Jelly Roll's wife grabs country star's attention with risqué move at hockey rink
Jelly Roll's wife turned up the heat at an ice hockey rink while supporting her country star husband. Bunnie Xo, 45, took to social media to share how she playfully grabbed Jelly Roll's attention in an unexpected way, prompting more than a few double takes. The "Son of a Sinner" crooner appeared to be having a photo shoot at an ice hockey rink when his wife lifted her shirt on the sidelines. "When he's not paying enough attention to you so you have to flop out the honkers," she wrote on the Instagram video. Jelly Roll, 40, had a priceless reaction to his wife, nodding his head and cheering her on. He was all smiles as he laughed and pumped his fist while the two danced together. The couple's humorous moment comes after Jelly Roll recently revealed one habit that his wife can't stand. Last month, Jelly Roll and "American Idol" judge Luke Bryan, 48, appeared on "The Jennifer Hudson Show," where they participated in a rapid-fire question segment with Hudson, 43. "What's one thing you do that drives your wife absolutely crazy?" the two-time Grammy Award winner asked. "I feel bad for her," Jelly Roll, born Jason Bradley DeFord, said. "I have this problem I do where I leave a trail of clothes from the front door to the shower," he admitted as the audience groaned. "I know. I've been trying to break this habit, y'all! It annoys her to no end." Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll first met in 2015 after the former sex worker watched the rising country star perform at a concert in Las Vegas. A year later, the two eloped after Jelly Roll proposed to Bunnie XO while onstage at a Yelawolf and Deftones concert. The country music star previously shared how he's kept his marriage strong in an interview with Fox News Digital at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. "Open, real, honest communication," Jelly Roll told Fox News Digital. "We talk about the uncomfortable stuff up front. It's a real important thing in our marriage." He pointed out that it helps to have a sense of humor when it comes to love. "And also, we don't take nothing too serious," he added. "Have a short memory. Laugh as much as you can. Laughter is the best medicine."

Kneecap Issue Apology to Families of Murdered Politicians for ‘Kill Your MPs' Remarks
Northern Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap have shared a new statement following mounting criticism over resurfaced footage of alleged on-stage comments. On Monday (Apr. 28), London's Metropolitan Police confirmed that a clip of the group allegedly calling for the death of British MPs (members of parliament) is being assessed by anti-terror police in the U.K. More from Billboard P1Harmony, SEVENTEEN's HxW & More Among KCON Los Angeles 2025 Performers How to Watch the 2025 Tony Nominations Announcement Livestream Watch Jelly Roll & Bunnie Xo Duet on Miley Cyrus' 'Flowers' Backstage at Stagecoach Filmed at a London gig in November 2023, it appears to show one member of the band saying: 'The only good Tory is a dead Tory. Kill your local MP.' At the time, the Conservative Party – also known as the Tories – were in government with a large majority. It followed the news that last week that a video of the band expressing support for Hamas and Hezbollah – both of which are ascribed terror group status by the U.K. government – was also being assessed by the Met. Under anti-terror laws in the country, it is an offence under the Terrorism Act 2000 to 'invite support for a proscribed organisation.' On Sunday, (Apr. 27), a Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'We were made aware of a video on 22 April, believed to be from an event in November 2024, and it has been referred to the counter-terrorism internet referral unit for assessment and to determine whether any further police investigation may be required. We have also been made aware of another video believed to be from an event in November 2023.' The group are yet to be charged with any offence. In response, Labour MP for Hemel Hempstead David Taylor and Scotland's First Minister John Swinney have made public calls for the removal of Kneecap from several summer festival performances, including Glastonbury and TRNSMT in Glasgow. Now, Kneecap – made up of rappers Liam Óg Ó Hannaidh and Naoise Ó Cairealláin and beat-maker JJ Ó Dochartaigh – have responded with a statement posted to their Instagram page, addressing their alleged support of Hamas, Hezbollah, and promoting violence against British MPs. 'Let us be unequivocal: we do not, and have never, supported Hamas or Hezbollah. We condemn all attacks on civilians, always. It is never okay,' it read. 