Love Island winner hits out as he returns to normal job after reality TV fame
LOVE Island winner Nathan Massey has hit out at the government after a visit to his accountant – and revealed he's gone back to a more "normal" job. The 33-year-old star shot to fame on series two of Love Island, winning the show alongside his now-wife, Cara De La Hoyde. 7 7 Since the show the pair have got married and had two kids together – seven-year-old Freddie and five-year-old Delilah – and continue to work as influencers on social media. But away from that, Nathan has revealed that he has now returned to his previous job as a carpenter when work is slow – and is being taxed through the nose for his efforts. In a video posted online, he shared his frustrations, captioning the clip: "Rant alert 🚨 …. We are all really getting our pants pulled down 😮💨😮💨 and all I can do is laugh … worrying times 🤦🏻♂️" Sitting on his sofa, Nathan praised the accountants after visiting and said: "It's just hit me how much tax that we are paying. Like, don't get me wrong, we do okay, we're not multi millionaires by any stretch of the imagination, I wish I was but we're not, we do OK. "I'm back on the tools, I work on the tools when I can, when we're not doing our bits on social media etcetera, and it's just hit me how much we are getting taxed, and the VAT and everything we've got to pay is worrying." "Genuinely, how is anyone in this day and age supposed to get ahead of the game?" he questioned. "It's like, catch up, catch up, catch up. You know, it's really a dark timing in in our history. I think it's wowed me, I'm not gonna lie." Others quickly praised his honesty, sharing their own frustrations and struggles in the process. "Me and my husband bring in way above minimum wage and after all of our bills we are living pay cheque to pay cheque," one wrote. "Everytime I try to save something crops up. I feel like a right failure sometimes." "It's ridiculous now - it doesn't encourage people to work!" said a second. Nathan Massey shows off start of his body transformation While a third wrote: "It's utterly ridiculous isn't it! I'm pretty sure after the amount of tax, corporation tax and vat we pay, people that don't work are better off 🫣🫣 our whole system is backwards" Nathan and Cara took home £50,000 after winning Love Island series two back in 2017, and shortly after were snapped up for a series of lucrative deals online and on TV. However, the show didn't fully explode until series four, and since then there has been no shortage of islanders becoming hot commodities as they launch their careers. To date, there have been 12 full series of Love Island UK, and two All Stars versions – with a third coming our way next year to boot. Last November, Cara shut down her business still owing £25,000 to the tax man and in £90,000 worth of debt. Cara and Nathan still have a business together called Delamassey – which they set-up together last July. 7 7 7 7

Iconic Love Island star takes swipe at Megan Forte Clarke on Aftersun – insisting she made a ‘huge mistake'
LOVE Island legend Cara De La Hoyde took a huge swipe at Megan Forte Clarke on Aftersun - insisting she made a "huge mistake". Former winner Cara De La Hoyde, 34, claimed Megan, 24, made a fatal error by dumping Tommy Bradley, 22, insisting she could have won the show if she'd stayed loyal. Appearing on the ITV2 show with her husband and fellow Islander Nathan Massey, Cara said, 'She stumbled there, cos if she'd have stayed with him, she'd have won. So she's a silly shell.' Megan was dumped from the villa after coupling up with Casa Amor bombshell Hugo, a move that shocked viewers and saw public opinion quickly turn against her. Many fans believed her connection with Tommy was one of the strongest in the villa and were disappointed when she chose to end it. Cara and Nathan were both full of praise for Tommy, calling him a 'lovely boy' and saying he'd be the kind of man they'd want their daughter to bring home. Nathan added, 'I would love my daughter to bring a man home like Tommy. And he's a Tottenham fan as well.' Cara jokingly revealed, 'I stalked him the other day,' to which the audience erupted in laughter. Nathan went one step further, saying, 'Give him the 50 grand - just him, on his own." Reflecting on the split between the girls in the villa, Cara said she was firmly on the side of the women who stand up for themselves. She said: 'I'm on the stand up for yourself team. Not the doormat team. These boys are nothing.' As for who they're backing to win, there was no hesitation. Love Island star 'goes missing' on Aftersun as fans worry she's been axed from spin-off show Cara joked: 'Tommy only. No women. Just Tommy." The brunette bombshell's departure followed days of drama after she cracked on with Conor while in a couple with Tommy. Moments before her exit, Megan told an emotional Conor that she would 'wait for him' when he asked. However, Conor didn't offer to leave the villa alongside Megan, who he had spent the night with in the Hideaway. Conor told Ben by the Firepit: 'I hand on heart do not think that anyone is going to come through that door that I fancy more than Megan… I look at her like a girlfriend on the outside.' Megan had a tense final week in the villa. Fans were left unhappy after she ditched Tommy, who she had been with from the start, and moved on with the rugby lad. The pair shared secret snogs on the Terrace behind smitten Tommy 's back, infuriating viewers at home. Fans turned on Megan after she appeared to be gleeful when Conor and Tommy rowed over her. Speaking previously about her regret over the way she handled the love triangle, she told On Demand Entertainment how she would have done things differently given the chance. She said: "I'd take a breath." The TV star continued: "When you're in there, emotions are high. When you hear he said, she said stuff, it just winds you up even more." 3 3

