Srikalahasti MLA releases white paper on development activities
Tirupati: Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Sudhir Reddy released a white paper outlining the constituency's development over the past year, highlighting Rs.71 lakh spent across sectors to improve infrastructure and public services. Speaking to the media on completing one year of his election on Wednesday, he said the development journey began with reforms at the Srikalahasti temple, including curbing broker systems and boosting Hundi collections. Addressing civic issues, the MLA launched silt cleaning operations in response to drainage complaints. Hostel renovations for SC and BC students were undertaken in a corporate model. Government hospitals were upgraded with essential medicines and RO plants using CSR funds. In coordination with Union Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu, flight services from Delhi and Mumbai to Tirupati were started within 100 days. Sudhir Reddy underlined prompt pension disbursement to 4,000 beneficiaries on the 1st of every month, doubling previous amounts. Over Rs.75 lakh was disbursed under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Drinking water needs were addressed by installing RO plants and digging 70+ borewells. Road works were completed on key routes including the Srikalahasti–Thotambedu stretch. SKHT College was reopened and local schools and Anganwadis renovated. The local railway station, bus stands, and shelters saw upgrades through central and CSR funds. Support for farmers and minorities came through subsidised loans and renovation of religious sites like the Shadi Mahal and Eidgah Masjid. A mega job mela saw 1,788 youth placed. Regular mandal-wise reviews and 'WhatsApp Governance' are enhancing accountability. He accused the previous YSRCP government of corruption and reaffirmed his commitment to Srikalahasti's progress.

Srikalahasti MLA unveils statues of Phule, Ambedkar
Tirupati: Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Sudhir Reddy unveiled the statues of social reformers Dr BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule in Peddakanaparthi village, Thottambedu mandal on Tuesday. Former Minister Parasa Rathnam and BJP senior leader Kola Anand and others took part in the event. Addressing the gathering, the MLA said the teachings and ideals of Ambedkar and Phule must continue to inspire everyone. The society should rise above caste and religious differences to live in unity and harmony. He also inaugurated a new RO drinking water plant in Peddakannali Panchayat ST Colony. It was established with CSR funds by Green Panel. Later, MLA Sudhir Reddy also reviewed the success of mini-Mahanadu meetings organised at the constituency, mandal, and booth levels. He said that hundreds of party leaders and activists actively participated in these meetings, where local issues were discussed, and party strategies were reinforced. The MLA also reviewed developmental activities carried out during the past 11 months of his tenure. These include road development, street lighting, drinking water solutions, and local welfare initiatives. He announced that a white paper detailing all development works will be released on June 12, offering transparency and accountability to the public.

Srikalahasthi MLA to launch Rs. 12.72 cr MSME complex in Chittoor
Tirupati: Srikalahasthi MLA Bojjala Sudhir Reddy laid the foundation stone for a Flatted Factory Complex (FFC) at Rachagunneri village in Srikalahasti mandal, as part of the Government of Andhra Pradesh's ambitious plan to develop 175 MSME industrial parks across the state. The project, with an estimated cost of Rs.12.72 crore, will be developed on 1.04 acres of land and will include 30 industrial units, with designated spaces for banks, storage, and administrative facilities. This is the first MSME facility of its kind to be launched in Chittoor district, setting a milestone in local industrial development. Speaking at the ceremony, MLA Sudhir Reddy reiterated his commitment to creating employment opportunities and fostering growth in the region. He described the foundation stone laying of the FFC as both a personal tribute to his father's legacy and a step toward realising the dreams of future generations in Srikalahasti and beyond.
