'I've never had a healthy relationship with food, so that was the hard part. But once you get into that discipline and commitment, it's like an avalanche. Once that little snowball started rolling, it was on its way.' In October 2024, the 'Son of a Sinner' singer shared a video on Instagram, where his trainer noted that Jelly Roll had achieved a major weight-loss goal. He just surpassed his 100-pound weight loss.' In December 2024, he appeared on Bunnie Xo's 'Dumb Blonde' podcast and shared why he decided to be open with his fans about losing weight. 5 The singer claimed he was addicted to food in the same way that he was previously addicted to drugs. Evan Agostini/Invision/AP Advertisement 'I did this publicly for a reason,' he said. 'I want to be honest about my struggles with it with people. I wore it for so long.' Jelly Roll continued, 'I think that people that become as big as I became, when they lose the weight, they're kind of ashamed. They're so ashamed that they go and hide and lose the weight, and then they come back out, and they don't really know how to interact with the world, looking different or feeling different, you know? And they kind of got to find their whole new way.' 'I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanted to talk about it… This is constantly what I'm putting in the air because I want to bring people along with me.' He later told Bunnie, 'I wanna be on the cover of 'Men's Health' by March of 2026. That's my new goal. So I wanna have one of the biggest transformations.'

Steelers announce Pat McAfee Show is headed to training camp: here's what fans should know

The Pittsburgh Steelers just announced that one of the most entertaining sports talk shows is heading to Latrobe. On Friday, the Steelers announced that The Pat McAfee Show is headed to training camp on July 30 — a spectacle fans won't want to miss, with the gates opening at 11 a.m. EST. A little over a month ago, Aaron Rodgers invited and implored McAfee to host his show at training camp — and after some discussion with the crew, he agreed. McAfee, a born and raised Yinzer, turned the Steel City upside down with his successful Big Night AHT show back in April — captivating Pittsburgh sports fans with surprise appearances from legends like Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger, Penguins' Sidney Crosby, and even Pirates' phenom Paul Skenes. Fans should expect a heavy dose of hilarious Steelers interviews from the training camp edition of The Pat McAfee Show — and arguably the most entertaining appearances would be Rodgers, Mike Tomlin, Cameron Heyward, or the new highest-paid non-quarterback, T.J. Watt. For up-to-date Steelers coverage, follow us on X @TheSteelersWire and give our Facebook page a like.

Sidney Crosby and Paul Skenes share experiences and pressures of first overall pick

For two athletes in the city of Pittsburgh, the weight of expectation is nothing new, but when it happens in different generations, they're able to lean on one another. Both drafted first overall, both expected to turn around the fate of two once-great franchises, Sidney Crosby and Paul Skenes don't have a ton in common, but one thing they do have is a mutual respect. Skenes was all of three years old when Sidney Crosby was drafted first overall by the Penguins, and when Paul Skenes was selected first overall by the Pirates in 2023, Crosby's Penguins had not qualified for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2006. Despite the years between them, the two have been following one another with respect for the last year, and in an interview with the Penguins' website, the two expressed their admiration for one another. "I've been following him," Crosby said. "When he was pitching, I think he went seven, and he got pulled because they were saving his arm. I was really hoping they kept him in, but I understood. [The Penguins], we talk about him, we see him." When Pat McAfee took over PPG Paints Arena this past spring, Crosby and Skenes finally had the chance to meet one another. "First thing that stands out, he's a big guy," recalled Crosby. "If he's pitching from the mound, the ball is coming out of his hand like 10 feet closer. He's that tall, and he already throws it super hard." Days after meeting at McAfee's Big Night AHT, Skenes got to check out Crosby in action when he attended his first NHL game, a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals. "He's a guy that transcends the sport, I think," Skenes said. "It's such a huge honor to be able to have a city know you, and for you to be beloved by the city. It sets an example for people who are in my position and all of our positions to hopefully follow. I'm going to be looking up to him for a while."

The Pat McAfee Show could be coming to Steelers training camp, thanks to Aaron Rodgers

Intense positional battles may not be the only excitement at Steelers training camp this year — as Aaron Rodgers invited Pat McAfee to host his show live in Latrobe. On Tuesday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers asked McAfee to come to Latrobe and 'do a little live show at training camp with the Steelers.' Here's how he responded: 'Maybe we should go do a training camp,' McAfee said. 'I don't know if we're allowed — that would have to be approved by the Steelers. I think the Steelers would approve that.' Tone Digs, a co-host on the show, chimed in and said Steelers Senior Director of Communications Bert Lauten approved it. That led to McAfee all but confirming the event: 'Alright, we will.' McAfee, a yinzer through and through, has a proven track record of Steel City entertainment — as evident by his successful Big Night AHT in Pittsburgh show. McAfee has done live shows all over the country — and if Rodgers gets his way, Steelers fans may soon have a front-row seat at training camp.
