Brandy and Monica and more: 10 can't-miss fall shows and festivals around Indianapolis
Cool breezes will soon be on their way to usher in a slate of major shows and festivals throughout Indianapolis.
After the Butter Fine Art Fair over Labor Day weekend, a host of local and visiting artists will perform at the Circle City's top venues.
Here are 10 can't-miss shows and festivals coming this fall.
Indy Jazz Fest

This year's festival boasts a legendary slate of headliners, including pianist Brian Culbertson, trumpeter Terence Blanchard and vocalist Nicole Henry.
Volume 1: Launch

Dance Kaleidoscope will perform 'Cloudline,' choreographer Robyn M. Williams' piece about transformation and inner strength. Her work has been performed at the Kennedy Center, Jacob's Pillow and other iconic venues.
The Revivalists

Heartland International Film Festival

The festival usually includes more than 300 film screenings, many of which are honored during the Academy Awards and other major national and international events.
'Ben-Hur 1925'
The Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra will play the score by Carl Davis during the silent film screening to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the epic.

'Marie and Rosetta'

Known as the Godmother of Rock 'n' Roll, Sister Rosetta Tharpe influenced many musicians, including her vocalist protégée Marie Knight. This play chronicles the two women rehearsing for a historic musical collaboration.