Love Island star reveals ‘raunchy' scenes that viewers aren't being shown on screen
A LOVE Island star has revealed the 'raunchy' scenes that viewers aren't being shown on screen. Cara De La Hoyde Massey won the hit dating show in 2016, alongside husband Nathan. 6 6 6 And amid the chaos of this current series, and Yasmin's very sexual comments, OG Islanders like Cara have been saying just how much it reminds them of when they were on Love Island, nearly a decade ago. From chats about threesomes to secret snogs, and one boy's confession that he'd slept with a whole women's football team, the 2025 series has been far from dull. And 34-year-old Cara confessed that there will be a lot going on that we as the viewers don't see at home. Speaking on behalf of Genting Casino, she said: 'The things that came out in our series, I don't even think I can say! So on this series, there must be so much more they're saying that they're not even showing us. 'In fact, there are things they probably can't show us, because it's just a group of young people talking and having a laugh. We'd all do the same, wouldn't we?' Cara also spoke about the pressure the Islanders will be feeling, and how it feels like you've been in the villa for a lot longer than you actually have. She said: 'It's so hard because obviously I've been in there and the public haven't been in there, so they don't understand what it's like. 'Once you're coupled up with someone, you kind of feel safe. I think this year especially, they want to be coupled up because it makes them feel safer as they're just letting people go left, right and centre.' She also said Meg's behaviour towards Malisha in the Dejon love triangle 'wasn't right,' but defended her by adding: 'I understand why people's reactions are sometimes so big because you're just in a bubble. 'We watch the show for an hour and then go away and we have our normal life, but for everyone in there, that is literally all that consumes their day. They've got no contact with the outside world and can't move away from these situations.' And things are only about to get even more dramatic in the villa, with four new bombshells heading in and going straight for a saucy sleepover. Lobe Island's four new bombshells have already left the villa in the series' latest chaotic twist - but they've not gone far, and they're not alone. The Sun can reveal the newbies have taken four OG's with them to the Casa Amor villa for a sleepover. Last summer, the same twist saw Joey Essex and Grace Jackson hook up in steamy scenes - and producers are hoping for more of the same from 2025's Islanders. Whilst we are keeping shtum on which of the OGs are selected for the saucy stopover, we can reveal that their choices leave their partners' losing their heads back at the main villa. A source said: 'The saucy sleepover worked brilliantly last year and bosses felt now was the perfect time to deploy the same cheeky twist. 'Dejon and Meg have just made up, Tommy and Megan and Conor and Emily are wavering, and everyone else is scrambling for a connection. 'The bombshells aren't playing it safe though and their choices make for brilliant TV.' NEW BOMBSHELLS The Sun earlier revealed the four new bombshells who are fresh on Love Island The first is Giorgio Russo, who is football champion Alessia Russo 's brother. The half Italian hunk is known as Gio and, just like his England Women 's and Arsenal champion sis, he's big into his fitness. Yet his villa entrance may well mean he will miss Alessia's stint in the Women's Euro's 2025, which kicks off on July 2. The other lad is Will Means, who will be more than a rival for Gio in the gym. He competes in Hyrox world championship races and has even done an Ironman. The boys are joined by two stunning girls. The Sun had already revealed that gorgeous blonde Poppy Harrison had flown out to Mallorca ready for romance, and now she's in the villa. She has set foot in the ITV2 matchmaking show compound after only calling time on her latest relationship last week. Last but not least is Caprice Alexandra, who looks to be another travel bunny. Her Instagram is filled with curvy bikini snaps from the likes of Mauritius and Morocco. 6 6 6

Freddy wore a Louis Vuitton shirt unbuttoned with a black t-shirt and brown trousers. He appeared in good spirits alongside Cara and Nathan, who took their young kids, Freddie, seven, and Delilah, four, to the special event at NEON at Battersea Power Station. A number of other very famous faces including former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and wife Carrie also attended. They enjoyed their first family outing since welcoming their fourth child, daughter Poppy Eliza Josephine Johnson in May. TV and radio favourite Fearne Cotton were among the star's who spent the afternoon learning the difference between a Diplodocus, a Spinosaurus and a Giganotosaurus. Countdown 's Rachel Riley and husband Pasha Kovalev also attended with their daughters Maven and Noa. They came face-to-face with a Velociraptor Blue, interacted with baby dinosaurs and even getting a rare up-close look at the most vicious dinosaur of them all, the T-rex. The experience also welcomed Sugababes pop star Heidi Range, This Morning 's Ashley James and Ex Made In Chelsea couple Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey and their families. Jurassic World: The Experience is a fully immersive adventure that brings the iconic franchise to life like never before. The first film was released back in 1993 and was an adaptation directed by Steven Spielberg. There have been a total of seven movies in the franchise, including the three original Jurassic Park films and the four Jurassic World films. FREDDY'S NEXT MOVE Freddy's outing today comes just hours after he was with his grandmother Jackiey Budden, 68, mother of tragic Big Brother star Jade Goody. We revealed TV presenter Jeff, 46, has a court date in his legal fight to stop Freddy from seeing Jackiey amid concerns over his welfare. A family friend said: ' Jeff and Freddy are in regular contact with each other - probably more than most dads and their adult children. 'They talk a lot and spend plenty of time together. 'Jeff just wants the best for his son and the door is always open for him. "Jackiey's influence over Freddy is harmful to his overall wellbeing. 'It's very sad that a grandmother continues to try and lead him astray.' On Friday Freddy revealed he's going to rehab in Spain, saying he 'wants a healthy relationship with his dad'. Jeff and Freddy were on ITV together last month, presenting This Morning's competition segment from Malta. Jeff joked: 'He sat in as an apprentice to see how it all works. At first, he was on light reflector duty, and then he was about to take my job, so I am glad that it came to an end. 'I was about to be relieved of my duties.' 9 9 9 9 9
