Latest Kristaps Porzingis update might give Boston Celtics fans some regret

The latest Kristaps Porzingis update might give Boston Celtics fans some regret. The Boston big man alum was just photographed suiting up for the Latvian National Team to play in FIBA action soon, and looked like he was in much better health than he was when he was playing for the Celtics. Boston of course elected to trade away the Latvian center in order to get their cap hits under the NBA's second apron and all the team building penalties that status brings with it, sending KP to the Atlanta Hawks in return for Georges Niang and said cap relief. After how he played for the Celtics in the 2025 NBA Playoffs, the move was not exactly unwelcome for many Boston fans. But will they feel regret if he reverts to the sort of player the Celtics hoped they were getting when they traded for him? Cohost of the CLNS Media "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Sam LaFrance, took some time to talk it over with guest Bobby Krivitsky of Forbes and Hardwood Houdini fame. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about a potential Porzingis resurgence from a Boston point of view. What we want to see from the Sin City Celtics in Las Vegas Summer League

The Boston Celtics are headed to Nevada to take part in the NBA's 2025 Las Vegas Summer League, with two players from the team's regular roster, three incoming rookies, a former two way player who might return in that role, and eight unsigned prospedcts hoping to latch on with either the Maine Celtics at the G League level or some other roster in another league. What should we be watching for from the Sin City Celtics? What roles do we think each of the 14 players from the Summer Celtics will end up holding in the 2025-26 season? And do we think there is a sleeper prospect among them that Boston's front office might want to consider signing? The hosts of "Havlicek Stole the Pod" took some time this week to sit down with Forbes Boston beat writer Bobby Krivitsky to try to answer all of the above questions, as well as what the whole summer series of exhibitions is for in the first place. How should the NBA fix the All-Star Game?

How should the NBA fix the All-Star Game? Does the longstanding annual exhibition event actually need to be fixed? Should it be a competitive event? Should it cater to what players the fans want to see in it? And what about the honor of getting the nod to be in it in the first place? Is it a problem that there is no financial incentive to play hard in these games, but major financial incentives to be named an All-Star? There is a host of angles to this topic, which pops up every season at this time in the league calendar. But with recent flops still looming large in our collective memories, there is an added currency to these questions this season. The host of the "Celtics Rundown" podcast Bobby Krivitsky linked up with CLNS Media "Celtics Lab" podcast cohosts Cameron Tabatabaie and Justin Quinn to talk it over. Check it out below!
