
Telangana government to construct 20 lakh Indiramma houses in four years: Minister Ponguleti
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating a model Indiramma house constructed on the premises of Nakrekal Mandal Parishad Development Office (MPDO) in Nalgonda district, Srinivasa Reddy said that the primary objective of building Indiramma houses was to empower the poor.
'In the first phase, houses are being allocated to those who do not have a house or cannot even build a wall,' he said and added that houses will be provided to all eligible beneficiaries in phases
'In the first phase, 3,500 houses are allocated to each constituency. This will be followed by three more phases. A total of 20 lakh houses will be constructed across the state at a cost of `5 lakh each,' he added.
The minister said that the Bhu Bharathi Act, introduced by Telangana to solve all land-related problems, will be a role model for the entire country.
New tahsildar office building in Nakrekal
Stating that Nakrekal mandal has been selected for implementation of Bhu Bharathi on a pilot basis, he said all the pending land issues in the mandal will be resolved soon.
Responding to a request made by Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham, the Revenue minister sanctioned a new tahsildar office building for the mandal.
Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the state government has started two prestigious initiatives -- Bhu Bharathi and Indiramma housing scheme.
'With these initiatives, the government intends to resolve all land related problems and build houses for all beneficiaries in every constituency,' he said.
Meanwhile, District Collector Ila Tripathi said that Indiramma Committees have been formed in every village and a gazetted officer appointed for every 200 houses to conduct a survey and prepare the list of beneficiaries, which is then approved by the in-charge minister.
'In Nalgonda district, the first installment of `1 lakh each has been deposited in bank accounts of 167 beneficiaries. The second installment of `2 lakh will be deposited in the accounts of those whose house construction has reached the pillar stage,' the collector added.

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday instructed officials to prepare a detailed plan for allocation of Bhudhaar numbers for lands across the state. During a review meeting he held with the officials of the Revenue and Housing departments at the Command Control Centre here, the chief minister enquired about the status of the applications received during the recently held revenue meetings and instructed the officials to develop a mechanism for speedy completion of mutations and registration of inherited properties. The surveys conducted by the licensed surveyors and the scrutiny of reports was also discussed at the meeting. The officials were ordered to complete the scrutiny process expeditiously with the help of regular surveys. The officials briefed the chief minister about the plans to construct integrated sub-registrar offices. Revanth reviewed the design of the 10 new sub-registrar offices to be constructed soon in the Core Urban Areas. He suggested that facilities like parking, canteen and other basic infrastructure be provided at these offices for the convenience of visitors. The CM stressed that these offices should be people-friendly. Indiramma houses inauguration soon When officials informed him about the completion of Indiramma houses in several districts across the state, the CM instructed the authorities concerned to make arrangements for their inauguration by the end of August. He also asked officials to resolve the problems in the joint venture projects taken up by the Housing Board in Hyderabad. CM asks officials to prepare plans for allotting Bhudhaar numbers to lands
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed the Revenue department officials to prepare plans for allotting Bhudhaar numbers to all land parcels across the State. Bhudhaar numbers, on the lines of Aadhaar numbers given to citizens, are contemplated to ensure that all the land parcels are given specific identification numbers carrying information like their exact coordinates and ownership details. The Chief Minister gave the instructions during a review meeting on the functioning of Revenue and Housing departments with senior officials on Wednesday. He wanted the officials to expedite clearance of applications for hereditary and other forms of mutations received during Revenue Sadassus held earlier. This should be followed survey of land by licenced surveyors.. The records prepared by licenced surveyors should be scrutinised by regular surveyors subsequently. He examined the models of the new offices buildings to house the offices of the sub-registrars in 10 core urban areas during the meeting. The new offices should have parking places, canteen and other basic infrastructure, he said. The sub-registrar offices should be designed in such a manner that they were people-friendly and avoid scope for any inconvenience to the visitors. Officials informed the Chief Minister that construction of houses under Indiramma weaker section housing scheme was completed in different districts across the State. Mr. Revanth Reddy instructed them to take steps for their formal inauguration by this month-end. In this context, he directed the Revenue officials to ensure resolution of problems in the projects the department took up in the State Capital in collaboration with the State Housing Board.
