New summer menus on offer at Fort Kinnaird
Fort Kinnaird's restaurants and cafés have launched a range of limited-edition menu items for shoppers to enjoy during the warmer days and lighter evenings. With new summer burger combinations and refreshing drinks, there is something to suit every taste. Liam Smith, centre director at Fort Kinnaird, said: 'The summer months are the perfect time to catch up with friends and family, and here at Fort Kinnaird we have plenty of great spots to eat and drink whatever the occasion – whether celebrating something special, enjoying the sunshine over lunch, or just grabbing a quick bite after hitting the shops.' Get stuck into new menu icons at Nando's The ever-popular Nando's has welcomed a range of fresh options just in time for summer, including The Big Cheese, a brand-new burger combining the ultimate summer flavours of grilled halloumi, red pepper and pineapple salsa, sliced avocado and Churrasco PERinaise. And there's a selection of new sides to try too, such as the Summer Grains which are drizzled with a creamy yoghurt dressing and Charred Corn topped with a garlicky sauce, fresh spring onions, and PERi-Salt. All this can be washed down with a refreshing Tropical Quencher and enjoyed alfresco at the restaurant's outdoor seating area. Create your own donburi bowl for the first time at Wagamama Filled with vibrant flavours, freshness, and feel-good food, Wagamama's summer menu includes the brand-new Donburi bowls which allow guests to customise their rice bowls and opt for lighter options like cauliflower rice which are perfect for the warmer weather. There's also a selection of cold and warm salads such as the Sweet Chilli Salad, a great choice for refuelling over lunchtime, and a range of new desserts and drinks like the Miso Caramel Banana Bread and spicy Saffron Picante. The May menu will bring new food, drinks and dips to the chain's restaurants across the country. From a new dip to a firm favourite already on the menu to a new burger, there is plenty to sink your teeth into – let's take a look. Nando's new burger The Big Cheese (Image: Nando's) One of the new items is The Big Cheese, which is a new burger made with grilled halloumi, red pepper and pineapple salsa, sliced avocado and Churrasco PERinaise. The Big Cheese is priced at £9.25 / £15.50. Halloumi fans are being treated to a new dip, PERi-Honey. Described as the "sweetwave you've been waiting for", Nando's says "once you've tried it, you'll want it on everything". PERi-Honey is £1.25 or you can get Halloumi Sticks with PERi-Honey for £4.95. Halloumi Sticks with PERi-Honey (Image: Nando's) Another new item added is the Summer Grains side, offering mixed grains with green chickpeas and dried apricots in lemon and oil, drizzled with a creamy yoghurt dressing. This is alongside another new side, Charred Corn, which is smoky sweetcorn in a creamy, garlicky sauce topped with fresh spring onions and PERi-Salt. Charred Corn is £5 with Summer Grains £4.25. Nando's has also launched its Tropical Quencher drink, for the "ultimate summer slurp2, priced at £4.25. It follows the recent launch of Extra Saucy Wings, putting secret sauce PERi-Flamer on the menu for the first time. Nando's customers can buy items from the new May menu from Tuesday, May 13. As well as the new menu, Nando's has launched a national sauce vote, inviting fans to vote to bring back their favourite spice this summer.
