Bella Robertson says she ‘found a lot of faith' as she details fertility struggles
The 22-year-old 'Duck Dynasty' star recently appeared on an episode of her sister Sadie Robertson's 'WHOA That's Good' podcast to discuss her decision to open up about her fertility journey.
The episode is set to be released June 25, but Sadie Robertson shared a sneak peek on Instagram.
'I am so proud of you because I know how nervous you were to do this podcast,' Sadie Robertson says to her sister, who admitted to the nerves earlier in the June 23 clip.
'This is the first time I'm sharing about it publicly,' Bella Robertson added on the podcast.
Bella Robertson first opened up about her fertility struggles in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, published May 21, two weeks before the premiere of her family's new show, 'Duck Dynasty: The Revival.'
Her and her husband, Jacob Mayo, talk openly about their pregnancy journey in the show.
'I think a lot of people wait until after they're through something to share about it,' Bella Robertson says on her sister's podcast. 'So it was a very big decision to choose to do this now and not wait.'
Bella Robertson goes on to admit that she didn't want her life or story to be defined by this one situation.
'I think just the whole, like, 'Oh, don't worry about it,' can be very insensitive. The loneliness when someone else gets pregnant. It's like, 'That's one more person…'' she adds on the podcast.
Despite the couple's struggles, Bella Robertson is holding onto hope.
'In not finding answers, we found a lot of faith and a lot of strength in Christ,' she continued.
In the caption of her Instagram post, Sadie Robertson described her sister's story as 'powerful.'
'I've never been more proud of my sister. Watching her walk through something so painful with so much faith, honesty, and strength is nothing short of powerful,' she wrote of Bella Robertson.
'She's allowing her story to speak into so many others, and I believe it's going to relate to so many,' she added.
Sadie Robertson, who is expecting her third baby with her husband Christian Huff, further comforted her sister on the podcast.
'Every single person walking through what you're walking through is crying with you and you are giving them the hope that they're not alone,' she said of Bella Robertson.
Bella Robertson says sharing her story now 'felt right'
Bella Robertson, the youngest daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson, and Jacob Mayo started dating in 2020 and announced their engagement later that year, according to KVUE.
The couple tied the knot on June 5, 2021 on Willie and Korie Robertson's family farm in Louisiana.
On June 23, a few weeks after the couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, Bella Robertson took to her Instagram Stories to talk more about her decision to share her fertility story.
'Such a scary and vulnerable place to be sharing such a hard and private part of our lives,' she wrote alongside a clip from her sister's podcast.
In a separate post, she admitted that sharing her story wasn't a part of her original plan.
'Selfishly I wanted to keep it to myself,' she wrote in a Story. '(God) has done such a work in me and shown me how much of a blessing it is to not keep hidden what so many women go through,' she added.
While talking to Us Weekly in May, the pair opened up about wanting to start a family.
'I think what we've learned in marriage—and you'll see in our story in the show—is that I wish getting pregnant and having kids was as easy as people act like it is,' Mayo told the outlet, per E! News.
He went on to argue that if having a child was easy, he and Bella Robertson would've already done it.
'Just, 'Oh, I can just pop out a kid' or 'If we want to wait, we get to choose to wait.' It's not that transactional of a thing,' he explained. 'If it was easy or if it was easy not to, we would.'
Bella Robertson added: '(When) people comment about us having kids, we're like, 'Trust me, you don't have to ask us.''
As for why they decided to talk about it now, Bella Robertson says it wasn't an easy decision to make.
'I don't think we necessarily intended on sharing it even, but it felt right. … This is just one of the ways that we are showing up and being our authentic selves on this new show,' she explained.
'Duck Dynasty: The Revival' premiered on June 1. The show airs every Sunday on A&E at 9 p.m. ET.

