Sony's mid-range buds happen to be priced very competitively, and crucially, even lower with Prime Day. For a great price, you get wicked sound, top-notch ANC, and a very comfortable fit. As you find out in our 4.5-star review, there's little we didn't like about the buds, including their 30-hour battery life. This deal price is the lowest we've ever seen for the buds.
Bose's cheaper buds are no slouch when it comes to their ANC, with plenty of noise blocking to beat out the competition. Sound is very good as well, as you'll find in our 4.5-star review of the buds. 8.5 hours of battery life in the buds is also the best in the Bose family. This $50 discount is their largest ever.
The Beats Studio Buds + are my favorite product from the Beats lineup, featuring excellent sound and excellent ANC. They're well priced on a good day, but this deal brings them down to an even more affordable cost. That's an $80 discount for those who need a calculator (like me).
The WF-1000XM5 top the tree of Sony's earbuds line, packing in loads of features to make them a great buy at any price. As you'll find out in our 4.5-star review, there's excellent sound quality, great ANC and a comfortable fit awaiting you if you add them to your basket this Prime Day. We've seen them slightly cheaper before, but this deal price is still a great saving.
The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC brings Bose sound and ANC to a more fashionable design. They're a bit good too, with great sound quality and a comfortable fit. We gave them 4 stars in their review, with performance befitting something more expensive. This is their first discount, and the deepest they've received so far.
Sennheiser's flagship ANC earbuds are down to a solid price this Prime Day. The 4.5-star buds are a bit of a barnstormer, with excellent sound and solid ANC. Battery life is good too, with 30 hours of charge in the case. A comfortable fit rounds out the features. This isn't quite the lowest we've seen them, but it's well worth picking them up at this price.
Nothing's stylish buds have a hefty $40 discount at the moment, bringing them down to a new low. For the price, you get solid sound, a comfortable fit and decent battery life. ChatGPT integration is the headline here, though — ask anything at the touch of a button.
Denon's PerL Pro earbuds not only sound excellent, but they can change the way they sound to make sure they match your hearing profile. They're comfortable too, and those dinner plate-like outer surfaces house some very solid touch controls. Spatial audio is good, too, and 8 hours of battery tops it all off.

This Brand-New TCL QLED Has the World's Slimmest Bezels
The main way to tell how old a TV is? Look at the bezels. Until about 10 years ago, they were thick picture frames, but they've slowly gotten smaller and smaller as the models turned over. With its new QM8K QLED, TCL has removed them entirely. Innovations in panel design mean that this blindingly bright screen looks like it's floating in space on its pedestal mount. It's a classy party trick that makes it easy to hide on the wall with images or artwork on it, and it improves the viewing angle to boot. This flagship model costs a pretty penny more than TCL's other value-first options, but that's for good reason: It competes directly with more expensive mini LED models from Samsung and Sony, and the great viewing angle and brightness even give high-end OLED models a run for their money. If you want a good picture and great apps for less, you can get it with a more affordable Hisense or TCL model, but if you want a great picture, this is the most affordable way to get it this year. Out of the Box Photograph: Parker Hall The experience of setting up the QM8K is basically the same as with any other TV. The QM8K comes in a large cardboard box surrounded by foam, and you'll want two people to pull it out, put it on a soft surface like a bed or table with a blanket, and install the included pedestal mount. It comes with a power cable and backlit (!) remote, but you'll need to supply your own HDMI cables if you want to connect anything to any of its four ports (two HDMI 2.1, two HDMI 2.0). I always love a TV with a pedestal mount, and this mount is sturdy and easy to attach. It also allows you to tilt the TV. Likewise, the included Google TV interface is extremely easy to use, with QR-based logins for essentially every modern streaming app, and speedy swaps between apps (something I had an issue with on last year's TCL models). The TV supports Chromecast and Airplay 2, which makes casting music and YouTube clips super easy for folks who are visiting and on your Wi-Fi. The TV has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 support, and it was more than capable of keeping up with 4K streaming on my mesh network at home. It has Ethernet as well, should you want to hard-wire in for the fastest speeds. No Bezels Photograph: Parker Hall The lack of bezels isn't immediately noticeable if you're not looking for it, but once you see that the brushed gunmetal frame of the TV now immediately transitions to screen after just 3.2 millimeters—rather than having a 10 mm-ish black rim—every comparable model seems old and tired. The gorgeous crystal WHVA panel is capable of up to 3,040 local dimming zones (depending on the size of TV you buy), which makes for a stunning image, and the lack of frame makes it look like the picture is hovering in space.

