Saudi Olympic Committee Collaborates with International World Games Association
The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International World Games Association (IWGA) to foster bilateral cooperation, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The deal seeks to strengthen the cooperation frameworks and broaden opportunities for joint development in non-Olympic sports.
Signed on the sidelines of the 12th World Games 'Chengdu 2025', the agreement basically aims to exchange expertise, promote technical and sports programs, and unleash new horizons for the Kingdom to host major international events.
In the light of this, the deal aligns with the Kingdom's commitment to supporting specialized and emerging sports and boosting their presence at the regional and international levels.
