Swarovski Unveils Summer Terrace Takeover at Cracco Portofino in Italy
The Austrian crystal brand reveals a new terrace experience at one of Portofino's most prominent dining destinations. This summer, the glamour of Swarovski meets the charm of the Italian Riviera as the Austrian crystal house transforms the terrace of Cracco Portofino into a sparkling seasonal escape. Overlooking the marina and shaded in signature hues, the new Swarovski Terrace invites guests into a branded experience that fuses coastal leisure with precision design—just in time for the height of the Portofino social calendar. Building on the concept first introduced during the 'Masters of Light: From Vienna to Milan' exhibition in 2024, the new Portofino iteration carries over similar aesthetic elements, including the use of vibrant colours and crystal-themed decor. The outdoor terrace has been redesigned with branded parasols, a welcome desk at sea level, and a Swarovski-branded octagonal frame positioned for scenic photographs. Guests visiting the terrace will be able to sample a curated menu featuring sweet and savoury items, including a bespoke cocktail and dessert developed in collaboration with chef Carlo Cracco. The dishes will be served on Swarovski x Rosenthal porcelain tableware, designed by Swarovski's Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert. Located along the Gulf of Tigullio, Cracco Portofino is known for highlighting regional ingredients through a fine dining lens. The Swarovski Terrace activation introduces a branded experience without disrupting the core culinary focus of the restaurant. Reservations can now be made through Cracco Portofino Restaurant, though limited walk-in seating is also available.
