Joe Jonas reveals why he ‘South Park' purity ring episode 'hilarious'
Los Angeles: Pop singer Joe Jonas "loved" the 'South Park' episode that mocked him for wearing a purity ring. The 35-year-old pop star and his brothers, Nick and Kevin famously wore purity rings, which symbolized their commitment to wait and get intimate. However, Joe wasn't at all bothered when 'South Park' mocked him for wearing it during a 2009 episode of the show, reports During an appearance on 'Josh Scherer's Mythical Kitchen's Last Meals' podcast, Joe said: "I think I was the only brother that loved it. Our skin was not as thick back then." He thought the episode was "hilarious" and he doesn't have any bitterness towards the makers of the hit TV show. He said: "I thought it was hilarious, because I watched 'South Park', and I was like, 'This is so funny, I know what they're doing, they make fun of everyone!'" Joe and his brothers are now all able to watch the episode and laugh it off. The pop star shared: "I think it's one of my favourite episodes. And later on, now, we just laugh. We love that. I think it's so great. Definitely a claim-to-fame for me." The singer was married to Sophie Turner between 2019 and 2024, and he recently described the actress as an "incredible mom". The singer has daughters Willa, four, and Delphine, two, with Turner. He said that they've developed a "beautiful co-parenting relationship" since finalising their divorce. Speaking to Jay Shetty during his 'On Purpose Live Tour', Joe had said: "I have a beautiful co-parenting relationship that I'm really grateful for. Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true." The 'Cake by the Ocean' hitmaker wants his children to have strong female role models in their lives.

He couldn't stay away. We know how much Joe Jonas loves Miami because he actually lived here for a time back when he was married to 'Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner (more on that later). On Wednesday evening, the pop star was back in the 305, and got some love from the locals — and not so locals, WPLG Channel 10 reports. Fans from near and far waited for hours to get a glimpse of their idol at the MiMo location of Caracas Bakery, which had a line snaking around Biscayne Boulevard, TV footage shows. A few lucky folks (mostly young and female) got a selfie with the dreamboat as well as cafecito and snacks he was doling out. Reason? No, Jonas isn't starting a new career as a baker. The father of two was promoting his catchy new single 'Heart By Heart.' The boy bander's Instagram stories show footage inside the popular restaurant, full of cups with the name of the song, out April 25. There was also a video of the 'Camp Rock' alum holding a tray of adorable heart shaped pastries. The 'Cake by the Ocean' singer had already alerted his followers that that he would be there with a cheekily worded caption, 'Cup of Joe,' with the cafe's address, and time, 5 p.m. So his appearance wasn't a huge shock, except to maybe a worker bee or two who attempted to wander in for an innocent caffeine or empanada fix after work. The popular Argentine bakery is just minutes away from the old house he shared with Turner in the Baypoint gated community. The celebrity couple, who had both of their daughters here, were often seen in the area, shopping, strolling and eating out. About a month after selling the six bedroom mansion for $15M in August 2023, they announced their divorce.
