Al Ahli sign Enzo Millot from Stuttgart on three-year deal
Saudi Gazette report JEDDAH — Al Ahli have completed the signing of French international Enzo Millot from VfB Stuttgart on a three-year contract, continuing their push to reinforce the squad with high-caliber foreign talent ahead of the 2025-26 Roshn Saudi League season. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder, a product of Monaco's academy, broke into the club's first team in 2020 before moving to Stuttgart in August 2021. He quickly established himself as a regular starter in the Bundesliga, drawing interest from top clubs in Spain, England, and Germany. Millot enjoyed a standout 2024-25 campaign, making 29 Bundesliga appearances with six goals and five assists. He also impressed in the Champions League, scoring twice and assisting three goals in eight appearances, while posting an 85% pass completion rate — one of the highest among attacking midfielders in the league. On the international stage, Millot progressed through France's youth ranks and earned eight caps for the Olympic squad, scoring twice, including in the Paris 2024 Olympic final against Spain. 'We've been watching Enzo for a while,' said Al Ahli manager Matthias Jaissle. 'He's technically gifted with excellent tactical intelligence. LONDON: Olympic champion Remco Evenepoel will leave the team where he became one of the best riders of his generation to join Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe from next season. The team said on Tuesday it has agreed to release him early. 'After taking some time to consult with our sponsors and partners, the team's ownership and management have decided that it is in the best interest of everyone to agree that Remco can move at the end of the current 2025 season,' Soudal Quick-Step said in a statement. Evenepoel signed with Soudal Quick-Step at a young age after the squad's former manager Patrick Lefevere spotted his immense potential.
