While Polestar is undoubtedly a premium brand, there are still deals to be had with the 4, such as this one, which sees you taking the keys for less than £350 a month. Via the Auto Express Find a Car service, Carparison is offering the sleek Swede for £346.96 a month after a modest £4,462.32 initial payment. It's a two-year deal with a very reasonable 6,000-miles-a-year cap. But, should you need more, you'll only need to find an extra £15.13 a month to bump this up to 8,000 miles per annum. This deal is for the entry-level version, but in actual fact, it's the variant that'll appeal to most people, thanks to its long list of standard kit, and more importantly, high driving range. The Long Range Single Motor model packs a chunky 100kWh (94kWh useable) battery under its curvy body, giving a claimed range of up to 385 miles. A 200kW maximum DC charging speed means this large pack can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes. It's sufficiently fast for everyday driving, plus thanks to its smaller 20-inch wheels – compared with the rest of the range – it's the best riding 4 of the lot. The entry-level car has a whole wealth of standard equipment. Features such as an eight-way electrically adjustable driver's seat and a six-way passenger seat, ambient lighting, a heat pump, wireless phone charging, along with a Google-based infotainment system are all included. Polestar UK also throws in free metallic paint (silver) and the Plus Pack, which adds a posh Harman Kardon Premium Sound audio system, pixel LED headlights with adaptive high beam, and 22kW charging. Then there's the design: the Ioniq 6 demands attention whether you're looking from the inside or out. While it might resemble something from a sci-fi film, it's easy to drive thanks to light steering and a quiet cabin. It's quick, too – a 228bhp electric motor is enough to punch it from 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds. Equipment levels are excellent. The all-important heat pump is present and accounted for, there's dual-zone climate control, a vehicle-to-load charging capacity, twin 12.3-inch screens, a wireless smartphone charger and a heated steering wheel to go with heated front and rear seats. At 64kWh, MG claims a range of 279 miles and we've found that to be pretty accurate in normal, everyday driving. In addition, top-ups on the road should take around 35 minutes thanks to a 135kW maximum charging rate. The MG4 is very nippy around town and a supple ride makes light work of speed bumps. Up the pace outside of the city limits, and the MG4 only improves, outshining many of its rivals. Great body control and sharp steering add up to – dare we say it – a fun driving experience. We've spotted the electric coupe-SUV being offered for less than £235 a month right now. Lease deals on the new Ford Capri just keep getting cheaper and cheaper, and this one, from Carparison via the Auto Express Find a Car service, is the cheapest we've seen. It's the lesser of the two specs available (an even cheaper Style is due soon) but it's still feature-packed. Niceties include heated sports seats, a 12-way electrically adjustable driver's seat with memory and a massage function, a wireless charging pad, and a portrait-shaped 14.6-inch touchscreen. Plus, this deal also throws in metallic paint for free. The interior itself is modern, without a hint of the retro design you might expect. The dashboard is carried over in its entirely from the Explorer electric SUV, so you can expect a quality feel and simple-to-use touchscreen. Despite that sloping roofline room in the back passenger space is generous, and there's a sizeable 572-litre boot. Powering the Capri is a 282bhp electric motor that sends its juice to the rear wheels, and there's a 77kWh battery pack. It's a sprightly car with 0-62mph taking a very brisk 6.4 seconds, and the Capri has a more dynamic feel than the Volkswagen ID models it shares so much componentry with. Range, meanwhile, stands at a claimed 389 miles; in our testing that equates to around 250 in the winter and over 300 in the summer.
