Sprigg said Moore was 'a bit knocked around' but remained 'in good spirits'. In a statement to ABC Sport, Moore '(passed) on his gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who have cared for him'. 'We are saddened to share that our colleague and friend Andrew Moore has recently suffered a heart attack,' the statement read. 'All of us at ABC Sport are sending our love and best wishes to Andrew, and we can't wait to hear his voice back in the commentary box when the time is right. 'He actually sent us a message, his ABC rugby league colleagues, just this afternoon and he's a bit knocked around, but in good spirits,' Sprigg said. 'I know, trust me, how much he hates missing the footy.' The ABC issued an update on their colleague's well-being on Thursday.