'We know this more than anyone, given our nation's history. We also reject any suggestion that we would seek to incite violence against any MP or individual. Ever. An extract of footage, deliberately taken out of all context, is now being exploited and weaponised, as if it were a call to action.' The trio continued, in part: 'We also reject any suggestion that we would seek to incite violence against any MP or individual. Ever. An extract of footage, deliberately taken out of all context, is now being exploited and weaponised, as if it were a call to action.' Elsewhere in the post, Kneecap went on to apologise to the families of Labour MP Jo Cox and Conservative MP Sir David Amess, who recently condemned the band of 'inciting violence.' Both MPs were murdered in 2016 and 2021 respectively.'To the Amess and Cox families, we send our heartfelt apologies, we never intended to cause you hurt,' Kneecap said. Doubling down on their stance, they concluded: 'Kneecap's message has always been – and remains – one of love, inclusion, and hope. This is why our music resonates across generations, countries, classes and cultures and has brought hundreds of thousands of people to our gigs. No smear campaign will change that.' Read the full statement below. The new statement comes in the wake of the fall-out following the band's sets at Coachella earlier this month. During their performance, Kneecap displayed a message stating, 'Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people. It is being enabled by the U.S. government who arm and fund Israel despite their war crimes. F–k Israel; free Palestine.' On Friday (Apr. 25), meanwhile, it emerged that the group had split with their U.S. booking agent, IAG, and there have been calls for the group's U.S. work visas to be revoked. Kneecap are currently scheduled to perform a headline tour in North America this October. Worst-dressed celebs at the Academy of Country Music Awards 2025 revealed
It's one of the most prestigious nights in all of country music. Hosted by in Frisco, Texas Academy of Country Music Awards celebrated the biggest names in the genre. While many stars stepped out in style on the red carpet, others missed the mark entirely. Rising pop princess Jessie Murph turned heads by arriving on the red carpet with a piglet as her date. The Alabama-born singer matched the pig to her outfit, which consisted of a pair of soft pink pants and a plunging fringed top. Appearing to channel Priscilla Presley or Bobby Lee Gentry, Jessie had her black hair styled into a huge bouffant. Piggy plus-one: The singer matched the pig to her outfit, which consisted of a pair of soft pink pants and a plunging fringed top Also in a shade of soft pink was Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town, who donned a shiny strapless jumpsuit. Jessie Jo Dillon rocked a white pantsuit with floral prints. She coordinated it with a matching handbag and cowboy hat, and completed the look with a chunky necklace and rings. RHOBH star and singer Morgan Wade walked the red carpet without best friend Kyle Richards. She rocked an ill-fitting pair of black trousers and an oversized pink satin blazer with nothing underneath. Jelly Roll's glamorous wife Bunnie Xo rocked one of the raciest looks of the night. The podcaster, 45, dared to bare in a semi-sheer lace dress that showed off her cleavage and legs. She had her blonde hair teased and tousled and went for a smokey black makeup around her eyes. Also flashing some flesh was Kassi Ashton in a flimsy yellow number that struggled to contain her curves. Joking about the raunchy look on Instagram, the 31-year-old wrote: 'Just a garage dress and some porch stripper shoes.' Not even A-listers were exempt from fashion fails, with Nicole Kidman leading the worst of the rest. Ready to muck out the stables: The Voice's Jake Worthington went for farmer chic on the red carpet ACM Awards 2025 WINNERS Entertainer of the Year Kelsea Ballerini Luke Combs Cody Johnson Jelly Roll Chris Stapleton Morgan Wallen Lainey Wilson — WINNER Lainey Wilson was one of the night's big winners Female Artist of the Year Kelsea Ballerini Ella Langley Megan Moroney Kacey Musgraves Lainey Wilson — WINNER Male Artist of the Year Luke Combs Cody Johnson Jelly Roll Chris Stapleton — WINNER Morgan Wallen Chris Stapleton beat out a tough crowd to win Male Artist of the Year Duo of the Year Brooks & Dunn — WINNER Brothers Osborne Dan + Shay Muscadine Bloodline The War and Treaty Group of the Year Flatland Cavalry Little Big Town Old Dominion — WINNER Rascal Flatts The Red Clay Strays New Female Artist of the Year Kassi Ashton Ashley Cooke Dasha Ella Langley — WINNER Jessie Murph New Male Artist of the Year Gavin Adcock Shaboozey Zach Top — WINNER Tucker Wetmore Bailey Zimmerman

What I heard, spotted and sang along to at the 2025 ACMs: Jelly Roll is country's MVP, Alan Jackson steals the crowd's heart and the night's big winners
