Alexander Skarsgard 'adores' Nicole Kidman

Alexander Skarsgard "adores" Nicole Kidman. The 48-year-old actor played the Oscar-winning star's abusive husband in 'Big Little Lies' and they went on to work together again in 'The Northman', in which she played his character's incestuous mother and he has praised Nicole as "one of the greatest" performers in the industry. He told Observer magazine: "I adore her. My experience on 'Big Little Lies' is what made us approach Nicole for 'The Northman'. "It was incredibly difficult on 'Big Little Lies' to explore that intense, abusive relationship with Nicole but she's one of the greatest out there for a reason. She's so committed, generous and ego-free. She does whatever serves the scene. "There was no question we wanted her as Amleth's mother in 'The Northman', which is another very complicated, dark relationship." The pair are keen to work together again in the future but would rather a lighter project. Alexander said: "After that, Nicole and I basically said: Let's do something else together but without any incest or abuse. Maybe a light romcom. Perhaps we could play siblings who open a cake shop together." Alexander's brothers, Gustaf, Bill and Valter are also actors and he is thankful they don't go out for similar roles. Asked if they are competitive with one another, he said: "No. Maybe it would be different if we went up for the same role, but we don't really. "Imagine if we were all reading the same script, getting excited about the same part, then one of us got it but the others didn't. You'd hear about it at every family dinner for years." The 'Succession' star is relieved he found success before the "nepo baby" tag became so widespread, but admitted his association with his dad, screen legend Stellan Skarsgard, has resulted in him grappling with imposter syndrome over the years. He said: " I don't know if it's harder today but it's probably more annoying. You have to discuss it more. "When I first started, people still compared me to my father or asked if I got jobs because of my last name. "I definitely questioned that as well in times of insecurity. 20 years later, I still have imposter syndrome moments when I'm like, 'I probably wouldn't have gotten this if it hadn't been for my dad. F***! Am I any good?'

James Gunn is giving his take on the iconic character with his DC feature 'Superman,' starring David Corenswet as the title character. Gunn, who is the co-CEO of DC Studios with Peter Safran, wrote the feature which is decidedly not an origin story about Clark Kent embracing his alienhood to save the world. There will be plenty of world saving, but he is already well known to his colleague and love interest Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) and nemesis Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult). Shailene Woodley and Lucas Bravo take next step in new romance: Instagram soft launch

Shailene Woodley and 'Emily in Paris' heartthrob Lucas Bravo are Instagram official, even if it may not look like it upon first glance. The pair of actors soft-launched their relationship in separate posts documenting their recent trips to multiple Southern California destinations. Woodley, 33, and Bravo, 37, first sparked romance rumors in March when they were spotted getting cozy with each other during a stroll in Paris. On Wednesday, Bravo posted a carousel of photos and videos capturing his time at the Stagecoach festival in Indio and his views during a pit stop at the vibrant landmarks of Slab City. Bravo included photos of his hand holding Woodley's, snaps of the 'Fault in Our Stars' actor with friends at Stagecoach and pictures of the environmental activist sitting and standing among Salvation Mountain's eclectic artworks. Woodley on Sunday offered her take at a soft launch and added some 'Star Wars' flare. The 'Big Little Lies' actor shared her own Instagram carousel of photos of a recent trip to Disneyland, specifically the attractions in the park's Galaxy's Edge area. 'May the 4th be...' she captioned her photos of the park's large set pieces, intricate facades — and a picture of Bravo walking in front of the Millennium Falcon. In true soft-launch fashion, neither of the actors tagged the other nor made their romance the focal point of their respective posts. Woodley and Bravo have kept their romance low-key for the most part, but in an April interview with People, the latter said 'I'm really happy' about the new relationship. 'Divergent' star Woodley was previously engaged to NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers. That engagement broke off in February 2022.

Lucas Bravo goes Instagram official with Shailene Woodley

Lucas Bravo and Shailene Woodley have made their relationship Instagram official. The 'Emily in Paris' actor confirmed his romance with the 'Big Little Lies' star last month, weeks after they were first linked, and now he has given fans a glimpse into their life together. Lucas, 37, shared a carousel of photos on Instagram from a visit to Slab City, California, which included pictures of Salvation Mountain and other pieces of art, as well intimate moments of himself and Shailene walking through the desert holding hands, posing for a selfie in cowboy hats and smiling with Sofi Tukker member Sophie Hawley-Weld. The post was simply captioned: 'Howdy Slab City.' Lucas confirmed the relationship on 4 April. He told People magazine: 'Yeah, I'm really happy.' He and 33-year-old Shailene first sparked speculation they were together when they were photographed out walking in Paris, France. Lucas could be seen smoking a cigarette with his arm around the 'Divergent' star, who held his hand. Shailene was previously engaged to Aaron Rodgers and she previously spoke of how she slipped into depression when her romance with the NFL quarterback ended in 2022. Speaking to Outside magazine as their Outsider of the Year, Shailene reflected on the "really awful, traumatic thing" that "happened in early 2022,' which the outlet linked to her split from Aaron. She said: 'I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy. I really understood depression and anxiety and, like, complete soul detachment. "I knew I was depressed when I looked at a tree and felt nothing. That was the lowest low of my life." Her friend, stylist Kris Zero, urged the 'Fault in Our Stars' star to stay active, even though sometimes Shailene was "so angry at her" for persisting. She continued: "We'd go surf, and for 10 minutes that day I thought life could be okay again. "Then the depression would come back and she'd go, 'We're volunteering at the horse ranch!' And we'd find a random f****** horse ranch and we'd clean up horse s***. "We'd clean hooves and brush the horses, and for 20 minutes that day I thought life could be okay again. "And then the depression came back, and she'd wake me up the next morning and go, 'Let's go on a hike and bring trash bags and clean up trash!' ' The 'Ferrari' actress admitted she finds it difficult to talk about her relationship with Aaron because it still makes her emotional. She said: 'I haven't shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry. "It was not right. But it was beautiful.'
