7-Eleven's glazed doughnuts are 50 cents for one day only. Here's what to know
7-Eleven is offering discounted doughnuts — but the deal won't stick around. On Friday, June 6, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can grab a 50-cent glazed doughnut at participating 7-Eleven, Stripes and Speedway stores to celebrate National Doughnut Day, the convenience retailer said. No additional purchase is required. Those who miss the one-day offer can get a glazed doughnut for $1 until Tuesday, June 24, 7-Eleven said. 'At 7-Eleven, bakery is all about delivering a delicious, fresh experience that fits seamlessly into our customers' busy lives,' Brandon Brown, senior vice president of fresh foods for 7-Eleven, said in a news release. Additional information wasn't immediately available. The first National Doughnut Day event was held in Chicago in 1938, according to The Salvation Army. 'Donut Lassies' served the pastries to thousands of soldiers during World War I and helped popularize doughnuts in the U.S., the organization's website says. 'Both the presence of these courageous women and the donuts that tasted of home brought a light of hope and happiness to the battlefield — a much-needed morale boost for languishing soldiers,' The Salvation Army said. Jaguars expected to meet with Giants' Brandon Brown via Zoom
New York Giants assistant general manager Brandon Brown is reportedly on the list to be interviewed for the Jacksonville Jaguars' general manager vacancy. #Jaguars conducted several zoom interviews for GM candidates this week and will do several more over the next two days. Among expected group is three assistant GMs — Ian Cunningham (Bears), Chad Alexander (Chargers), Brandon Brown (Giants) — and former Titans GM Jon Robinson — Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) February 13, 2025 Brown has been a frequent target of teams in the front office carousel the past few seasons. Last year, Brown interviewed for the Carolina Panthers' general manager opening. This offseason, he had multiple interviews with the Las Vegas Raiders, who decided to go with John Spytek. Brown, 36, has been with the Giants in his capacity as Joe Schoen's assistant for the past three seasons, coming over from the Philadelphia Eagles organization where he worked under general manager Howie Roseman. Should Brown be hired away, the Giants would receive compensatory third-round selections in each of the next two drafts as per Resolution JC-2A, a policy that awards a club picks for losing minority candidates to other clubs in executive or head coaching positions.
