‘I found how to get a £42 Medik8 serum for £5 in a beauty deal that saves over £150'

Genevieve Turley, the make-up artist you've undoubtedly seen all over your Instagram and TikTok feeds, has launched her very own limited-edition beauty box, with huge savings to be had Beauty boxes are a fantastic way to sample new products, replenish your existing favourites or treat someone to a bumper beauty bundle. They often come with massive savings too – and here's a brand new one that offers you incredible products and value for money. OK! Beauty Box has joined forces with make-up artist and social media sensation Genevieve Turley – whose hilarious and down-to-earth videos you've likely seen on your Instagram or TikTok feed – to create her very own limited-edition beauty edit, featuring 11 of her favourite skincare and make-up products from top brands such as Medik8, Rodial and Gatineau. Impressively, 10 of the 11 products inside are full size – including a cult classic Medik8 serum – and the total value comes to over £210, yet the box usually costs £59.99 to purchase. However, there's a way for Mirror readers to save even more. Purchase it now through this link, or by using the code MIRRORGEN at the checkout, and you'll get it for £54.99 instead of £59.99, while stocks last. This means a whopping £155 saving, and means that each of the 11 products inside can be thought of as having a value of £4.99 each. In our exclusive chat with Gen, she said, "I've had so many beauty boxes over the years and always thought, 'What would I put in mine?' So when this happened I was delighted – and prepared! I wanted great products that will make a big impact for women. "This box is a great opportunity to try products you may not have heard of or been afraid to splurge on, but with the massive saving, it takes away that worry." For me, the standout item inside is Medik8 C-Tetra. An absolute cult favourite skincare product and a go-to amongst countless beauty experts (myself included), this is a brilliant, foolproof vitamin C serum that moisturises and brightens the complexion, and has almost 1,500 five-star reviews on the Medik8 website alone. Gen reveals that "it really helped reduce my pigmentation from my second pregnancy". A full-size 30ml bottle (which is what you receive in the box) costs £42 alone, so for an additional £13 you're getting 10 other beauty products alongside it. Other standouts inside include a £39 dewy Rodial blush, a luxe brown eyeliner pencil and "one of [Gen's] favourite products of this year", Gatineau Collagene Expert Hydra Essence. But honestly, there's not a disappointing product in here – everything's incredibly wearable and simple to use, even if you're not a make-up expert. Here's a list of everything you get inside: Medik8 C-Tetra Lipid 7% Vitamin C Radiance Serum - 30ml full-size, worth £42 Rodial Blush Drops in the shade Apricot Sorbet - 15ml full-size, worth £39 Delilah Eye Line Long Wear Retractable Pencil in the shade Twig - 0.312g full-size, worth £23 Pixi EOD Cleansing Oil - 150ml full-size, worth £14 Gatineau Collagene Expert™ Hydra Essence - 30ml travel-size, worth £14 Makeup Revolution Bright Light Highlighter in the shade Radiance Bronze - 3ml full-size, worth £8 Sunkissed Curl & Flex Waterproof Mascara in the shade Black - 10g full-size, worth £5.99 Pippa of London Defining Lip Liner in the shade 601 Gerana - full-size, worth £15 Pippa of London Supermatte Lipstick in the shade 404 Scala - full-size, worth £19 Dr. Paw Paw Shea Butter Lip Balm - 25ml full-size, worth £9.25 Brushworks Dewy Fine Mist Setting Spray - 150ml full-size, worth £6.99 A voucher to redeem for four copies of OK! Magazine - RRP £18.40 However, if you're not a big fan of make-up, this box might not be for you as over half of the products are make-up items. You might be more interested in a skincare-focused box like Lookfantastic's The Skin Renewal Edit, which is valued at £210 but costs £45, or the Boots X Supergoop! Beauty Bag Edit, priced at £44 but worth over £90 (we've reviewed this one here). If you're keen on getting your hands on the OK! Beauty Box by Genevieve Turley, I wouldn't wait, as I predict it will be snapped up quickly.

