Jorge Masvidal will call in 'favor' for UFC White House, pitches Colby Covington rematch
Jorge Masvidal is determined to compete at the UFC's White House event and will do whatever it takes to land a place on the card. Masvidal (35-17 MMA, 12-10 UFC) hasn't competed in MMA since an April 2023 loss to Gilbert Burns at UFC 287, after which he announced his retirement. He intends to make a comeback in 2026, however, and with fights remaining on his UFC contact, he expects offers to come through. "Gamebred" has his mind and heart set on fighting July 4 at the UFC's proposed fight card at the White House in Washington, and given his history with President Trump, he likes his chances of getting the opportunity. 'Donald Trump was the only Republican to ever win in Miami in the last 30 years, or something crazy like that. Trump said it himself, 'Masvidal is my favourite, he won me Miami, Florida,'" Masvidal told CasinoHawks, who offer the latest online casinos. 'So Trump, that one favour I need, get me on the White House card, brother, let's go. I'll call Trump myself, I got his number on speed dial. I'll call him. I'll call my brother Marco Rubio. I'll call everybody in this town. Get me there. 'I want to fight on that White House card on July 4, it will be the most American thing possible." If Masvidal is granted his wish, then he said any opponent would suffice. However, if things are to be at their most significant, he said rematches with rivals Colby Covington or Kamaru Usman, who are a combined 3-0 against him in the octagon, would be the ideal fits. 'I wouldn't mind fighting Colby," Masvidal said. "I would love to fucking take his head off in front of the White House lawn. I don't think UFC will care to fucking book Colby for anything, but who knows? I would love that fight. 'I have a lot of respect for Kamaru, but I would like to run it back as well. Both times we got to fight were short notice for both of us. I would like a proper camp, 10 or 11 weeks to get ready for that animal and go to war with him on the lawn.'

Conor McGregor told he cannot run for President by UFC legend
Conor McGregor has been told that it will be impossible for him to become President of Ireland by UFC legend Jorge Masvidal. McGregor has flirted with the prospect of running for the Áras and often makes comments on social media suggesting that he is planning on getting into office. While a tilt for the presidency is unlikely for a number of legislative reasons, UFC icon Masvidal believes McGregor's demeanour and character are the key reasons why he will never become President. Masvidal was speaking to CasinoHawks, who offer the latest online casinos, when he said… "I think the way that he carries himself he's just not gonna be taken seriously because you just can tell by observing him, this guy is here now, gone later. We're gonna put him in office, and then he's gonna decide to do something completely different." Jorge Masvidal in action at UFC 287. To run for the presidency, McGregor would need to either be nominated by at least 20 members of the Oireachtas (TDs or Senators) or by at least four local authorities (county or city councils), both of which are fanciful prospects at this juncture.

