It's like, 'That's one more person…'' she adds on the podcast. Despite the couple's struggles, Bella Robertson is holding onto hope. 'In not finding answers, we found a lot of faith and a lot of strength in Christ,' she continued. In the caption of her Instagram post, Sadie Robertson described her sister's story as 'powerful.' 'I've never been more proud of my sister. Watching her walk through something so painful with so much faith, honesty, and strength is nothing short of powerful,' she wrote of Bella Robertson. 'She's allowing her story to speak into so many others, and I believe it's going to relate to so many,' she added. Sadie Robertson, who is expecting her third baby with her husband Christian Huff, further comforted her sister on the podcast. 'Every single person walking through what you're walking through is crying with you and you are giving them the hope that they're not alone,' she said of Bella Robertson. Bella Robertson says sharing her story now 'felt right' Bella Robertson, the youngest daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson, and Jacob Mayo started dating in 2020 and announced their engagement later that year, according to KVUE. The couple tied the knot on June 5, 2021 on Willie and Korie Robertson's family farm in Louisiana. On June 23, a few weeks after the couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, Bella Robertson took to her Instagram Stories to talk more about her decision to share her fertility story. 'Such a scary and vulnerable place to be sharing such a hard and private part of our lives,' she wrote alongside a clip from her sister's podcast. In a separate post, she admitted that sharing her story wasn't a part of her original plan. 'Selfishly I wanted to keep it to myself,' she wrote in a Story. '(God) has done such a work in me and shown me how much of a blessing it is to not keep hidden what so many women go through,' she added. While talking to Us Weekly in May, the pair opened up about wanting to start a family. 'I think what we've learned in marriage—and you'll see in our story in the show—is that I wish getting pregnant and having kids was as easy as people act like it is,' Mayo told the outlet, per E! News. He went on to argue that if having a child was easy, he and Bella Robertson would've already done it. 'Just, 'Oh, I can just pop out a kid' or 'If we want to wait, we get to choose to wait.' It's not that transactional of a thing,' he explained. 'If it was easy or if it was easy not to, we would.' Bella Robertson added: '(When) people comment about us having kids, we're like, 'Trust me, you don't have to ask us.'' As for why they decided to talk about it now, Bella Robertson says it wasn't an easy decision to make. 'I don't think we necessarily intended on sharing it even, but it felt right. … This is just one of the ways that we are showing up and being our authentic selves on this new show,' she explained. 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival' premiered on June 1. The show airs every Sunday on A&E at 9 p.m. ET.

Willie Robertson's wild Bigfoot hunt ends with unexpected twist in 'Duck Dynasty' revival

In the third episode of "Duck Dynasty: The Revival," the Robertson family were exposed to their own fears of the unknown. The episode kicked off with Willie Robertson and "Duck Dynasty" OG Silas Merritt "Si" Robertson continuing their search for Bigfoot. Willie called in help from "Blurry Creatures" podcast hosts, Luke and Nathan, who specialize in chasing "down answers for the weird questions and enigmatic creatures that inhabit the fringes between reality, myth, and imagination," according to their podcast's description. Si was certain that he had seen Bigfoot as recently as a month before the episode was filmed. "I saw a presence behind me," he told the group before claiming that Bigfoot was between 8–10 feet tall with bright-colored eyes. Willie had been hesitant to believe Si in his Bigfoot sighting but admitted that finding the creature would be lucrative, so he gave hunting him down a fair shot. Elsewhere in the Robertson family, Willie's daughter, Bella, was doing some hunting of her own. Over at Duck Commander, there was a "snack thief" that she was adamant about catching. Bella set up a trap in the break room to find the thief, but was unlucky until her father ratted himself out. She laid out a bunch of beef jerky bags in the break room and Willie was seen later in the episode snacking on them. Willie's other daughter, Sadie, discovered that she was pregnant during the episode, right before traveling to Texas A&M University to lead a Breakaway bible study. Breakaway is a "non-denominational bible study located on the campus," according to its website. Her husband, Christian, was surprised by the news. The couple already share two young daughters, Honey and Haven. They announced the pregnancy on Instagram in February, writing, "Our hearts are so full. Another little love joining the Huff family." At the end of the episode, Willie planned a camping trip with his sons, John Luke and Will. One of his grandsons also made an appearance. Willie shared that he learned how to lure in Bigfoot. The group needed a campfire, flute music, a child for "bait" and singing. So, the group did just that. "There's always a lot to fear with the unknown, whether that's a monster in the woods, a snack thief or even a new phase in life, but having a close-knit family to face all the unknowns of life makes everything a little less scary." Goodwin of Duck Commander dressed up in a Bigfoot suit and ran near the group's campfire to spook Willie, and it worked. At the end of the episode, he admitted that he didn't think the group was going to find Bigfoot, so a lucrative documentary that Si pitched was out the window. But now that he's "officially semi-retired," he tossed around the idea that he may create a fictional Bigfoot movie. The final scene of the episode was a Robertson family dinner. At this point, Sadie had decided to keep her pregnancy a secret, with only her husband and mom, Korie Robertson, knowing. "There's always a lot to fear with the unknown, whether that's a monster in the woods, a snack thief or even a new phase in life, but having a close-knit family to face all the unknowns of life makes everything a little less scary. The memories we make are worth their weight in gold, way more than Big Foot merchandise," Willie said to close out the episode. The A&E show aired its first episode on June 1, showing Willie, Korie and their children and grandchildren transitioning into the new "Duck Dynasty" chapter. Willie is currently the CEO of the Duck Commander hunting company, which Phil Robertson founded in 1972 and was a vital part of the original "Duck Dynasty" series. The television show premiered 40 years later, in 2012, and ended in 2017. The new series debuted shortly after the family announced Phil's death. Phil had been dealing with severe health problems leading up to his passing in May. The Robertson family will also appear in FOX Nation's Duck Family Treasure series that premiered on Sunday, June 15th.

Duck Dynasty's Bella Robertson, 22, reveals her struggle with infertility

People have been asking Duck Dynasty: The Revival star Bella Robertson Mayo and her husband Jacob Mayo when they're planning to have children ever since their 2021 wedding. '[When] people comment about us having kids, we're like, "Trust me, you don't have to ask us,"' the 22-year-old nepo baby of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson told Us Weekly on Wednesday. 'We share a story of infertility in the show and that's something that we haven't really shared publicly that much, but that's something that others just don't know. When you just look at someone on social media, you can't know what anyone's going through.' Not getting pregnant has been beyond frustrating for Bella, whose big sister Sadie is currently expecting her third child with husband Christian Huff. The 25-year-old General Vintage owner wishes 'getting pregnant and having kids was as easy as people act like it is.' 'Just, "Oh, I can just pop out a kid" or "If we want to wait, we get to choose to wait." It's not that transactional of a thing,' Jacob noted. 'When people say stuff, it's just like if it was easy or if it was easy not to, we would. But it's not that simple I would say.' On June 5, the high school sweethearts - who share two adorable fur-babies - will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary. Before Mayo, Bella dated Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure's son Lev for two years spanning 2018-2020. Robertson was only 10 years old when she made her first appearance on A&E's reality show Duck Dynasty, which aired for 11 seasons spanning 2012-2017.