5 things we want to see from the AirPods Max 2
Apple's annual September event is right around the corner, which means a couple of things. First, the iPhone 17 is on the way. Announcements for next-gen smartwatches — the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3 — are en route. Then there's the possible, but highly unlikely, debut of the next-gen AirPods, which may be the AirPods Max 2. We're not convinced that Apple will share a first look at its upcoming noise-canceling headphones. Recent updates from supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claim the new model may not enter mass production until 2027. Nonetheless, the consensus is that the AirPods Max 2 are in the works and coming soon. There has been some gossip surrounding upgrades, from a brand-new hard case to enhanced active noise cancellation to touch controls. Oh yeah, longer battery life too, something the series has desperately needed. All of these suggestions are cool, but let's be honest – they should have been included on the USB-C version of the AirPods Max that launched last fall. If Apple is going to remain a heavy hitter in the headphones market, it needs to get with the times, find inspiration from its competitors, and embrace popular features that consumers are currently enjoying on some of the best noise-canceling headphones out there. Here's what we recommend for the AirPods Max 2 before they ship. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Odds are the AirPods Max 2 will receive Apple's current H2 processor. The component brought stronger noise-canceling and processing power to the AirPods Pro 2, and should have been added to the re-released AirPods Max. Having this CPU would also grant access to some of Apple's newer features, including Adaptive Audio, Head Gestures to execute call management and Siri voice commands, and several health hearing modes. The fact that Beats' audio products are optimized for both iOS and Android use makes this even more aggravating. So, why hasn't Apple employed Beats' proprietary technology to make the latest AirPods releases platform-neutral? That's a solid question – one that we're not holding our breath for Apple to answer. Beats' processor supports a few Android features (e.g., Fast Pair, Find My Device) and multipoint to pair to two Bluetooth audio sources simultaneously. Adopting this CPU's wireless capabilities would boost the AirPods Max 2's connectivity and make them the most versatile AirPods ever. Audio on the first-gen AirPods Max was fine. Could it have been better? Absolutely. Expectations are that Apple will refine its soundstage for the AirPods Max 2. What we really want is a brand-new driver system with a higher frequency range. Sonic improvements would be audible across all media formats (e.g., audiobooks, games, movies, music, podcasts). The AirPods Pro 2's latest sound features are a given, like Adaptive Audio, which blends ANC and Transparency modes together to deliver optimal performance. Both noise-canceling modes can be tweaked to complement Apple's other sound technologies (i.e., adaptive EQ, Personalized Spatial Audio). Next is lossless audio. Apple added this to the refreshed AirPods Max via USB-C connector. As surprisingly good as it performs, listeners don't want to be tethered to their iPhone to hear high-quality sound. Many of the best wireless earbuds and best wireless headphones support hi-res codecs that stream music at high bitrates over Bluetooth and reveal more nuance in recordings. Can we finally get ALAC over Bluetooth, Apple? The original AirPods Max are beautiful headphones that embody Apple's design ethos of simple, sleek, and stylish. If only they weren't so flawed structurally. Not crafting the earcups to fold inward for convenient storage was a huge mistake. Owners still complain about water condensation around the inner drivers. The mesh material sags over time, which decreases tension and causes the metal bands to rest unpleasantly on the skull. And don't get us started on the purse-inspired Smart Case that provides little-to-no protection. Apple doesn't need to redesign its flagship headphones from scratch. Much of their appearance can remain intact. However, all previously mentioned issues need be addressed on the AirPods Max 2. Apple should also allow for more personalization. We're not just talking engravings. Think swappable earcup shells and headbands to form cool two-tone colorways. A new carry case that resembles the iPhone's premium aesthetic and showcases the headphones handsomely on the inside would be greatly appreciated as well. Apple's 3D audio format has been a huge advancement in the wireless audio space and it has inspired several of the industry's top legacy brands to create their own versions. Well, the competition has caught up. Hence why Apple must make its spatial audio available across all platforms. The feature is practically a standard on today's wireless headphones. A handful of rivals, particularly Bose, have superior alternatives, and some of these formats work with all stereo content. Meanwhile, Apple's version is restricted to 5.1/7.1 surround sound and Dolby Atmos on Apple Music. First, get more non-Apple users familiar with Personalized Spatial Audio. Then figure out how to optimize the feature for all platforms and the best music streaming services. This will heighten the listening experience on the AirPods Max 2.
