Ohio State announces 2025 Athletics Hall of Fame class

The Ohio State athletic department announced its ten-member 2025 Hall of Fame class on Tuesday. The class is headlined by former Ohio State football center and Rimington Award winner, Billy Price, who is the only football player included in the class. Price played for the Buckeyes from 2014 to 2017 and is also a two-time All-American. He set the record for starts and consecutive starts as a Buckeye with 55 as a four-year starter. The 2017 season was especially productive for Price. Not only did he win the Rimington Award, which is handed out annually to the best center in college football. He was also named the Big Ten Conference's Rimington-Pace offensive lineman of the year that season in addition to becoming a unanimous All-American. Price retired from the NFL after six seasons for medical reasons in May of 2024. Joining Price in being enshrined in OSU's Hall of Fame class this fall are Bianca Alvarez (diving), Katarzyna Dabrowa(fencing), Veronica Jatsek (women's track and field), Myles Martin (wrestling), Mary Olsen (women's gymnastics), Kim Reeder (softball), Blaz Rola (men's tennis), John 'Jack' Varga (rifle) and Alex Wimmers (baseball). The 2025 HOF class will be officially inducted during a dinner Oct. 3 in the Covelli Center and recognized at Ohio Stadium when the Buckeye football team hosts Minnesota Oct. 4. Ticket information for the dinner will be available later this summer, and when it is, we'll have more information. Bengals could target these surprise positions early in 2025 NFL draft

Bengals could target these surprise positions early in 2025 NFL draft At first glance, the Cincinnati Bengals have some really obvious areas to attack early in the 2025 NFL draft. That's the first glance, though. Those Bengals like to stick as close to an overall big board as possible, it seems. There are rare exceptions, though, which produced results like huge misses in the Billy Price range. That theme in mind, paired with some recent draft news around the team, here's a look at a few spots the Bengals could draft earlier than expected. S The Bengals have postured in recent weeks like a team content with Geno Stone and Jordan Battle at safety next season. But a recent pre-draft visit with a notable prospect suggests otherwise. Going after another costly safety so soon after Dax Hill is an interesting combination of risk and necessity, given how things have gone for that position since Jessie Bates left. RELATED: NFL head coaches love 'rare' Bengals decision with Chase, Higgins RB Meeting with Heisman contender Ashton Jeanty felt like due diligence. Also being mentioned alongside Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins makes things a little more interesting, though. The Bengals re-signed Samaje Perine to pair with Chase Brown, but one has to wonder if they might pull another Joe Mixon in Round 2 if they have a guy graded high enough. It'd certainly be another way to power up the offense, at least. TE Mike Gesicki's re-signing doesn't eliminate this position early. He's effectively a big slot wideout and Drew Sample is a blocker first, receiver second, despite improvements in recent years. If a huge name falls in the first two rounds, one has to wonder if the Bengals won't go for an all-around prospect who can sit atop the depth chart after briefly seeing what a guy like Erick All could do last season.
