ChatGPT AI. A new report from a watchdog group Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) has raised alarm over how the popular chatbot ChatGPT responds to vulnerable teens. According to a report by Associated Press, the study reveals that AI chatbot can easily generate suicide notes, drug-use plans and also extreme editing advice when prompted even by a 13 year old. One of the researchers involved in the study said he "started crying" after the bot generated a series of detailed suicide notes for a fictional 13-year-old girl. ChatGPT's 'dangerous' conversation with teens Associated Press reported that they reviewed more than three hours of interaction between the OpenAI chatbot and researchers simulating distressed teens. The report adds that ChatGPT started the conversation with a warning and it then frequently shifted into detailed and personalised responses which included instructions on how to cancel eating disorders, how to get drunk and the most shocking was the suicide letters. 'I started crying,' said CCDH CEO Imran Ahmed, after reading three suicide notes ChatGPT generated for a fictional 13-year-old girl—one addressed to her parents, others to siblings and friends. Ahmed highlighted that AI is more insidious than a search engine because it can create a new, synthesized plan from scratch and is perceived by users as a "trusted companion." What the study concluded As per the study conducted by CCDH more than half of the responses generated by ChatGPT were dangerous. The chatbot offers a detailed and hour-by-hour drug party plan. It also gave a quite detailed and descriptive plan for fasting regimens and self-harm poetry. Researchers were also easily able to bypass the safety filters by mentioned that the information they are asking is for a friend. Also, ChatGPT does not verify age or offer any kind of parental consent. NBA mock draft 2025: AI predictions roundup for first round picks
Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper are the two players and picks NBA mock drafts and AI agree on. If the folks who devise mock drafts and the data and algorithms that fuel artificial intelligence are correct, the first two picks of the 2025 NBA draft are a near certainty at this point, despite still being a week away. Cooper Flagg is going to be the No. 1 selection by the Dallas Mavericks and the Rutgers guard Dylan Harper will go No. 2 to the San Antonio Spurs when the NBA convenes in Brooklyn beginning Wednesday, June 25 for the draft. Almost every mock draft, including the most recent one produced by USA TODAY's NBA experts, has them being chosen in that order. But so does almost every major AI platform. USA TODAY Sports asked five AI programs ‒ Microsoft Copilot AI, Meta AI, Grok AI, Google Gemini AI, ChatGPT AI ‒ to produce simulations of every pick during the 2025 NBA draft first round. Each one had Flagg as the No. 1 pick and Harper as the No. 2 choice. After that, however, there wasn't much consensus between the humans and AI. Baylor's VJ Edgecombe, Rutgers wing Ace Bailey, Duke's Kon Knueppel and Texas guard Tre Johnson were the only other consensus top-10 picks, according to the AI projections. There were 45 players chosen overall among the various AI projections for the 30 spots in the first round and a wide range of outcomes, particularly outside the lottery selections. ChatGPT AI-driven NBA Mock Draft has Jase Richardson landing just outside lottery ChatGPT AI is predicting Jase Richardson to land just outside the lottery in the upcoming NBA Draft. USA TODAY Sports released their latest NBA Mock Draft driven by ChatGPT AI, and Richardson landed right about where most human draft experts are predicting. The computer model had Richardson going No. 17 overall to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Richardson starred for the Spartans during his lone season in college, playing a massive part in Michigan State winning the Big Ten and reaching the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Richardson averaged 12.1 points per game and shot above 40% from three-point range, which raised his draft stock to where it was a no-brainer to enter the NBA Draft and leave after just one year. Richardson has been commonly mocked to land anywhere from late lottery pick to late first round pick. Most of the recent mock drafts I've came across have him landing just outside the lottery like we saw here from USA TODAY Sports' ChatGPT AI mock draft. OpenAI rolls out GPT-4.1 to all ChatGPT paying subscribers
OpenAI is making GPT-4.1, the latest addition to its collection of AI models, available to all of its paid users. The rollout to ChatGPT Plus, Pro and Team members begins today, while Enterprise and Edu subscriptions will have to wait a few weeks to get access. Once available, GPT-4.1 can be chosen from the "more models" dropdown menu in the model picker. This version of the ChatGPT AI chatbot rolled out to the company's developer API last month , offering upgrades in speed and efficiency over the GPT-4.5 model that it replaced (yes, that is a slightly convoluted numbering system). OpenAI is iterating models at a breakneck speed this year; GPT-4.5 just debuted in February and is already being outpaced in stats by a new version. The company also has a GPT-4.1 mini option that will replace the current small model of GPT-4o mini . That upgrade will happen for all tiers, including the free one. GPT-4.1 mini will be the fallback option for free users once they reach the cap on their access to the heftier GPT-4o model.
