Anupam Kher recently shared an unexpected reunion with Baby co-star Rana Daggubati at the Mumbai Airport.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher is quite active on social media, and often gives fans a sneak-peek into his day-to-day life by sharing lovely pictures and videos. Recently, he unexpectedly bumped into his 'Baby' co-star and friend Rana Daggubati at the Mumbai Airport while travelling, and they clicked a lovely selfie. Anupam Kher expressed his excitement about seeing Rana Daggubati. He also revealed that the latter promised Anupam Kher a role in one of his upcoming productions, hinting at a potential future collaboration between them!
Anupam Kher took to his Instagram account to share a selfie with Rana Daggubati from their surprise reunion at the Mumbai Airport. In his caption, Anupam Kher wrote, 'So delighted to meet my friend and my #Baby co-star @ranadaggubati at the airport! His love and warmth is so infectious! Anupam Kher and Rana Daggubati have shared screen space in Neeraj Pandey's 2015 film 'Baby', which also stars Akshay Kumar, Danny Denzongpa, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Madhurima Tuli and Rasheed Naz.
Before stepping into acting in 2010, Rana Daggubati started his own production company, Spirit Media, which made the National Film Award winning animation film, Bommalata (2004). In addition to his independent ventures, Daggubati is also a partner in his family's renowned production house, Ramanaidu Studios.
Anupam Kher is currently enjoying the wave of appreciation for his directorial project, Tanvi The Great, which premiered at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Produced by Anupam Kher Studios in collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation, the film follows the heartwarming tale of a young autistic girl who aspires to join the Indian Army and fulfil her late father's dream of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier. The film marks the debut of Shubhangi Dutt, who played the role of Tanvi and features Anupam Kher, Iain Glen, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami and others in prominent roles.
Anupam Kher was last seen in Anurag Basu's spiritual sequel, Metro… In Dino alongside Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati was last seen in the second season of Rana Naidu.