18 Of The Best Summer Beauty Essentials For 2025, Tried And Tested

Every holiday requires a beauty routine to match. The ELLE team reveal the skin and haircare heroes they won't leave at home, from the best sunscreens to the glow-giving bronzers. While I would award myself professional status in my ability to stay supine almost all day, only breaking position for delicious drinks, it is not the beach holiday that gives me life. Instead, it's the hustle of a strange city – and the navigation of unknown sounds, streets and snacks – that really feeds my soul. But there is an art to these short getaways, and it starts with packing smart – preferably in a carry-on, so you can get to your destination as soon as possible and avoid wheeling a heavy suitcase over cobbled alleyways. The seasoned city-breaker travels light, leaving valuable real estate in her suitcase for memorabilia and novelty fridge magnets that she couldn't resist. So only the best products get a space in my plastic security bag, including my fail-safe La Roche-Posay, which is light enough for hot, sticky days, but strong enough for my sensitive skin. For shoulders and shins, I take Clarins Invisible Sun Stick, which looks like an orange lollipop, so even the kids get in on the SPF slip, slap, slop action. (If their little hands get too exploratory, there's always the Neal's Yard sanitiser, which is brilliant on planes, too.) I should (I don't) go make-up-free on holiday, but I find that a good lipstick can give a healthy flush to lips, cheeks and lids. Too cute not to pack, a tiny pot of Elemis' cleansing balm will get all the grime and grease off at the end of the day. If my travelling companion and I still have the legs for sun- downers, that's when I'll drench myself in Penhaligon's Solaris. The blend of citrus, vanilla and sandalwood comes with me every time I go away, so now it always reminds me of excellent adventures. But while salt, sun and sand are good for the soul, anything in excess is rarely good for your skin. A high-protection, broad-spectrum SPF50 is non-negotiable on holiday. Lightweight formulas enriched with antioxidants, such as niacinamide, can defend against UV rays and environmental stressors, but make sure you find one you enjoy applying – brownie points if it's a moisturiser, too. My go-to is Purito's daily sunscreen, but if your choice lacks added antioxidants, layer it with Medik8's C-Tetra, a gel-like serum packed with vitamins C and E. Take a tinted SPF, too; heavy foundations have no place on the beach. For a put-together look, I also like to add a swipe of mascara, as well as a touch of Haus Labs by Lady Gaga's bronzer in Jatoba Sun Deep, Ami Colé's hydrating lip oil in Excellence and Westman Atelier's liquid highlighter in Peau de Soleil. Body oils and subtle shimmers are the easiest way to elevate skin on balmy evenings. Look for something with a barely-there, hydrating feel, with a soft, golden sheen that'll catch the light on your shoulders, collarbones and shins, delivering a no-make-up glow. I love Patrick Ta's Major Glow Balm and Victoria Beckham's Portofino '97 for that goddess-level radiance. The bronzer The Sunscreen Now 14% Off Credit: Purito the Body oil Credit: Victoria Beckham Beauty The highlighter Amelia Bell, multiplatform beauty director Though not exactly in the realm of a relaxing holiday, for me, there's nothing more feel-good than a great headliner and some unpredictable British weather. Whether it's a four-day stint at Glastonbury or a few hours at London's ebullient Mighty Hoopla, you need the right formulas, clever textures and a hard working yet considered line-up of products. Some might argue that one of the joys of these events is that you need less rather than more, but I would beg to differ. As a multi-step routine is unlikely, I strip back my skincare and focus on the basics: namely, hydration. The refreshing Allies Of Skin Probiotics Treatment Mist is a good start – it locks in moisture, working as a salve for sweaty, lacklustre complexions. This year, I'm also taking Susanne Kaufmann's body mist for quick spritzes and Artah's Cellular Hydration powder for a boost of electrolytes. Next up, sun protection. Formulas have come on light-years and the latest solutions are ideal for festival-goers. Take Dr Jart's on-the-go stick; it covers tricky spots such as the scalp and shoulders, and is invisible upon application – plus, it's enriched with hydrating hyaluronic acid. As for haircare, nothing revives my two-day-old locks quite like a sea-salt spray and Sam McKnight's biodegradable cleansing cloths – a saviour if you have a fringe like me. Finally, as I'm not a glittery-make-up person, my list comes complete with a bold red lip, a Barbour jacket and boots. The hair refresher Credit: Hair by Sam McKnight The sunscreen The Face mist The Body Mist The Supplement Katie Withington, beauty writer For some, a long-haul escape is daydream material. As a writer whose job entails whirlwind travel across the world, my own fantasies involve lying horizontal for 24 hours straight – a desire long at odds with the pressure to 'make the most' of my annual leave. That was until I stumbled across the subtle art of the staycation: no passport panics, no post-holiday blues and no