Anushka Sharma responded to Virat Kohli's praise with a sweet and simple post, where she mentioned being 'happy' after his review of her performance.
It goes without saying that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are one of India's most adored couples. Every little moment they share with each other becomes pure gold for their fans. On Anushka's birthday today, May 1, let's look back at the time before Virushka's wedding when Virat proudly praised Anushka's performance in NH10, proving he was a green flag from the beginning of their relationship.
Right after the release of her 2015 action thriller directed by Navdeep Singh, the former India skipper took to his X account and praised Anushka's performance in NH10. In the post shared on March 17, 2015, Virat said, 'Just watched #NH10 and I am blown away."
But it was his next sentence that surely left their fans gushing over them. Complimenting his girlfriend, he added, 'What a brilliant film and especially an outstanding performance by my love @AnushkaSharma. SO PROUD :)" Upon seeing the tweet, she responded sweetly with a simple post.

NH10, starring Anushka Sharma, Neil Bhoopalam, Darshan Kumar and Deepti Naval, revolves around the story of a young married couple whose road trip takes a dangerous turn when they encounter a group of violent criminals on National Highway 10. The film, released in 2015, went on to become a sleeper hit. The film also marked Anushka's debut as a producer.
More than two years after the film's release, Anushka and Virat tied the knot in a private and intimate wedding ceremony in December 2017 in Italy after a few years of dating. Three years after their marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika, in January 2021. And in February last year, they announced the arrival of their son, Akaay, after keeping the actress' second pregnancy under wraps.
Speaking of their respective work fronts, the 37-year-old actress is supposed to return to the screen with Chakda 'Xpress, a sports drama based on the life of Jhulan Goswami. However, the film's release date remains uncertain. Meanwhile, Virat is shining in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) as part of the playing 11 of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
