Hurry! You've got just hours left to add these Prime Day earbud deals to your basket

Prime Day is very nearly over. As the hours count down until Amazon slams those doors shut and brings prices back up to normal, you've still got a little time to get those last-minute earbuds deals. There are big savings to be had on some of our favorite devices. There's the Bose Ultra Open, which are $229 at Amazon. Then there's the Sony WF-1000XM5 down to $198 at Amazon. There are still plenty of Prime Day earbuds deals live — make sure you don't miss out! The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are a cheaper way to get hold of Bose's excellent noise canceling. They block loads of noise, but also sound pretty good. 8.5 hours of battery life in the buds themselves is better than average, too. This deal brings them down to their lowest ever price. LOWEST PRICE! The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC are a surprisingly excellent pair of earbuds. Their case might be bulky, but the buds themselves are comfortable and pack in great sound and ANC from Bose. This deal brings them under $100 by a significant margin for a new lowest price ever. The Sony WF-1000XM5 probably don't need much explanation. These currently rank as our best ANC earbuds, with excellent sound and immaculate ANC — and this deal makes them a whole lot more affordable. Save $100 for a price that is treacherously close to their lowest ever. Sony's transparent blue buds are a budget hero in our minds. They sound great with plenty of detail and bass, and the ANC is better than anything else at this price. We'd wager you're unlikely to see a price this low outside of deals events — so you'd best snap these up quick while the sale is still on. The Denon PerL Pro often slide under the radar, but they're an excellent pair of earbuds that now don't cost the world. The large plate on the outside gives them great touch controls, and the sound quality is out of this world. This $60 deal saves you a bundle on some epic little earbuds. The Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro are some great little earbuds at a price that doesn't completely drain your wallet. They've got good ANC and solid sound, and the case has a cool little screen on it that gives you a helpful battery life readout. This deal brings them down to their lowest price ever. These open earbuds hang on the outside of your ears and let the sounds of the outside world in so that you don't, like, get hit by a car. They sound much better than I was expecting too, with decent bass response for something so physically far away from your ears. This deal brings them down to their lowest price ever. The Nothing Ear buds are an interesting one. Beyond just sounding good and having decent noise canceling, they're also integrated with ChatGPT. That means you can ask them just about anything at any time, which is pretty cool. This deal brings them under $100 for a solid Prime Day deal. There are plenty more deals to be had this Prime Day — make sure you check out our Prime Day live blog to make sure you're staying on top of all the latest sales and offers.

The best Prime Day earbuds deals right now — save up to $100 on Beats, Sony, Bose and more

The best time of year to look for a pair of earbuds at a cut price is Prime Day — and luckily for you, it's just that time. That means massive savings on earbuds from Sony, Bose, Beats and more, just in time for the summer. The Sony WF-C710N are down to $78 at Amazon, for example. That's a big $50 saving, making for their lowest price ever. Then there's the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, which are now down to $129 at Amazon — another big saving. There's more besides, so let's take a look at the best Prime Day earbuds deals. Sony's mid-range buds happen to be priced very competitively, and crucially, even lower with Prime Day. For a great price, you get wicked sound, top-notch ANC, and a very comfortable fit. As you find out in our 4.5-star review, there's little we didn't like about the buds, including their 30-hour battery life. This deal price is the lowest we've ever seen for the buds. Bose's cheaper buds are no slouch when it comes to their ANC, with plenty of noise blocking to beat out the competition. Sound is very good as well, as you'll find in our 4.5-star review of the buds. 8.5 hours of battery life in the buds is also the best in the Bose family. This $50 discount is their largest ever. The Beats Studio Buds + are my favorite product from the Beats lineup, featuring excellent sound and excellent ANC. They're well priced on a good day, but this deal brings them down to an even more affordable cost. That's an $80 discount for those who need a calculator (like me). The WF-1000XM5 top the tree of Sony's earbuds line, packing in loads of features to make them a great buy at any price. As you'll find out in our 4.5-star review, there's excellent sound quality, great ANC and a comfortable fit awaiting you if you add them to your basket this Prime Day. We've seen them slightly cheaper before, but this deal price is still a great saving. The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC brings Bose sound and ANC to a more fashionable design. They're a bit good too, with great sound quality and a comfortable fit. We gave them 4 stars in their review, with performance befitting something more expensive. This is their first discount, and the deepest they've received so far. Sennheiser's flagship ANC earbuds are down to a solid price this Prime Day. The 4.5-star buds are a bit of a barnstormer, with excellent sound and solid ANC. Battery life is good too, with 30 hours of charge in the case. A comfortable fit rounds out the features. This isn't quite the lowest we've seen them, but it's well worth picking them up at this price. Nothing's stylish buds have a hefty $40 discount at the moment, bringing them down to a new low. For the price, you get solid sound, a comfortable fit and decent battery life. ChatGPT integration is the headline here, though — ask anything at the touch of a button. Denon's PerL Pro earbuds not only sound excellent, but they can change the way they sound to make sure they match your hearing profile. They're comfortable too, and those dinner plate-like outer surfaces house some very solid touch controls. Spatial audio is good, too, and 8 hours of battery tops it all off. There are plenty more deals to be had this Prime Day — make sure you check out our Prime Day live blog to make sure you're staying on top of all the latest sales and offers.

