Vikings two-time Pro Bowler makes admission on Patriots defensive line
The New England Patriots' defensive front made a strong impression on Minnesota Vikings' two-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Brian O'Neill. He was complimentary of the unit after seeing them in action during the two joint practice sessions between the Patriots and Vikings last week. Coach Mike Vrabel made it a point to add more firepower along the defensive front in New England. Milton Williams, Harold Landry III, Khyiris Tonga and K'Lavon Chaisson signed with the team in free agency. They also spent draft picks on defensive tackle Joshua Farmer and edge rusher Bradyn Swinson. Couple those additions with two incredibly talented defenders in Christian Barmore and Keion White and it's clear why the unit is finding success right out of the gate. 'They got some players,' O'Neill said, via Boston Herald's Doug Kyed. 'It was a good test for us to see (Christian) Barmore back out there today. That's obviously going to make a big difference for them. I got a ton of respect for Harold (Landry). I played against him before, and just everything I hear about him is true professional. And then Milton (Williams has) got some juice for sure, too, sure so. And Keion (White) is pretty good, too, off the edge, and he's able to do it from both sides, which not a lot of guys can do. So they play hard. You can tell they're really well coached. It was a really good two days of work for us.' Historically, defense has been the calling card for the Patriots, and that is not expected to change under Vrabel. Hearing the early praise should be music to the ears of Patriots fans. There are still some questions at edge rusher, but the defensive line should be one of the strongest units in the league. It's going to be a fun group to watch under a talented defensive mind in defensive coordinator Terrell Williams. Follow Patriots Wire on Twitter and Facebook.

[DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Louisville Metro Police responded to a crash around 9:50 a.m. on Sunday. An initial investigation revealed that the semi was traveling south on Interstate 65 when the driver lost control and hit the rail of the bridge, according to CBS affiliate WLKY TV in Louisville. 'You've got a precarious situation where the cab of a truck is dangling off an interstate. It could possibly separate and fall,' said Brian O'Neill, fire chief. He said the incident was like a semi crash in 2024. 'The last one was dangling over water. This one was over, you know, everybody around here is familiar with Spaghetti Junction. There's just more interstate underneath,' said O'Neill. He told WLKY that crews used a high point rope system, with a rescuer lowered into the cab. 'You basically, lower a person down there into the cab,' explained O'Neill. 'One of our firefighters was there to then hook him up into a system, make sure that he was safe, pull him up out of the cab and back down to safety.' The Louisville Mayor shared rescue photos on social media. The rescue took almost 30 minutes. Medics transported the driver to a Louisville hospital. [SIGN UP: WHIO-TV Daily Headlines Newsletter]

Poll: Most Americans trust AI-generated content
April 17 (UPI) -- A large majority of Americans say they trust most of the information generated by artificial intelligence, which is quickly becoming commonplace online, results of a new poll said. The poll, released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University, states 51% of respondents said they believe they can trust AI-generated content "some of the time." On The other end of the spectrum, another 24% said they think they can trust it "hardly ever." Another 24% said they think they can trust the information most or all of the time. While most of the respondents said they generally trust AI-generated content, experts focused on those who do not. "It's reassuring that a vast majority of Americans trust information generated by AI only some of the time or hardly ever, since it indicates a healthy amount of skepticism when they use AI for research, Quinnipiac University associate professor of computer science Brian O'Neill said in a statement. Men had the highest levels of trust in the content, the poll said, with 28% reporting confidence in the information most or all of the time, compared to just 15% of women who said the same thing. Just over seven months ago, a majority of respondents said they did not trust the validity of AI-generated content and automatic "chatbots." Younger respondents said they trust the content more than older ones did. Higher earners show more confidence in AI-generated content and the trust waned as income levels dropped. The survey was conducted between April 3 and April 7 and included 1,562 adults. It has a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.
