Who is Adam David? Florida musician and recovery advocate wins 'The Voice' season 27

Adam David has officially won Season 27 of The Voice, capping off a compelling journey that began with just one chair turn during his Blind Audition. The South Florida native joined Michael Bublé's team and steadily earned his place, round after round, thanks to consistent performances and strong audience support. Initially not voted into the Top 4 during the semi-finals, Adam had to sing for an Instant Save, which he won with the majority of viewer votes. This secured his spot in the finale, where he triumphed over fellow finalists Jadyn Cree (also Team Bublé), Jaelen Johnston (Team Kelsea Ballerini), Lucia Flores-Wiseman (Team Adam Levine), and RENZO (Team John Legend). Adam's musical journey began at age eight with a guitar. 'I started playing guitar when I was 8,' he told Deepest Dream. 'I was always making things... little, simple melody things.' He started singing and writing songs by age 11, inspired by his uncle's performances. Beyond his music, Adam is six years sober. In March 2025, he marked this milestone, having previously entered treatment through Music Cares. His single 'Savior' was written during rehab, completed on his final day. 'It's a scary thing to put yourself out there,' he admitted, acknowledging the support from fans. Today, Adam performs weekly at rehab centres, sharing his story and music with those in recovery. His artistry and resilience resonated with audiences, culminating in his well-deserved victory. Bublé, proud of his team member, told him: 'You're my kind of artist... I knew you'd get here.'

The Voice's Season 27 Frontrunner Sparks a Heated Debate: Where Do You Stand On Her Unique Tone?

One thing you've gotta say about The Voice's Lucia Flores-Wiseman: Nobody is on the fence about her. I was a fan from the first time I heard the 22-year-old, when her Blind Audition inspired her future coach Adam Levine as well as John Legend, Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini to turn their chairs. A lotta viewers seemed to share my admiration for Flores-Wiseman, too. In fact, when I dared to give her Knockouts rendition of Benson Boone's 'Slow It Down' a grade of C- — largely owing to it having been absolutely the wrong song choice for her — boy, did I hear about it in the recap comments. Grade NBC's Martha Stewart-José Andrés Cooking Competition But along the way, I've noticed that my fave has amassed a number of detractors, too. After what I thought what a gorgeous rendition of 'My Funny Valentine' in the Battles, one recap reader remarked, 'I had to go find video of [American Idol's] Melinda Doolittle singing that song just to get Lucia's tortured version out of my head.' 'If [she] ends up winning, I'm done watching the show,' grumbled one commenter. Another rattled off the names of four eliminated contestants that she felt were 'all far better singer/performers than Lucia. Can't believe Adam kept her.' I get it. Flores-Wiseman's voice may be an acquired taste. The word that always comes to my mind to describe her tone is 'tangy.' I dig it. (She kinda reminds me of Victoria Williams.) Some people don't. But I'm curious: How many of you are actually with me in rooting for her to win Season 27, and how many are more like, 'Thank you, next'? Hailey Wright reflects on The Voice journey and Texarkana roots

TEXARKANA, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) —Rising country star Hailey Wright is making waves on The Voice and beyond, and she recently stopped by to share her journey, from choosing her coach to performing in her hometown. When faced with choosing between Kelsea Ballerini and Michael, Hailey felt an instant connection with Kelsea. 'She recognized the yodel in my voice when I sang Blue,' Hailey shared. 'There was no better choice for me—she already understood my voice.' Hailey's love for music started early, but a softball injury led her to the guitar. 'I had a pawn shop guitar and nothing better to do than lay around and teach myself to play,' she recalled. That passion turned into a career that has taken her to national stages. Returning home after her Blind Audition aired, Hailey was overwhelmed by the support at her first local performance. 'The love from my hometown means everything,' she said. Now, she's focused on creating her own music, booking shows, and even launching merchandise. One of Hailey's biggest personal challenges was understanding her identity. 'Growing up, I didn't have much contact with my biological father, and I looked different from my sisters,' she explained. Learning about her Choctaw Native American heritage helped her embrace her uniqueness and shape her artistry. While she couldn't reveal details about The Voice, Hailey excitedly announced her next performance on March 29 at Hopkins Icehouse in Texarkana. She also gave inspiring advice to young artists: 'Don't take no for an answer. Keep going until you get that, yes.' Hailey Wright is a star on the rise with talent, determination, and a growing fan base. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
