Jake Ejercito just pulled a hilarious prank on Esnyr! On Instagram Stories, Jake shared a video where a speaker was placed right outside Esnyr's room while blasting the "Pinoy Big Brother" theme song. When the actor opened the door, the "PBB" alum immediately woke up, looking confused. "Good morning, y'all," Jake said, to which Esny replied with "Kinabahan ako." Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo answer: 'Jojowain o Totropahin?'
The ship is sailing! On Monday's episode of "Unang Hirit," Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo looked back on some of their memorable clips inside the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." In one of the clips, Brent was asked whether he would rather be friends or be romantically linked with Mika. Without batting an eyelash, Brent answered, "Jojowain." "Si Mika talaga, ever since pa lang, pareho kami ng personality [at] mindset," he explained. 'And sobrang importante sa 'kin 'yun sa magiging jowa ko na pareho kami ng mindset,' he added. On the other hand, Mika shared that she was also asked the same thing about Brent inside the "PBB" house, but it wasn't aired. So, exclusively at "Unang Hirit," Mika said her answer would be "Jojowain" as well. In the same episode, Brent explained why they donated their Big Winner cash prizes to their chosen charity. 'Kasi before, nagka-task kami na 'yung mapapanalunan namin, maka-first lang kami, makakapgbigay kami ng P150,000 sa chosen charity namin,' he said. 'Kaso lang ang nangyari, rank six kami out of six. Pinaka-last kami.' 'Kaya sabi namin ni Mika, paglabas na paglabas, aabutan talaga namin sila ng tulong,' he added. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" ended its four-month run on July 5. Charlie Fleming, Esnyr happy to be third placers in 'Pinoy Big Brother'
Charlie Fleming and Esnyr remain grateful and content despite not clinching the Big Winner spot on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" and finishing as the third big placers. In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the CharEs duo looked back on how they felt when their placement was revealed during the Big Night. "I really wasn't expecting anything. During their PBB stint, Charlie and Esnyr championed their fellow breadwinners, with Esnyr also representing the LGBT+ community. "'Yung main goal naman po talaga namin is makapag-share kami ng kuwento namin sa bahay at maka-influence kami gamitin namin 'yung platform namin sa mga taong nire-represent po namin, para sa mga breadwinners, para sa mga probinsyana, at siyempre para sa LGBTQIA+ community," Esnyr said. For CharEs, the Big Tapatan challenge with the evicted housemates was one of the highlights of their PBB journey, which they said they did not prepare for. "'Yun po talaga 'yung totoong mga nararamdaman po namin at totoong thoughts po namin about the questions po na naibato po sa amin," Esnyr said. "The only thing I told Esnyr was 'Let's be graceful, let's handle it with grace,' na hindi kami mang-iinsulto on whatever emotions we will feel. I'm proud of us kasi even if we raised our voices to be heard, we've never given an insult to each and every one of them kasi we still handled it with love po," Charlie said. During their stay, Charlie was called immature, while Esnyr was called playing safe. "Yes, I'm misunderstood but I hope people know that in my generation, a lot of us are misunderstood also, and if they could really give people chances, if they could really give the teens in my generation chances po, they would really understand them and get to see to see the good spots in them just like how they gave me a chance inside the house po," Charlie said. "Hindi ko talaga alam pa'no po nila nasabing playing safe ako kasi siguro po ako lang po 'yung walang kalaban sa bahay. Feeling po siguro talaga nila na—kasi ako, kilala po talaga ko na nagbi-bring ng light sa house," Esnyr said. Esnyr said that all he wanted was to spread positivity inside the house and share laughter with everyone. The social media star also shared that the reality show paved the way for his reconciliation with his family. "It's a blessing in disguise po for me kasi pumasok po ako nang hindi po OK 'yung pamilya po namin sa mga pamilya nila, tapos lumabas po ako na sobrang OK na po kaming lahat," Esnyr said. The 20 housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" are set to reunite at an event titled "The Big ColLOVE" fancon on August 10, 8 p.m., at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Do Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo feel pressure as Big Winner duo?
Fresh from clinching their victory on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," do Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo feel any pressure carrying their title as Big Winner duo? On BreKa's guesting on Monday's episode of "It's Showtime," Mika said that there is indeed pressure to have the title to her name. "Meron talaga kasi especially hindi ko rin talaga in-expect 'yung welcome ng tao," she said. "Ngayon kasi, para kang may inaalagaan na expectation ng mga tao sa'yo and s'yempre, being a Big Winner is a huge thing," she added. As for Brent, he intends to use the Big Winner title to have a bigger platform to become a role model for the youth. "And [para] mas mag-serve na inspirasyon na huwag tumigil pagdating sa pangarap," he said. Meanwhile, when asked about their willingness to trade their spot with Shuvee Etrata and Klarisse de Guzman when ShuKla was evicted, BreKa said it was an easy decision despite Kuya not allowing their request. "Kung ibibigay mo sa kanila, hindi ka masasaktan kasi deserve din talaga [nila]," Mika said. "Sa haba po nang pinagsamahan namin, parang pamilya na po talaga kami doon," Brent added. "'Di ba 'pag family, you're willing to do anything? Kaya bukas talaga kami magbigay." "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" is getting a second season later this year. From rejection to Big Winner: Mika Salamanca reintroduces herself after 'PBB' win
Ten years after being rejected from "Pinoy Big Brother," Mika Salamanca has finally lived out her dream and reigned victorious in the reality TV series. On Instagram, one-half of the Big Winner duo looked back on her "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" journey with a photo carousel of some of her memorable moments inside the house. 'Pumasok ako ng 'PBB' na may dalang konting damit at pangarap lang, kaya hindi ko in-expect na aabot ako sa dulo, 'cause [what do you mean] umabot talaga tayo sa dulo?! No way, legit?" she wrote in disbelief. The "Sang'gre" actress revealed this wasn't her first try in "PBB," recalling how she didn't make the cut when she auditioned for the show 10 years ago. 'Ten years ago, 'di ako pinalad na makapasok sa 'PBB,' siguro dahil hindi pa ko ready,' she said. "I'm a firm believer that when plans don't go your way, it's because God has a bigger one, at ito yun!" she added. Mika also shared how she focused on staying true to herself throughout the season, which eventually led to her victory. 'Hanggang ngayon po, hindi ko pa rin po maintindihan kung ano ang ginawa kong tama sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya para maging 'Big Winner' dahil ang ginawa ko lang naman po ay ang bilin ng mga mahal ko sa buhay—ang maging ako,' she said. "Thank you for letting me reintroduce myself," Mika said. 'Words are not enough to explain how overwhelmed I am sa lahat ng sumalubong na pagmamahal sa amin.' She also gave emotional tributes to her fellow housemates, particularly Shuvee Etrata, Klarisse de Guzman, Dustin Yu, her final duo partner Brent Manalo, and Bianca De Vera, whom she called her "Immunity Queen." Addressing her ka-duo Brent, Mika said, "from your manifestation sa first duo formation to being the final duo to being the first duo big winner! You really made this journey easier by carrying my emotions with me." "You never made me feel na mabigat yung baggage ko kasi lagi kang ready na sumalo," she added. Mika wrapped up her message by thanking the "PBB" production and management teams, her friends and family, and, of course, Kuya. "For the last time, ako po si Mika, Ang Controversial Ca-Babe-Len Ng Pampanga," she said. Mika and Brent, known as BreKa, emerged as the Big Winners of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," the first duo to share the title in the show's history. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" is getting a second season later this year.