Jelly Roll! Keith Urban! Reba McEntire! The Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs) brought some of the biggest stars in country music together on Thursday night for its milestone 60th anniversary, and everyone was very ready to party. Lainey Wilson and Ella Langley were the night's big winners, further proving what Wilson told me earlier this week: it's a great time to be a woman in country right now. While the ACMs went big with unforgettable performances and pairings, a lot of what makes the evening special just doesn't come across on TV. Let me take you inside what went down during the show at the Star in Frisco, Texas. I've been lucky enough to attend the Grammys and the MTV VMAs a few times, so I'm used to seeing Swift own the room at these events. This was my first country music show, and I am ready to crown Jelly Roll its king. The "Liar" singer was first up on his feet for every performance and seemed to be having a great time with his wife, Bunnie Xo. When Dan + Shay took the stage during the 12-minute opening number to perform their song "Tequila," Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo danced together and kissed like they were the only ones in the room. The song has special meaning for the pair, as she once said the ballad helped save their marriage in 2018. Jelly Roll then took his electric energy to the stage, and when he performed 'Amen' with Shaboozey, the whole arena went nuts. Although the "Save Me" singer was MVP, I'd like to give a very big honorable mention to Wilson. She was also up on her feet for all performers, dancing and singing along. It wasn't just Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo who turned the event into date night. All eyes were on Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, who had prime placement front and center. They were one of the last stars to make a grand entrance — holding hands, of course — and when they walked into the room, the people in my section lost it. "OMG, there they are!" one excited fan yelled. Her girlfriends, who couldn't spot the couple in the crowd, were all freaking out. They calmed down once someone pointed out Urban and Kidman in the seats below. When Wynonna Judd performed "Why Not Me," Kidman jumped out of her seat. She and Urban were singing to each other and dancing the whole time. Urban was honored with the ACM Triple Crown Award, and while a lot of stars lean on the teleprompter for moments like this during awards shows, the country star didn't need it. He gave a speech from the heart and thanked his family. "My wife, Nicole Mary, is here tonight. I love you, baby girl," he said. "And our girls, Sunday and Faith, watching at home tonight, I love you both too." Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes were another couple that people couldn't stop staring at — and he didn't leave her side all night. The Outer Banks star accompanied his girlfriend everywhere as he held her hand and walked her backstage before her performance of "Baggage." The "I Had Some Help" crooner had the song of the summer and was up for seven awards on Thursday night, including Entertainer of the Year. But when festivities kicked off, he shared a photo of himself on his Instagram story on the golf course with Tom Brady. This isn't the first big awards show Wallen has skipped. He didn't attend the Grammys in February or the 2024 Country Music Awards in November, where he won the night's top prize. Still, Wallen's presence was felt throughout the stadium. "If Morgan Wallen doesn't win everything, I'm leaving," one male fan next to me said. Wallen came up empty-handed (and said fan did not leave), but he's clearly wildly popular with the people. Any time the singer's name was mentioned, the 13,000 fans in attendance went wild. He was a massive a crowd favorite, despite being a no-show, as he consistently got some of the loudest applause. He's also beloved by his peers too: Jelly Roll was one of the nominees who was always clapping for Wallen. The country legend hosted the show for the 18th time on Thursday, and she relied on radio host Bobby Bones to do bits with the crowd. Why? I'll let him explain. "I love when Reba hosts, because for me selfishly, she doesn't like to come off the stage, so that's why I do all the work in the crowd," he told me on the red carpet. McEntire would likely be too mobbed if she were walking around the floor. Seriously, she is one star who makes all these famous singers starstruck. Rascal Flatts, Zach Top, and Brooks & Dunn all told me on the red carpet that they were most looking forward to seeing McEntire. This one's hard, but I'm going strictly by crowd reaction in the room. There was a good indication early on that Wilson and Langley could be the night's big winners as they got some of the biggest cheers after their performances. The loudest applause probably went to Alan Jackson, who, after performing "Remember When," had everyone on their feet going nuts. He also received the first-ever Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award. It was an emotional moment as he's been dealing with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. When he shouted out his wife, Denise, "who's been my best friend since I was 17 years old," everyone held their hearts. "She's loved me through the good and the bad, the happy and the sad," Jackson said. "Influenced me, gave me three beautiful daughters and she's helped me keep my feet on the ground all these years. I would not be here without her." The closing number with Rascal Flatts and the Backstreet Boys was also a highlight. All night, announcers teased their collaboration, and it was worth the wait — especially when they all sang "Life is a Highway" to close out the show.
