Rishab Shetty launches Just Married trailer, ahead of August 22 release
Bobby CR's Just Married, produced by Ajaneesh Loknath and distributed across Karnataka by VK Films, got a special start to its journey with a wedding-themed trailer launch, as it was unveiled by none other than Rishab Shetty . Director Bobby says, 'We had planned for Rishab to release the trailer, and he liked it. He felt the story was strong, and Shine had done so well. Hearing that from him meant a lot to us. ' The launch wasn't just another press meet as Bobby and team transformed it into a celebration with full-on wedding vibes. 'Since the film is about marriage, we decided to give the trailer launch a wedding feel,' Bobby explained. 'Guests were welcomed with pearl garlands, bangles for the women, mehendi artists, and haldi décor. It's the first time people said they'd been invited to a trailer launch like this, and they felt truly happy and part of the celebration," she added. The festive atmosphere, paired with the trailer's charm, left everyone in high spirits, says Bobby, and adds, 'The trailer is the perfect invitation to watch the movie.' Just Married slated for August 22 release, says director Bobby CR

Directed by Bobby CR and produced by Ajaneesh Loknath, is being distributed by VK Films. 'Both Ajaneesh Loknath and I come from a music background, and we bring deep passion and emotional depth to the project, which is produced under the banner of Abbs Studios,' says Bobby CR. 'The chemistry between lead actors Ankita Amar and Shine Shetty is a definite highlight. Music plays a vital role in amplifying the film's emotional impact, and we truly believe it will resonate strongly on social media and with audiences worldwide. We've designed it to be universal, where emotion takes center stage regardless of language or culture. Bobby CR, who is set to make her directorial debut with the upcoming Just Married, speaks to us about her experience of directing a film, the challenges and requirements of the Kannada industry, and more. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Excerpts: 'ACTORS ONLY LIVE THEIR CHARACTER; A DIRECTOR LIVES AS EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER' 'This is my directorial debut, but I have never faced an issue based on the fact that I am a female director. I am not someone to thinks I am a female director. I am a director, that's that. Sure, we might need to take a break from work once a month, but that doesn't mean we are not dedicated to our craft,' she says. Reflecting on the demands of filmmaking, Bobby emphasises that directing is an all-encompassing role that extends far beyond the actors on screen. 'Actors only live their character; a director lives as every single character. There is a lot of work behind the scenes that goes into releasing a movie. Just one word – 'good', 'bad' or 'okay' – defines a movie's outcome, but that doesn't fairly represent the efforts of everyone who worked off-screen,' she explains. 'Just Married will appeal to Gen-Zs' Bobby's upcoming film Just Married is about individuals grappling with real-life connections in a technology-driven world. 'Today, people are so hooked to technology that they aren't adept at navigating real life. What happens when they have no choice but to get married? What will their journey together look like? It's like trying to make sense out of confusion, something a lot of people, especially Gen Z, can relate to,' she explains.