Bluetooth audio devices from top brands can be spied on, warns CERT-In

India's cybersecurity agency, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), has issued a high-severity warning for users of Bluetooth audio devices. The agency said that multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Airoha Bluetooth firmware.(Pixabay) The agency said that multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Airoha Bluetooth firmware, which could allow attackers to gain unauthorised access to Bluetooth audio devices such as the Sony WH-1000XM5, JBL Live Buds 3, Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, and Marshall Motif II. 'The vulnerabilities exist in Airoha Systems-on-Chip (SoCs) due to missing authentication in the GATT service and the Bluetooth Basic Rate/Enhanced Data Rate (BR/EDR) component, as well as a flaw in a custom protocol,' CERT-In said in the warning issued on July 2. 'An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by establishing connections between mobile devices and audio Bluetooth devices and by delivering commands via the Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile (HFP),' it added. It warned that attackers could potentially eavesdrop or manipulate audio communications and intercept or inject commands on the targeted system. CERT-In said that Airoha has supplied an update containing firmware fixes to all device manufacturers on 4 June 2025. 'Each vendor is expected to release product-specific firmware updates in its next scheduled cycle,' it said. According to a Business Standard report, Airoha is a leading supplier of Bluetooth audio chipsets (SoCs), commonly used in True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds and other audio equipment manufactured by top brands like Sony and JBL. Which devices are affected? German cybersecurity firm Enno Rey Netzwerke GmbH (ERNW) said that 29 audio products across 10 brands are impacted. The brands include Bose, Sony, JBL, Jabra, Marshall, Beyerdynamic, JLab, EarisMax, MoerLabs, and Teufel. The affected devices range from wireless headphones and earbuds to microphones and speakers. Some of the models confirmed vulnerable include Beyerdynamic Amiron 300, Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, EarisMax Bluetooth Auracast Sender, Jabra Elite 8 Active, JBL Endurance Race 2, JBL Live Buds 3, Jlab Epic Air Sport ANC, Marshall ACTON III, Marshall MAJOR V, Marshall MINOR IV, Marshall MOTIF II, Marshall STANMORE III, Marshall WOBURN III, MoerLabs EchoBeatz, Sony CH-720N, Sony Link Buds S, Sony ULT Wear, Sony WF-1000XM3, Sony WF-1000XM4, Sony WF-1000XM5, Sony WF-C500, Sony WF-C510-GFP, Sony WH-1000XM4, Sony WH-1000XM5, Sony WH-1000XM6, Sony WH-CH520, Sony WH-XB910N, Sony WI-C100, Teufel Tatws2.