compromise on that all-important beachy bliss – just pure, uninterrupted downtime. For trips to Broadstairs, my favourite British coastal town, I pare back my make-up entirely, appreciating the salty breeze on my (almost) bare skin. I cheat the post-sunshine gleam by applying a tinted SPF for light coverage, and a toasty-red blusher across the top of my cheeks. Come rain or shine, I also make sure to pack a high-factor SPF, so I'm not caught out. A final spritz of Maison Margiela Replica Sailing Day never fails to capture that summer spirit for me, even when I'm fending off seagulls on terra firma rather than gliding across the glittering seas. After a long day exposed to the elements, spending the evening's golden hours lazing in the garden feels soul-soothing. Loewe's outdoor candle makes the experience even more luxurious, wafting aromas of verbena and cedar while casting a sunset glow. I wouldn't swap it for anything – especially not Heathrow flight delays. This Vitamin C Serum Is The Only Way I Maintain Glowing Skin

When it comes to skincare, not all ingredients are created equally, but one consistently earns its place at the top of the beauty hall of fame: vitamin C. Brightening, smoothing, and seriously glow-inducing, it's the powerhouse my skin can't live without, especially when it's delivered via a hard working serum. My skin is often dull, dry and quite lacklustre, which is why a vitamin C serum is key in my routine. My favourite is from Medik8, the brand that's mastered the art of fusing high performance active ingredients with science informed by dermatologists. If you're after radiant skin and a routine that works as hard as you do, this is the name to know. It goes without saying that, as a beauty writer, I get to try an abundance of skincare when it lands on my desk; as soon as I tried Medik8, I was hooked. The Medik8 ethos is to keep skincare simple and effective with specific ingredients, and I've discovered it works to maintain radiance and hydration in my skin. What I also like is that Medik8 offers products with ingredients of different strengths, which allows your skin to build up a tolerance to actives like vitamin C or retinol. One vitamin C product that caught my attention was C-Tetra Luxe, which the brand describes as a product to brighten, add radiance, reduce wrinkles and tone discolouration. Vitamin C is known for restoring glow and this serum has a more powerful, stabilised strength suitable for all skin types. For those new to the world of vitamin C in skincare, the original C-Tetra is one to have on your radar. 1. Shop: Medik8 C-Tetra Luxe With 14% of vitamin C, this velvety serum offers deep nourishment and hydration as the potent ingredient gets to work to reduce the appearance of pigmentation, tone and dark spots. The rich, oily texture feels luxurious and nourishing without pilling under moisturiser, SPF or make-up. Pros Rich, oily texture Infused with vitamin E and jojoba to provide nourishment Great for all skin types Cons Might be too intense for some beginners Why do I love this vitamin C serum? For me, I instantly see a boost of radiance and plumpness immediately after application and with continued use. The potent ingredient worked to improve dark spots, fine lines discolouration, but primarily solved my issue of dull-looking skin and added some much-needed glow. I originally started with C-Tetra and graduated up to Luxe after a couple of months. My skin reacts well to vitamin C but, for beginners, I would suggest starting with a lower percentage to build up your tolerance. Medik8 advises that both C-Tetra and C-Tetra Luxe are suitable for any skin type, including the most sensitive. I apply this serum in the morning before moisturiser and SPF, and my skin loves the oily texture. I crave a radiant finish, and this serum provides me with the confidence to go make-up free. Consider this serum your gateway into Medik8 - from Press & Glow to the Crystal Retinal range, this brand knows exactly how to get me obsessed with products that fuse skincare science with salon-worthy results. Keep scrolling to shop Grazia's other Medik8 favourites and start your perfect skincare regimen. 2. Medik8 Press & Glow An exfoliating toner is a non-negotiable in my routine and I have nothing but good things to say about Medik8's Press & Glow. This formula is gentle enough to use everyday to remove dead skin cells and texture without irritating. 3. Medik8 Advanced Day Ultimate Protect SPF50+ SPF is vital in every skincare routine, and Medik8's Advanced Ultimate Protect is a great offering to protect the skin. 4. Medik8 Hydra B5 Intense A hyaluronic serum is essential in any skincare routine, and Hydr8 B5's formula is perfect for flooding the skin full of hydration and antioxidants. 5. Medik8 Daily Radiance Vitamin C The all-in-one moisturiser complete with vitamin C and SPF 30 to get your skin glowing and protected from the sun. Vitamin C works to tone, even discolouration and boost radiance alongside SPF 30 to keep your skin protected from any signs of sun damage. 6. Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 The best way to introduce your skin to retinol, Medik8's Crystal Retinal range slowly introduces the ingredient to your skin and allows you to build strength to see continuous results. I'm addicted to this product as it allows me to see changes in my skin and helps improve texture and radiance without causing any irritation. Once your skin has adapted to retinal, gradual through the range and up the strength to continue to see results. Georgia Scott is a beauty product writer for Bauer Media, writing for Grazia. Medik8 unveils 'miracle' new serum that 'defends against premature ageing'