Here's Why Alex Cooper and Alix Earle Are Feuding
For the past six months, the internet has been convinced that podcast girlies Alex Cooper and Alix Earle are beefing—and now, Alix basically just confirmed as much. Quick background: Alix Earle's Hot Mess podcast—which launched in September 2023 as a 'weekly recap of her life revealing all the in-depth, exclusive details that has everyone watching, talking, and wanting more'—was dropped by Alex Cooper's Unwell Network back in February. The move came amid fans noticing that Alix skipped Unwell's Super Bowl being in New Orleans. At the time, multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly that Alex and Alix were 'at odds,' with one insider telling the outlet that "there's a lot of tension." Per a second insider: 'They've had a lot of drama between them [since] they decided to collaborate on Unwell. They clashed over business, and their friendship is over because of it.' The plot thickened in March, when Alex took to TikTok to dispel feud rumors, claiming Unwell Network had nothing to do with Hot Mess ending. (This was seemingly done in response to Alix's Wall Street Journal interview, where she talked about the production politics that led to the show's hiatus.) 'Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do Unwell," she wrote. '[I don't know] why she can't/what's going on.' She added that 'Unwell gave [Alix] everything back' and that Alix 'owns her IP.' The latest: On August 1, Alix posted a TikTok, where she alluded to wanting to 'start some shit.' She added, 'Lowkey, is this my time that I've been waiting for? I have so much information.' A fan then slid into her comments to write, 'Yes tell us what happened with Alex Cooper,' to which Alix replied, 'How much time do you have?' Alex has yet to respond to this latest shade, but I'm sat and ready for when it happens!

As close friends and family members of the late Hulk Hogan came together to say their final goodbyes to the famous wrestler, some of the most prominent names in sports entertainment, music and podcasting showed up to pay their respects. According to an insider who spoke exclusively to Us Weekly, Hulk (real name Terry Bollea) was honored via a funeral service in Largo, Florida, on Tuesday, August 5. Per photos obtained by TMZ, rocker Kid Rock, WWE superstar and current chief content officer of the organization Triple H, his wife, Stephanie McMahon, and popular podcaster Theo Von were all in attendance. Form CEO Vince McMahon, Ric Flair and Dennis Rodman were also reportedly present for the service. Hulk's wife, Sky Daily, as well as ex-wife Linda Hogan were also in attendance, per additional photos obtained by the outlet. Hogan's funeral service comes one week after the famed wrestler died on July 24 at age 71. According to court docs obtained by Us on July 31, Hogan's cause of death was ruled as acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. The same report revealed that Hogan had Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a form of cancer that affects white blood cells. It is not publicly known when, if ever, the former WWE star was formally diagnosed. Hulk Hogan's Family and Friends Remember Wrestling Legend During Memorial Service in Florida 'Even In Heaven, He Sold Out Again. The Most Beautiful Funeral I've Ever Attended! EVERYONE Was There," Flair wrote via X on Tuesday. "From @KidRock, To @TripleH, To @VinceMcMahon, To @dennisrodman. The Whole World Showed Up To Pay Respect To The Greatest Of Them All! Rest In Peace Hulkster!' Courtesy of Linda Hogan/Instagram Getty Images (4) On the day of her father's funeral, Hulk's daughter, Brooke Hogan, shared her skepticism over her father's death and the subsequent revelation that he had a form of cancer. 'That's what has me puzzled because they're saying, 'Oh, he had leukemia," Brooke, 37, said during the Tuesday episode of the radio show Bubba The Love Sponge. 'And I'm like, 'I saw his blood work every time [he had a past surgery].' She continued, 'One doctor, I quote, said, 'His blood is like a 25-year-old's.'' Craig Ambrosio/WWE/Getty Images At the time of publication it is unknown if Brooke attended her father's funeral, as they were estranged at the time of his death. On Tuesday, Brooke wrote via her Instagram Stories, 'Taking our babies to your favorite place today, the beach. We will be celebrating your life and all our good memories while we have our feet in the same saltwater you loved. Until we meet again, daddy.' In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Hogan's eight pallbearers paid special tribute to the star via their attire — black suits featuring bright yellow roses, an apparent ode to the wrestler's iconic bright yellow and red wrestling outfits. Hogan is survived by Sky, who he married in September 2023, his son, Nick Hogan, Brooke and her two children, twins Oliver and Andrew. The Sweet Way Hulk Hogan's Pallbearers Paid Tribute to the Late Wrestler During His Funeral 'He was the most kind, loving and amazing father anybody could ask for,' Nick, 35, wrote via Instagram following his father's death, going on to call him his 'hero.' 'I feel so blessed to have had the greatest dad in the world,' he continued. 'He was not only the best dad but also my mentor and my best friend. He always has been my best friend and I love him and miss him more than I could ever explain.'