Skullcandy Method 360 ANC Review: Killer Quality Without the Price Tag

The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC are a fantastic pair of earphones for just AUD$189.99 Partnering with Bose, Skullcandy has delivered amazing sound quality and ANC in a small shell The earphones are best when paired with the dedicated Skull-IQ app It's rare that audio manufacturers work together. Companies like Skullcandy and Bose often find themselves on opposite sides of a battle for customers' cash, with the idea of collaboration faint and distant. Well, we're seeing something rare indeed, because not only did Skullcandy and Bose put their capabilities together to make a pair of earphones—the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC—but that product is actually really good. Bringing the high-quality audio capabilities of Bose together with Skullcandy's penchant for design, the Method sits under the latter's branding and stand as its most expensive pair of earbuds yet. But, the quality is definitely there, and comparative to the price you're usually paying for Bose's audio the Method is downright affordable. I've been using them for a few weeks now, and I've come away pretty impressed: particularly by the active noise cancelling, which is among if not the best I've tested yet. Skullcandy Method 360 ANC Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Price AUD$189.99 AUD$289.95 Audio Drivers 12mm 9.3mm ANC Types Adjustable 4-Mic ANC: Full, Stay-Aware Mode, Off Aware mode, Quiet Mode, Off Battery Life 9 hours, up to 32 hours with case and ANC on 11 hours, up to 40 hours with case and ANC off 8.5 hours, up to 31.5 hours with case Features – IPX4 Sweat and Water Resistant – Rapid Charge (10 mins = 2hrs) – Multipoint Pairing – Pairs with Skull-IQ App – Clip-Anywhere Battery Case – IPX4 Sweat and Water Resistant – Rapid Charge (20 mins = 3hrs) – Multipoint Pairing – Pairs with Bose QCE App – Battery Case Scroll horizontally to view full table Audio Quality, Audio Cancelling For the money, the Method 360 ANC pack some serious audio quality into a wireless, comfortable form factor. Everything I threw at them came out sounding great: and I threw quite a varied array of sounds into the mix. Over the past few weeks I've been diving into lo-fi synth wave, which came out sounding creamy and bassy, as well as a nice little sprinkle of Swedish extreme metal, which packed one hell of a punch—especially when I started playing with the EQ (see below). I'm not going to sit here and say that Skullcandy's audio isn't usually good, but clearly collaborating with Bose has delivered something very special here. The best part is that, while I was listening to these either dreamy or nightmarish genres on the tram home from the office, I also got to enjoy some of the best ANC I've yet used in an earbud form factor. I recently had a bit of time with the CMF Buds 2 Plus, which I liked quite a bit and has great ANC, but switching between the two showed off just how much better the ANC is in Skullcandy's efforts. Using the Skull-IQ app allows you to easily switch between a full ANC mode in which you'll hear essentially nothing of the outside world, a stay-aware mode in which you'll hear the world around you, but muffled, and an 'off' setting, which… turns ANC off. Living in a busy city definitely comes with its drawbacks, and constant noise is one of them, but the Method 360 did a great job of keeping my morning or evening commutes relatively free of noise pollution. Skullcandy Method 360 ANC | Image: Dean Blake / Man of Many Skull-IQ Delivers the EQ When paired up with the Skull-IQ app, you're able to switch up the earbuds' EQ balance to a number of pre-determined styles— the incredibly broad focuses of music, bass boost, and podcast—or create whatever you want using custom sliders. I'm not a huge fan of brands segregating features behind an app, if I'm being honest, but given how EQ controls have all but disappeared from most music streaming services, I'll take the compromise. Using the custom mode lets you mess with the earbuds' low end, low-mid, mid, high-mid, and high end, and can do it live while listening to whatever you want to best represent the experience you want. Need more bass? Dial up the low-end. Is a pesky lead guitar stealing the show and drowning out the rhythm section? Pull back the highs. It's a simple system, but it gets the job done, and it's more than some other earbud makers bother with. Plus, if you can't be bothered fiddling with it, you don't have to. The sound is great regardless. Skullcandy Method 360 ANC | Image: Dean Blake / Man of Many How's The Fit? Okay, so the Method 360 ANC perform well, but are they comfortable? Absolutely, and come with a set of differently-sized earbud tips so that you can tailor the buds to fit your ear canal snugly. In fact, they're probably the most snug-fitting earbuds I've used thanks to a small silicon trim along the top of the bud which not only holds it in place within your ear, but also plays a slight role in sealing out sound from the outside. I honestly feel like I could wear these things and do cartwheels and they wouldn't fall out, though I'd probably struggle to stand back up afterward. The design, though, often leaves me confused as to which earbud goes in which ear, and then which one goes back into each side of the included charging case. Something about needing to put the earbuds into the charging case upside down throws me every time, and I'm constantly wondering if the buds are the right way up, putting them in wrong, and then needing to fix it up. It's a 5-second tax every time I try to take them out of the case, or put them back in, which I suppose will add up over time. Skullcandy Method 360 ANC | Image: Dean Blake / Man of Many However, I will say that, thanks to that massive charging case, I have literally not had to charge the earbuds since an initial juicing. Every time I put them back in my ears they're at 100 per cent, and I'm waiting for that to stop happening but it just hasn't. The buds themselves can last up to 9 hours with ANC on, but you'll get an extra 23 hours by using the case to top them up. If you're not using ANC as much as I am, you'll get a grand total of 40 hours of audio, which is nothing to sneeze at. Man of Many's Verdict All in all, though, Skullcandy's Method 360 ANC are a fantastic pair of earbuds, and more than earn their keep for your hard-earned money. If you're looking for great audio quality, incredible noise cancelling, and access to easy-to-use EQ capabilities, the Method 360 ANC are going to deliver: and all for sub-$200.
