Mancherial: Panchayat Raj and District In-charge Minister D Anasuya (Seethakka) said that the authorities should take collective steps to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes provided by the government reach everyone who is eligible. On Saturday, at the conference hall of the Integrated District Offices in Naspur, Mancherial, along with the Collectors of Mancherial, Kumrambheem Asifabad, Adilabad, and Nirmal, and others she held a review meeting on Bhu Bharathi, Indiramma Indlu, Yasangi paddy procurement, and Kharif cultivation preparations. Speaking on the occasion, the minister assured that the soaked paddy will be purchased as per the rules and that the farmers need not worry. 'Revenue conferences will be held in all mandals from June 3 to 20 and applications on land issues will be received under Bhu Bharati Act,' she said. The Minister instructed the officials to prepare for Kharif-2025 cultivation, take steps to ensure that seeds and fertilizers are available as required due to the arrival of the southwest monsoon, and take strict action against those who sell them at high prices and create artificial shortages. In view of the commencement of the Academic year on June 12, the Minister suggested that schools and hostels should be prepared, that special attention should be paid to Anganwadi centers and chickpeas be given to adolescent children for nutritional purposes.

Khammam: Deputy Chief Minister M Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday along with ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy; MP R Raghuram Reddy; MLAs; public representatives; and District Collectors of the joint Khammam district reviewed various government schemes' implementation in the district. This included Indiramma Housing, Bhu Bharathi, paddy purchase, monsoon health action plan, and advance cultivation of the Agriculture Department. Addressing the meeting, Bhatti ordered police to take strict action against those selling fake seeds. 'The investment of lakhs of rupees and hard work of farmers will be wasted due to fake seeds,' he said. He urged officials to take necessary cooperation should from Andhra Pradesh and curb fake seeds. The Dy CM lauded record level of grain purchase in the joint Khammam district and completion of payments to farmers. He said that steps should be taken to resolve the land problems of the people with the Bhu Bharati Act. He said that awareness programmes have been organised in mandals to educate people about the Act. During the meeting, the minister urged officials to host State Formation Day celebrations on a grand note. 'Along with national flag hoisting in the morning, celebrations and cultural programmes should be organised at the Assembly constituency headquarters in the evening,' said Bhatti. Meanwhile, Komatireddy said that in the wake of early arrival of monsoon, fertilisers and seeds required for cultivation of the season should be kept ready.

NALGONDA: Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Thursday said that the state government will construct 20 lakh Indiramma houses and hand them over to beneficiaries in the next four years. Addressing the gathering after inaugurating a model Indiramma house constructed on the premises of Nakrekal Mandal Parishad Development Office (MPDO) in Nalgonda district, Srinivasa Reddy said that the primary objective of building Indiramma houses was to empower the poor. 'In the first phase, houses are being allocated to those who do not have a house or cannot even build a wall,' he said and added that houses will be provided to all eligible beneficiaries in phases 'In the first phase, 3,500 houses are allocated to each constituency. This will be followed by three more phases. A total of 20 lakh houses will be constructed across the state at a cost of `5 lakh each,' he added. The minister said that the Bhu Bharathi Act, introduced by Telangana to solve all land-related problems, will be a role model for the entire country. New tahsildar office building in Nakrekal Stating that Nakrekal mandal has been selected for implementation of Bhu Bharathi on a pilot basis, he said all the pending land issues in the mandal will be resolved soon. Responding to a request made by Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham, the Revenue minister sanctioned a new tahsildar office building for the mandal. Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the state government has started two prestigious initiatives -- Bhu Bharathi and Indiramma housing scheme. 'With these initiatives, the government intends to resolve all land related problems and build houses for all beneficiaries in every constituency,' he said. Meanwhile, District Collector Ila Tripathi said that Indiramma Committees have been formed in every village and a gazetted officer appointed for every 200 houses to conduct a survey and prepare the list of beneficiaries, which is then approved by the in-charge minister. 'In Nalgonda district, the first installment of `1 lakh each has been deposited in bank accounts of 167 beneficiaries. The second installment of `2 lakh will be deposited in the accounts of those whose house construction has reached the pillar stage,' the collector added.

HYDERABAD: The National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) Telangana on Wednesday extended its support to the government's initiative of Bhu Bharati portal and BuildNow application. Speaking to the media here, the NAREDCO members asserted that the Bhu Bharti portal will serve as a restructured and more efficient version of Dharani portal, addressing challenges by simplifying processes, correcting legacy errors and improving public confidence in land ownership records. They said that Bhu Bharati is a modernised Record of Rights (RoR) system that provides clean and verified land titles essential for reducing legal risks and supporting developers in making secure, informed investment decisions. NAREDCO president Vijaya Sai Meka said: 'The Bhu Bharathi initiative marks a significant stride toward a transparent and efficient land administration system in Telangana. Alongside this, the BuildNow application is set to streamline building and layout approvals, further easing project execution for developers". "NAREDCO Telangana believes this initiative will bring immense value to developers, investors and buyers alike. The Council is committed to working closely with the government to ensure that the real estate sector maximises the benefits of this progressive reform,' he added. He further said that the Bhu Bharati portal was a vital reform aimed at transforming the state's land governance framework. The core objective of this initiative is to establish a transparent, efficient and legally robust land administration system that strengthens land security, reduces disputes, and simplifies property transactions, he added. The Council also urged the government to maintain an open channel of communication with industry stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation, ongoing improvements and user-friendly access to the Bhu Bharathi platform. Such collaboration is essential to positioning Telangana as a model for land reforms that not only support economic development but also build a future-ready and investor-friendly real estate environment, the members said.

Hyderabad: Amidst nearly two lakh Dharani applications from land owners and farmers awaiting clearance for land-related problems by District Collectors and several writ petitions filed in the Court against Dharani's non-resolution mechanism, real estate developers are pinning hopes on Bhu Bharati, the new land records portal, for increasing investor confidence in emerging and semi-urban corridors of Telangana. Naredco (National Real Estate Development Council) Telangana, a real estate representative body, said that consultative approach and stage-wise implementation of Bhu Bharathi, currently in Beta testing phase in three districts, will address problems that arose with introduction of Dharani portal. President of Naredco Telangana, Vijaya Sai Meka told Bizz Buzz that the government is also mulling to conduct Revenue meetings at Mandal level wherein Dharani complainants can personally represent their land record-related case resulting in getting it resolved at the State level, itself.