I would have beaten Daniel Dubois in botched world title fight but don't rule him out of undisputed showdown with Usyk
Dubois was due to defend his IBF world title against Joseph Parker back in February but had to pull out just two days before the fight with an illness Joseph Parker is in no doubt that he would have taken Daniel Dubois ' world title away from him in their botched February showdown. But the New Zealand boxer insists Oleksandr Usyk cannot take the Brit lightly when they fight for the undisputed heavyweight crown at Wembley Stadium in two months time. Former WBO boxing world champion Parker had got himself another shot at the world title earlier this year off the back of impressive victories against Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang, only for Dubois to pull out of the fight two days before he walked to the ring. Glasgow-based Martin Bakole was drafted in as a last-minute replacement and was knocked out by Parker inside two rounds in Saudi Arabia. Parker, a close friend and training partner of Tyson Fury, will now have to bide his time in his quest to become a two-time world champion, with Dubois and Usyk putting all four belts on the line at Wembley on July 19. And while the 33-year-old can't help but think about what would have happened had be shared the ring with Dubois in February, he has warned Usyk - who stopped the Brit in round nine of their previous encounter in August 2023 - that he is now fighting a totally different man. Speaking to CasinoHawks - offer the latest Casino Sites, he said: "As a fighter, you will believe that you will win every fight. "I was going to win the fight and become the champion of the world. Daniel Dubois probably thought he will defend the title successfully. Unfortunately he got sick and the fight was called off and now he is for the undisputed championship of the world. I wholeheartedly believe I would have won that fight against Dubois. "Daniel Dubois has a lot of power, but in past fights when times got tough, he stopped or found a way out. If times got hard for me, I would continue to fight until I was knocked or done. I will go to the very end. "Maybe he has changed, but if things get hard for him he could revert back to type. "With the Miller fight, he went back and forth. Against Hrgovic, he got caught with a lot of right hands but still overcame it and with the Joshua fight he just came looking for the knockout. His resurgence has been excellent." Parker is desperate to test himself against two-weight undisputed champion Usyk but would also entertain a rematch with Anthony Joshua, who outpointed him in a world title defence back in 2018. He added: "I want to fight Usyk because he has beaten everyone. I believe he is the best fighter at the moment. He unified and became the undisputed champion at cruiserweight and then came to do the same in the heavyweight division. "He is a fighter you want to test yourself against - he is the best there is and I want to fight the best. I did mention this to him when I saw him last week in Italy. He just said ''maybe, we will see.' "I wanna rectify all my losses. At the moment, Joe Joyce is coming off 3 losses right now. He lost to Zhang, (Derek) Chisora and (Filip) Hrgovic and it's a hard place to come from especially since he had beaten everyone that was put in front of him previously. "Joshua would be a great fight to have and avenge that loss, I would like to rematch Dillian Whyte and if Joe Joyce is still around I will fight him too."

Tyson Fury insider drops boxing return hint as Gyspy King told how long he'll need to prepare for Anthony Joshua
Joseph Parker is in no doubt that Fury still has what it takes to compete at the top end of the heavyweight division Joseph Parker believes Tyson Fury would only need 'six to eight weeks' to get himself back into the fighting shape required for a long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua. The two-time heavyweight world champion seemingly hung up his boxing gloves for good back in January following two consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk but earlier his week teased fans that a return to the ring is imminent. Joshua is searching for an opponent later this year as he looks to bounce back from his devastating knockout loss to Daniel Dubois last September. His promoter Eddie Hearn insists that they are more than willing to come to the table for the highly-anticipated heavyweight dust-up but has also stated that the onus is on Fury to make it happen. And according to the Gypsy King's close pal and training partner Parker - a former WBO world champion himself - the 36-year-old would be back and ready to rock with Joshua in no time. Speaking to Metro via CasinoHawks - who offer the latest UK casino sites, he said: "Tyson Fury has had the more recent fight over Anthony Joshua, therefore Joshua has been out longer. "In my opinion, if they keep themselves fit – it shouldn't take that long to get you ready to fight. "You have sparring, work with your coach, your road runs, pad work and that should take you between six to eight weeks. "Tyson Fury has done everything there is to do in the sport. He has made a lot of money and is now spending a lot of quality time with his family. 'If he does want to return, he can. A lot of people would still like to see him fight. "He is an entertainer and says a lot of things to get people's attention. "If it's a fight with Joshua or Usyk, I'm sure a lot of people will be dying to see these fights. Parker himself is hoping to land another crack at the world title and is desperate to fight the winner of the undisputed showdown between Usyk and Dubois at Wembley in July. He added: "It's great to have these reports that tell you you're going to be the mandatory challenger. "However, if we can expand on it and get something solid and locked in where I will be able to fight the winner it will be fantastic and a dream come true. I hope it can happen and come through. "I would like to fight sometime soon and keep busy. I know every fight is a risk where you may win and may lose. I want to keep fighting, progressing and keep busy. "Hopefully we can get a fight very soon so I can get into camp, keep progressing and keep the good flow going."