The results-driven brand has added a powerhouse new serum that boasts an "intelligent" combination of ingredients. Looking to target dull skin and wrinkles? Then many experts experts would agree that it is worth purchasing skincare products with vitamin C One that has become a staple for many beauty enthusiasts is Medik8's C-Tetra range, with the celebrity approved brand's range of serums said to "visibly reduce" wrinkles and hyperpigmentation within four weeks. Now there's a brand new addition, as the firm says the "wait is over" after adding the C-Tetra Advanced to the line-up, and, owing to Medik8's reputation, it has been hailed as a "miracle in a bottle." Retailing at £69 for a 30ml bottle, this serum has been designed to be used in a morning skincare routine, using a powerful formula that works to "defend against premature skin ageing and achieve accelerated visible skin brightening." Said to be infused with a next-generation combination of 20 percent vitamin C and cutting edge phyto exosomes, it helps to shield and improve the skin from any environmental aggressors that can cause early signs of ageing. The "intelligent" formula provides smarter, not harsher, results, with skin tone said to be "visibly brightened" in just seven days, leaving a soft, smooth, even complexion. It also offers a unique texture, acting as a gel-serum that is said to be "fast absorbing", leaving the skin "instantly refreshed", while also hydrating, priming and smoothing. ‘This new vitamin C serum is the only one that doesn't irritate my problem skin'

'I've been testing out this new skin-brightening vitamin C serum for months and can confirm it's a game-changer for blemish-prone skin like mine,' says our beauty editor Skin experts agree that vitamin C is one of the best skincare ingredients you can add to your routine, proven to be effective at brightening and evening the skin, defending against future damage, and tackling other signs of ageing. Vitamin C serums and creams, though, aren't always tolerated well by all skin types, including sensitive or spot-prone complexions – both of which apply to me. However, I've been testing Medik8's brand new serum, and it's a game-changer for problem skin like mine. Medik8 already makes a few hugely popular vitamin C serums, including the original C-Tetra (a longtime favourite with beauty editors) and C-Tetra Luxe (which has a richer texture). However, both of these are oil-based consistencies, which can block pores in blemish-prone – something I've certainly found in the past. Now Medik8 has just launched its C-Tetra Advanced serum, priced at £69, an effective formula containing 20% stabilised vitamin C in a gel-serum texture, designed to get visibly brighter skin and reduced wrinkles in just seven days. I received a bottle of Medik8 C-Tetra Advanced a few weeks ago ahead of its launch and I've been using it almost every morning since. I was a little dubious about trying it as Medik8's existing vitamin Cs haven't been right for me, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this one; the formula is like a very light, runny cream instead of an oil, sinks into skin quickly, and layers brilliantly with my other skincare and make-up products (I currently follow it with Medik8's brilliant Total Moisture Daily Facial Cream and my favourite Ultra Violette Future Fluid SPF 50+ Superlight Mineral SKINSCREEN). It did give a slight immediate brightening and evening out effect to my face, but it was about about a week of using it that I really started to notice a difference: my skin felt my much softer and smoother, looked generally more healthy, and my foundation looked fresher and less patchy. I didn't also get any breakouts or irritation (use it every other day at first if you're unsure). Of course, other factors may have affected this result, but I'm thrilled to have finally found a high-performance vitamin C serum that suits my skin. One point I'd flag is that it's not as hydrating as soon of my other favourite serums; usually I can go straight from serum to SPF in the mornings, but using this, I do need to apply a moisturiser in between. For this reason I think that this new launch is best for those with combination-to-oily skin, while anyone with dry skin should probably go for one of Medik8's other vitamin Cs (there's a handy tool on the website to help you to decide which is right for you). C-Tetra Advanced is also quite highly fragranced (probably because vitamin C doesn't usually smell very pleasant); this isn't something I have an issue with, but if you're skin is very sensitive to scent, you may want to go for something like CeraVe Skin Renewing 10% Pure Vitamin C Serum, £29. If you're looking for more alternatives, Facetheory Glow-C Vitamin C 20% Serum contains the same level of vitamin C (20%) but even cheaper at £23.
