Who is Adam David? Florida musician and recovery advocate wins 'The Voice' season 27
Adam David has officially won Season 27 of The Voice, capping off a compelling journey that began with just one chair turn during his Blind Audition.
The South Florida native joined Michael Bublé's team and steadily earned his place, round after round, thanks to consistent performances and strong audience support.
Initially not voted into the Top 4 during the semi-finals, Adam had to sing for an Instant Save, which he won with the majority of viewer votes. This secured his spot in the finale, where he triumphed over fellow finalists Jadyn Cree (also Team Bublé), Jaelen Johnston (Team Kelsea Ballerini), Lucia Flores-Wiseman (Team Adam Levine), and RENZO (Team John Legend).
Adam's musical journey began at age eight with a guitar. 'I started playing guitar when I was 8,' he told Deepest Dream. 'I was always making things... little, simple melody things.' He started singing and writing songs by age 11, inspired by his uncle's performances.
Beyond his music, Adam is six years sober. In March 2025, he marked this milestone, having previously entered treatment through Music Cares. His single 'Savior' was written during rehab, completed on his final day. 'It's a scary thing to put yourself out there,' he admitted, acknowledging the support from fans.
Today, Adam performs weekly at rehab centres, sharing his story and music with those in recovery. His artistry and resilience resonated with audiences, culminating in his well-deserved victory. Bublé, proud of his team member, told him: 'You're my kind of artist... I knew you'd get here.'

Blake Shelton shares key to happiness with Gwen Stefani ahead of 10-year anniversary
As Blake Shelton prepares to release his new album For Recreational Use Only on May 9, the country star is also celebrating a major milestone: 10 years together with wife Gwen Stefani. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Shelton opened up about their relationship, collaboration, and the secret behind their lasting happiness. 'It honestly does feel like time is flying,' said Shelton, 48. 'We're at the point where we say, 'Remember when...' and realize it was eight years ago. It's crazy.' Despite their long relationship, Shelton says it still feels fresh. 'It feels just as exciting and new and happy as it did early on,' he shared. 'I feel like that might be the key to happiness.' The couple, who met on The Voice in 2015, teamed up for a new duet, 'Hangin' On,' featured on Shelton's upcoming album. Though only one track made the cut, Shelton revealed they recorded two duets and plan to save the second for a future project. 'Gwen is way more particular when it comes to a lyric,' he said, adding that recording with her is both a challenge and a joy. 'We live together, so we sing around the house and prep long before we get to the studio.' As fans await Shelton's new music, his reflections offer a heartfelt glimpse into a decade-long love story that continues to inspire — both on and off stage.

Snoop Dogg teams up with Universal Pictures for biopic chronicling career and Death Row legacy
Global entertainment icon Snoop Dogg is set to bring his life story to the big screen through a newly announced biopic, developed in collaboration with Universal Pictures and NBCUniversal, as reported on April 23, 2025. The project is a centerpiece of a larger multi-year partnership between Snoop's Death Row Pictures and NBCUniversal, covering ventures in film, television, sports, and streaming. Snoop, born Calvin Broadus Jr., expressed enthusiasm for the deal, praising NBCUniversal's support and describing the collaboration as a 'perfect marriage.' Donna Langley, Chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios, emphasized the uniqueness of the partnership, stating, "There's only one Snoop." The biopic, which had been teased following Snoop's 2022 acquisition of Death Row Records, is now actively in development. The screenplay is being written by Joe Robert Cole, known for his work on Black Panther. Snoop himself will produce alongside Oscar-winner Brian Grazer (8 Mile, A Beautiful Mind) and Sara Ramaker, President of Death Row Pictures. While Allen Hughes was initially attached to direct, a new director has yet to be confirmed. Casting is currently underway, with the production team searching for a new actor to embody the legendary rapper. Beyond the film, Snoop's broader deal includes his return as a coach on NBC's The Voice for Season 28 and follows his notable coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics for NBC. He also starred in E!'s docuseries Snoop's Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne's Story.
