Anupam Kher and Rana Daggubati have shared screen space in Neeraj Pandey's 2015 film 'Baby', which also stars Akshay Kumar, Danny Denzongpa, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Madhurima Tuli and Rasheed Naz.
Before stepping into acting in 2010, Rana Daggubati started his own production company, Spirit Media, which made the National Film Award winning animation film, Bommalata (2004). In addition to his independent ventures, Daggubati is also a partner in his family's renowned production house, Ramanaidu Studios.
Anupam Kher is currently enjoying the wave of appreciation for his directorial project, Tanvi The Great, which premiered at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Produced by Anupam Kher Studios in collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation, the film follows the heartwarming tale of a young autistic girl who aspires to join the Indian Army and fulfil her late father's dream of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier. The film marks the debut of Shubhangi Dutt, who played the role of Tanvi and features Anupam Kher, Iain Glen, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami and others in prominent roles.
Anupam Kher was last seen in Anurag Basu's spiritual sequel, Metro… In Dino alongside Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati was last seen in the second season of Rana Naidu.

Chidambarams next film gets titled Balan, production begins

Written by Jithu Madhavan, the writer of 'Aavesham", the film's production will commence today. Chidambaram's 'Manjummel Boys" and 'Aavesham", which was written and directed by Madhavan, were two of the most successful titles of the year 2024. The production banner shared the news on its official X handle on Sunday. 'Lights, camera… 'BALAN'! KVN Productions & Thespian Films proudly present #Balan — that's officially gone on floors!
