Sharna Burgess shares insight into her relationship with her Beverly Hills 90210 star fiancé Brian Austin Green and reveals how their son Zane 'bonded everyone together'

Sharna Burgess has shared new details about her relationship with her Beverly Hills 90210 star fiancé Brian Austin Green. The Australian ballroom dancer told this week's Stellar magazine, the pair met after a mutual business manager arranged a blind date between them in 2020. Sharna admitted she didn't recognise Brian's name as she hadn't watched 90210. The following year, Sharna and Brian starred on the US version of Dancing With The Stars as a couple. 'We totally put our relationship first the whole way through, because it was always more important to us,' she explained. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Sharna and Brian have been together since 2020 and delight in their blended family. The American actor is a father of five. He shares Kassius, 23, with ex-wife Vanessa Marcil, 56, and Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, eight with Megan Fox. Brian also welcomed his son Zane with Sharna in June 2022 and the actress said their baby boy 'bonded everyone together'. 'I was always incredibly close with the kids as our relationship grew, but when Zane came along, it was like that piece locked in where they were, like, 'Oh, this is forever',' she revealed. Elsewhere in the chat, the Los Angeles-based couple teased that they have discussed having a second home in Australia. In the meantime they are enjoying extended visits - including with their children - Down Under while Sarah films Dancing With the Stars Australia. 'It's been really, really cool, especially after being away for such a long time,' Sharna said. 'We've loved the beach time. Bri and two of the kids climbed the Harbour Bridge – they loved it. The photo we have in our kitchen is massive smiles and windswept hair. It's the cutest thing.' Brian proposed to Sharna on his 50th birthday in 2023. In 2021, the pair appeared on The Morning Show to celebrate their one-year anniversary together - and the interview took a cringeworthy turn when Brian admitted he still doesn't understand Australians' fascination with Vegemite. Vegemite is a thick, dark brown spread made from leftover brewers' yeast extract. It's considered a household staple in Australia, but is reviled in other parts of the world. 'Aussies are awesome, you know this,' joked Sharna after Brian praised her for being a great stepmother to his four children. He then replied: 'Vegemite makes me question that a little bit, but whatever.' Elsewhere in the interview, Brian said his partner had done a good job handling the 'responsibility' that comes with dating a man with children. Sharna, who hails from Wagga Wagga and now lives in the U.S., went Instagram official with Brian in February 2021.

Megan Fox's ex Brian Austin Green can't stop lavishing affection on fiancee Sharna Burgess at charity event

Megan Fox 's ex Brian Austin Green could not stop kissing his wife Sharna Burgess on Friday. And she seems to love the guy right back as she talked up her future husband. The Dancing With the Stars pro, 39, gushed about her partner while attending Nancy Davis' 32nd Annual Race To Erase MS Gala on Friday with her husband-to-be, 51. Sharna cited parenting skills as one of the traits that made her fall for him. 'One of the things that I fell in love with about Brian very early on was the way he is as a father to his children,' she told Us Weekly at the event. 'He is the kind of father that I honestly wish that I grew up with. 'He is the kind of man that I watch every day with our children, and the way that he parents, and the way that he is not just parenting but living as an example of what a good man should be — in his conversations, in the way he loves me, in the way that he loves our children,' the Aussie dancer gushed. Sharna leapt to the defense of her future husband after his first wife Vanessa lobbed some shade at him in a text message. Brian and Sharna share two-year-old son Zane. He also shares sons Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 7, with ex-wife Megan Fox, and has a 23-year-old son Kassius with ex-wife Marcil. In 2018, Vanessa claimed Brian hadn't seen Kassius in five years. In 2023, Brian accused Vanessa of lying when she said that she raised Kassius alone. Earlier this month, Vanessa uploaded a text message exchange which appeared to be between herself and Brian. The conversation appeared to hint that the actor had forgotten about his son's graduation. Vanessa sent Brian a photo of their son sitting inside a car, to which Brian allegedly responded, 'When was that?' Vanessa replied, 'Yesterday was his graduation.' Brian then wrote back, 'You did a really great job. He's an amazing person,' to which Vanessa wrote, 'Thank you.' The day before he had reflected on his marriage to Marcil on his podcast Oldish, which he does with Sharna and Randy Spelling. 'The relationship that I had with Vanessin that way,' he admitted. 'Like, it wasn't a loving, caring relationship.' Vanessa and Brian first met in 1998 when she joined the cast of Beverly Hills 90210 for the show's ninth season. The pair dated for several years and welcomed Kassius in March 2002. 'The relationship that I had with Vanessa in that way,' he admitted. 'Like, it wasn't a loving, caring relationship.' Vanessa said she felt sorry for him and was not in love with him, which was quite a blow. Megan Fox also took a swipe at Brian's parenting skills after they split in 2020 after 10 years together. 'I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture,' Fox wrote via Instagram in November 2020. 'You're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year.' Meanwhile Brian and Sharna are planning their wedding for 2026, but in the meantime, the love birds are trying to expand their family. The couple are hoping to add a little girl to their family. 'I will most likely do IVF anyway,' Burgess also told Us Weekly, with Green saying he was ready to have a daughter.
